Yes it's been something present in several roms you could always turn on single tap to wake and it will start working

How do we flash the system_ext via fastbootd? First time seeing this img

Is this decrypt ready?
Can I use gpay?
Any noticable bugs?

If you are coming from custom rom just flash zip with twrp, if you are coming from oos : fastboot flash system_ext_a or (b) system_ext.img. I posted a video in yaap telegram chat. If you get crash dump after flashing from oos to new a11 just change slots and reboot. Make sure to flash the rom on both slots. A11 system has this new system_ext partition and will be present in every rom coming foward. Since a10 doesn't have that partition then it has to be created. Recommended you check the yaap telegram for the video I posted

Also just to make it work install elemental kernel manager and enable double tap to wake and it will start working it seems like the setting is not getting turned on by default in settings, minor bug.

Don't know about g paysince I don't use it, but it does pass safety net if you use magisk hide prop, by decrypt it works to decrypt data just as any other a11 rom use pattern instead of pin and it will decrypt data in twrp. About the bug, The only two I have found is the double tap to wake which I posted the fix to using elemental kernel manager or any kernel manager that lets you activate double tap to wake, and the gboard bug when using hide gesture bar which will leave a space at the bottom and it's not present if you use other keyboards like swift. Besides that it's solid and working great been running it's for days, now I'm running the devs new evo x build which has tons of goodies.

Work very good faceunlock.. i Love it. Ist a TG Group available die Updates?

Great ROM. Can decrypt data with latest fbev2 twrp
What Gapps work with this? This is only the 2nd rom I've seen for this phone without Gapps baked in. The other was lineage with micro G. I was under the impression Gapps had to be baked in to get it to work on our device. I may be completely over thinking it, just wanted to ask for clarification just in case.

same here, love the ROM by the way...thanks for your hard work
Like the ROM so far. Thanks for the great work.
But the screen sometimes doesn't turn on. I took a log.
Also the raise to wake, raise to ambient and double tap to ambient are broken for me.
Also the back gesture vibration feels like double vibration. Which doesn't feel great imo.
And it would be nice to have color profile options like wide AMOLED gamut.
But again thanks for the work and your efforts.
Edit: screen turn on problem usually occurs with dt2w and sometimes with power button as well
Does this ROM pass SafetyNet? (Or can I make it do so?)

I only used it for a about an hour (while flashing a zillion ROMs to see what they look and feel like). It was as good as any other (ie, no obvious issue or problem, during the short period that I had it).
However, I must have been very impressed by it, because I made a backup of it (I didn't make a backup of any other, save the stock MIUI).
Dude, the custom ROM is freaking awesome, the best battery life i have seen so far, buttery smooth, and it is the smoothest ROM I have tried for games, I have tried Conquer OS, Arrow OS, Paranoid OS, Evolution X, Havoc, Android 12 beta 4 and 3, Corvus and PixelPlusUI, but AOSPK is the best of all.
Thanks for this great ROM mate.
Forgive my ignorance. Is it necessary or a good idea to unlock (Mi unlock) the device first? I just got my device this morning. First device not running Android One in my case. Appreciate your help.

thanks for this great rom, working flawlessly so far!
i have a question about something that happened during flash. The same red colored messaged showed up on the screen saying something similar to "unable to mount cache" or something like that. Should i reflash the rom or is there no problem?
edit: fixed by wiping cache through twrp
another question tho. is there a way to auto accept pin code when unlocking screen? there's nothing in screen lock options. miui had this and i'm finding this to be very annoying

That's actually a convenience feature of Miui, but since i'm using fingerprint so there's no need for auto log in anyway.
Btw does anyone knows a way to access Android/data? My favourite app to manage files is X-plore and new AOSP roms seems to restricted this app from accessing Android/data. Miui don't have this problem.
I already know many apps that can do that like Root Explorer but i kinda wanna stick with X-plore.
Also i'd love it if you could get rid of the restriction in the first place.
Interesting, will follow this project too since it have vanilla. Is possible to have a list of system apps installed in the vanilla version? It have the two tap to wake up issue too? SD card work or i'm forced to format it to be recognized?
I'm on vanilla ArrowOS atm, need really to install MIUI stock before flash it or i can simply flash over ArrowOS and then format data? Just wondering if is mandatory the MIUI and TWRP installation (since MIUI will overwrite TWRP with stock revovery). Thank you mate for your work.

