Question [CLOSED] Is the OnePlus nord ce2 hanging problem common in all phones ? What is a solution ? - OnePlus Nord CE 2

I purchased OnePlus Nord CE 2 5g with huge expectations. The Mediatek Dimensity 900 processor and 8GB RAM assured me that the phone will perform as per expectations.
But, I experienced OnePlus Nord CE2 hanging problem one day when I was using Facebook. The phone stopped responding to touches and the entire display turned black and unresponsive. I tried a lot of things and finally the phone became okay after a forced restart.
<Moderator Edit>: Self-promoting video link deleted.
But the OnePlus Nord CE 2 hang issue returned the next day itself and finally a thread in Reddit showed me that OnePlus Nord CE 2 5g hang problem solution is a factory reset and cache partition wipe. Finally now I'm factory reseting my phone almost every month.
Another problem is OnePlus Nord CE 2 heating issue especially when charging and playing games but that is not a big deal when compared with the unresponsive touch screen and hanging.
My question is, are these problems because of a software issue and can they be solved by further updates.

Update to latest available software. I don't have hanging issue.

NOKIA 8, A TICKING Time-bomb?

(Roughly) Couple of months ago. My Nokia experienced periodic freezing/lagging issue, the screen showed artifacts. Eventually the whole screen died. As I was in warranty, I had the phone repaired. (They changed the screen and the PCB).
Yesterday, similar issue happened again, except HALF of the screen gave it right away following lag and crashes. Upon digging through internet there appears to be many other users with the same issue.
Apparently it is caused by a degradation of the connector cable to the screen. As I just had the components replaced, I have no doubt that Nokia have not recognised the issue. More worryingly, this could be an issue that will affect every Nokia 8 owners.
ATM it is not an issue, as we are probably all still in the warranty period. No doubt there will be more post on this in a years time.

(not my video.)
Been using mine for several months without any such issues. The incidence doesn't seem all that high to be a major issue like bendgate for Apple but Nokia should resolve it for devices that do face this issue and extend the warranty accordingly.

So true.
I bought my phone back in november . The half screen artifacts issue appeared first in january and got the screen replaced. It appeared again 2 months back and it was replaced and was delivered to me recently(yes the service center took almost two months to get it replaced due to parts scarcity) .As you said it is definitely the connector problem which detoriates over time and i fear this issue will repeat again in future.

I feel this problem is a bit like the Nexus 5X / LG G4 scandal. People didn't start highlighting the problem until at least a year since release and as their warranty runs out. Given that I had the 'problem' parts replaced yet the issue re-occurred with new parts, it appears the problem is not likely to be batch related.
If it is an issue with degradation I'm sure there will more people affected. Maybe not now, but soon. Hence 'TICKING' time-bomb.
What model? I have the TA-1012 and have no problems. Got the phone in Feb 2018.

My model is TA-1012.

The number of fault being reported is getting higher, and some already have repeated repairs. THERE IS A PROBLEM somewhere.
Personally, I feel sorry for the people that are not in the EU/US.. i.e. people in India and Asia. Gauging by the Nokia 8 community forum is that they are being actively ignored by Nokia as there is (probably) lack of consumer rights in those countries.

Furthermore:
My conversation with Nokia
what happens if my phone have the same fault again?
it looks like its quite common
my been repaired once already

Nokia mobile care
if you have a hardware issue with your phone, you have all the rights to send your phone for repair as many times as needed
me
and every time it takes a month for it to be repaired. Don't you think there's a problem somewhere?
--
Nokia's stance is, repair as often as you need to be, it doesn't matter even if it means you will be without your phone for 2-3 months every single time, and in 1 years (2 years in EU) time we won't have to deal with you again anyway!

Is Oneplus became flagship to be killed?!