Check permissions for X-plore. I added "files & media" manually. I'm not sure if this is enough, since I already granted access to data/ folder and X-plore can browse without this permission.
Hello,i am experiencing laggy scrolling in the play store and in chrome, and sometimes in the settings menu and in the ui in general,i ve not tweaked anything besides installing magisk, also tried 2 other roms and did not have this problem, battery life is the best on this one,but the scrolling issue is a big annoying,it feels like its not hardware accelerated, any way i can enable smooth scrolling myself or something like that?

If you already got a custom recovery (TWRP for example) installed, you can skip this step.
1. Download the vendor file from here and the Evolution ROM from here.
2. Boot into TWRP Recovery.
3. Flash the vendor file.
4. Wipe cache and dalvik
5. Flash the Evolution ROM.
6. Format Data, be sure you format data and not just wipe.
7. Reboot to recovery.
The step to Format Data is necessary in some cases where you come from a different ROM which does have a different file system.

Is front camera working? And thank you for the help is there any other way I can contact you directly like telegram or Instagram?
I want this A12 Badly but feom yesterday night I was fixing my bootlooping device and it's working fine On Evo-X 5.9.3 but front xamera not working
clean flash on your first install. i will release updates often for the first few weeks as more and more features are getting ported to android 12, and when i release those updates you should be able to dirty flash them will make a telegram channel that will notify when i update the rom, but whenever you download from the google drive link you will be downloading the latest version.

join the telgram support group linked in the post and i can help you there. you probably just need to do a clean flash. only dirty flash if you are coming from my builds, and since this is the first one ive released you should only clean flash
The camera doesn't seem to work at all. Google Camera is installed as a system app and in the play store an update is available.
However when I try to install the update, it fails everytime. Also installing the apk fails everytime.

disable the google camera system app and install a modded version from here. most of them work but i find BSG to be the best. if you want an open source camera there are some on the play store and maybe on fdroid. i will try to include a working camera like snap cam on a future build.
After clean ROM, recovery and firmware flash, fingerprint unlock is not working, it's saying "Hold a little longer" even though I holding it all the time. Rest looks smooth and stable, SafetyNet, L1, all cameras (BSG version here) too.

Hey buddy, I got some questions about this ROM, can you help me?
1- Cameras, are both working OK?
2- Fingerprint, does it work with screen off?
3- Features, does it have "lift to wake" and "long press on volume buttons to switch music tracks"?
Thanks!

I'm very pleased with this ROM. Thank you!
I came from ArrowOS 11.0 and did a dirty flash; without wiping cache/dalvik. I installed ArrowOS with Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_11.02.2020.zip and did that again on this Rom. The only thing I would like is to get rid off that horizontal line at the bottom of the screen. You can see it at the picture. Anyone an idea? Thanks!

It might work, but stick with OP steps, those 110% WORK, but up to you. I gave up on TWRP when A/B partitions came out and chose to just stick with and use stock ROM recovery. That will always work, TWRP, maybe not so much, IDK, it might, but you wont get the same type of help if you choose your own path (TWRP).
Also, just an FYI on nomenclature, this isn't firmware, but ROM, firmware contains all partitions, drivers, ETC., this is just the OS (ROM).
Thank good bro. Please you can create a version same this version V9, but face id use camera, same same this version 7.2 so you made ( https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=333516). Because i not enough money to buy the normal 4xl, i just enough to buy one no face id. Thank you for your time

Interesting, this is new to me (unable to scan face for a PX4), what type of pixel 4 XL is it then? Or are there hardware issues I missed? I cant comment on this fix (I am not the dev here) but I might be able to help you once I know the scope of work.
@putzwon, I have used this OS (ROM) since Friday, and thoroughly testing EVERYTHING! WOW, I am literally floored at how well EVERYTHING works!!
I have NO ISSUES, NO BUGS, NO SHOWSTOPPERS, nada. Even Now Playing works, I am floored by all of this! It is amazing, and I rarely say that about a ROM (with no bugs also being reported - at the same time), and as I noted earlier, in the past, cRdroid wasn't great for me (random bugs, and/or missing features I rely on). NOT this version, this version IS GREAT FOR ME, I have EVERY SINGLE possible tweak I want/need/use, PLUS functional services / RIL (Radio Interface Layer) I.E. CALLs/TXT/MMS, PLUS no bugs, or FCs, or anything that would keep me away!
Normally, I use LOS, and LOS only (while testing all other ROMs for users and myself), but always landing back with LOS, not this time! I am STICKING WITH cRdroid for the foreseeable future, it is my DailyDriver and will remain so until something changes (but doubtful at this point)!! I have everything I need, baked right into the ROM, so I don't even need my LSPosed modules (other than SafetyNetFix once ROOT'ng)!
EXTREMELY WELL DONE and THANK YOU FOR THIS ROM!!!! For the rest of XDA users, this ROM WORKS! It works EXTREMELY WELL, is bug-free (from my extensive testing and standpoint). I haven't found any bugs yet (not a single one)!

Yes, this is a type of 4XL, it's cheaper to 20% .
Installed it yesterday and almost everything is working perfectly. The only feature that seems to be missing Soli which is a shame since it's a fun novelty.
best rom ever love you
thaaanks
Thanks for the rom. Perhaps anyone could advice me if there is an easy switch from LOS 20 to this rom? If possible I'd like to avoid installing all apps again ... including the "security" features for a couple of sensitiv apps like bank apps.
Perhaps someone knows if restoring a swiftbackup would work.
Thanks

it is easy
i do it everytime I flash a custom rom
you need to root your phone using magisk
then instal
Migrate - ROM backup 5.0.1from play store
open it and take a full backup of your installed apps
copie this backup to your laptop
and after flashing this perfect rom
copie the backup from the laptop to the phone
and root the phone again
and instal
Migrate flasherfrom play store
open it
and flash the file you backed up
this way you will have allll your apps including your banking apps with all your data
you will not have to instal anything twise...
good luck
it is easy
don't worry..

I'm having some issue wherein some apps just wouldn't start. They don't crash but it seems they just get force closed/killed immediately. I tried doing a MatLog but I'm not sure if the information is enough. I hope you can help solve the problem. Thank you!
Edit: Forgot to mention I only flashed Firmware, ROM, NikGApps, Magisk, and DFE

probably because your data partition is in f2fs, you need to format it to ext4 or wait for the next release

I'm on ext4. I reflashed everything I'll observe if it happens again. Seems like a problem with gms because after clearing data of Play Services, I can start those apps but it stops working again after some time.
Hi, Great ROM, but I found some issues:
- In Wallpapers and Styles section of settings there are many wallpaper palettes (in groups of 4 per page), but all palettes on one given page, when selected, look exactly the same as the first one (others are broken)
- Face Unlock activates on Screen On, even when set to "on swipe up"
- UDFS custom animations are misaligned
- Sometimes "UDFS when screen off" doesn't work even when it's enabled
- Clock in QS is cut off above size 22 dp
Hello everybody.
First of all congratulations for the work.
I have installed according to the guide ROM, NikGApps and DFE.
I have a problem, When I connect the device to the computer, the drive appears, but I can't access the internal memory.
Any ideas?
Thanks
I've been waiting a long time for the return of Crdroid! Thank you!

I have the same small problems, without a doubt once they fix that this will be my header rom, the amount of customization it has is incredible, also, I would like to have the option for the tiles to vibrate when touching them, after that, nothing more, all excellent, more optimization I suppose
@firebird11, very nice ROM. Great battery life. Using your build for 2 weeks now and didn't face any problems. Bedankt!

Thanks, but I know how to sideload... I'm not asking, but saying that sideloading doesn't work with newer builds. I've tested it with the first build and that worked right away.
Hello everyone, one question, does the rom have any important errors? I'm thinking of installing it but it's a headache to configure everything and copy my files and I wanted to ask those who have the rom installed
It would be nice if they updated the information here so that many of us are better informed than by Telegram
Thanks