Hi
Idea if flagship killer was very cool to me so I really fall in love with OnePlus. I became part of community and I really want to help OnePlus to became really killer.
Today, after 4 Oneplus phones I am really disappointed, Oneplus became expensive top brand, flagship company. Rolling out Android 10 without serious testing for company's most expensive phone is most selfish and irresponsible move I ever seen. Looks like to me whole company working on Oneplus 7T Pro, and no one cares too much about "old" phone. This morning I was late for my work because alarm did not ring?! I don't know reason, I don't care why, I am user of 800€ phone and I don't expect that.
Wake up Oneplus,
I'm running official GM21AA on my GM1913 for 2 days, no root, just stock phone.
So far I noticed this problems:
- This morning my alarm did not ring?!
- After that disappointing situation I notices mobile data was off, so I have to turn it on manually
- Choppy audio on Bluetooth in my car ( I have to keep screen on for normal reproduction)
- Horizon Light don't work at all
- During Viber video call, video connection shuts down every few minutes, so I have to turn off then on video call constantly.
- Battery life was very nice first day, but second became terrible. Btw I have no issue with Viber, alarm clock, mobile data and Car Bluetooth during first day of using Android 10.
Any suggestions beside rolling back on Android P or selling and leaving OnePlus and back to Pixel phone
Why not do some research? There are a dozen things you can try to fix your issues. I updated from Stable 9 to 10 using Oxygen Updater and I have none of the issues you have so what is the difference? Maybe you have one or more apps that are not playing well with 10? Maybe you need to uninstall them and reinstall them so that they work better with 10? Maybe you need to do a factory reset (yes it is a pain) and DO NOT let your apps automatically reinstall from Google, to see if that fixes your issues? Or you could just sell the phone and go back to a Pixel! Then when you have the same types of issues with your Pixel you can complain on their forums about bugs and issues that you are not willing to try and fix. Solved!
NO. Still doesn't have wireless charging (which I miss A LOT) and the camera software is still not good.

Redmi Note 7 Pro Sim repair or trash it?

Hey guys, I bought a new Redmi Note 7 Pro from HKGoldway recently. The phone arrived undamaged but the simcard's I've tried to use go into a constant connect and disconnect loop. HKGoldway never helped me out so I lost my money on it.
I believe it's a hardware issue as I've factory reset, tried different sims, rom updates and changing radio settings.
Has anyone had an issue like this and was it fixable? Or should I just bin this phone as it's pretty much just a small tablet without it's cellular feature.
Video of the issue here:

Question Functouch OS 11 vs Functouch OS 12

Hi Fellow Android users,
Some background to my experience recently.
Lately I got my touch digitizer suddenly die on me without any physical or liquid damage. I had to visit VIVO / IQOO service center to get it repaired. Due to my repeated requests stating that it's not a software bug that lower half of the screen randomly died, they still flashed my phone and formatted my data. Since I was already prepared for this as Indian technicians and mobile repair guys are no better than roadside puncture guys, it didn't affect me.
Once they were done formatting they obviously tried to prove it to me that see now it's working fine which they themselves were not confident about and I didn't have to argue much.
They gave in and replaced the touch digitizer and since then the phone is back to normal.
Though to my surprise they flashed Funtouch OS 11. I had already updated to Funtouch OS 12, this was a surprise for me since I couldn't find a way to revert back to OS 11 due to plethora of issues OS 12 brought.
Since then I've been staying on OS 11 and have refused to update to OS 12 as personally I find bugs to be liveable as compared to OS 12.
Hence this poll is created.
Share your thoughts and let's try to raise this to users who might get attracted by hardware that the software isn't as great as it could and should have been.

Question ROG Phone 5 reboots randomly

Hi. I got my ROG Phone 5 in April 2021, but since the last month or so, the device keeps rebooting randomly for no apparent reason. This happens at least twice every week under different conditions (in use, idle, charging...).
I recently updated my firmware to WW-31.0810.1226.128, but the issue persists. It's worth mentioning that the issue also happened on older firmware.
Does anyone know what might be causing this? Did anyone experience something similar with the ROG Phone 5?
P.S. What's with System Update never finding any updates? I always have to download updates manually from ASUS.com in order to install them.
send to repair it, my phone also got that problem before. ask them to reball cpu, ram and ufs. dont believe if they ask to change to new motherboard.
