Current Shipping Dates? Weirdness - Google Pixel 5 Guides, News, & Discussion

After waffling between a 4a 5G and a 5 I finally pulled the trigger on a 5 during the Black Friday sale for $50 off. I had also hoped by waiting that Google would resolve the screen glue issue. Order date was Nov 30. Retiring my old 2 XL, but would have kept it for another year if updates kept coming.
My listed shipping dates have always been Dec 29-30. From time to time I've checked the store for current shipping dates, and the phone has actually been out of stock for a couple weeks, but they did have stock for Fi and Verizon with almost immediate shipping. I last checked yesterday.
Early this morning I received notice from my credit card company that Google finally charged my card. My shipping dates are still listed as Dec 29-30. I decided to check if the phone was back in stock, and if so, what current shipping dates are. Yup, back in stock, shipping dates for current orders listed as Dec 16-19. During the time it took to write this post, shipping dates changed and just now listed as Dec 23-25. Both these dates are obviously earlier than my listed shipping dates.
I suspect they just received a new batch from manufacturing and my phone is about to ship, but the changing dates are a bit weird and I've never experienced that before. I'm usually a first day, first minute orderer for my Pixels and I'm used to being in the first shipments.
Anyone else get charged overnight? Did your shipping dates get updated?

A few months ago I bought a 4a pre-order and I got stuck with a later shipment than many people. I was not too worried and it arrived when it was supposed to but I also didn't get the charge until it was ready to go like usual.
If it's coming FedEx ground they're probably calculating that in right now -- the real issue is once the label is made and sent to FedEx, if that's today, then by tomorrow you should know what the real ETA is

are they doing USPS? lots of people been getting delay on USPS shipment.

I did standard (free) shipping. Who knows? I'm waiting for Google Store support chat right now. I started at #169 in line. It's going down at a rate of about 1 per minute. Sheesh. Current shipping dates for new orders showing Dec 25-29. My order is still just showing "Ordered".

I had a similar issue but found out some great answers from a customer service rep. I also was quoted a late December delivery when I placed my order in late November. Mine shipped early because their new shipments for fi arrived early.
This is how it goes.... its crazy.
They will temporarily charge your card if you move up in the order "queue". They will then refund the money into your account a few days later after they verify the funds are available. This means the order is getting ready to get processed finally.
You will finally be charged the due amount when the order finally goes to the warehouse for shipping.
They wont permanently charge your account until the phone is sent to shipping. If they haven't refunded the money into your account I would bet that your phone ships very soon.
I was getting tired of the late shipping times and lack of answers so i created a reddit ticket. My phone shipped 24 hours later. Give that a try if things dont go well.
Hope this makes sense.

Over an hour later and I am #82 in line. Had to plug in the laptop!

Finally had a chat.....answer was basically, yeah you're right, newer orders are shipping before yours. We can cancel your $50 off order and you can re-order at full price for earlier shipping. Uh....no....I'll wait, and just stew about it. That's a pretty good summary of the chat. Not too happy.

So.....interesting developments this morning.

The link took me to Google Pay which showed nothing, but when I checked the Store, I did, in fact, have a $60 credit, which expires on 12/31/2021.
Not only that.....today I received notice that my order has shipped through Fedex, with an arrival date of 12/21/2020. It's shipping from Carol Stream, IL. In the past all my phones have shipped from about 20 miles away from me.
So I have gone from being very unhappy and questioning my loyalty to Google products to being very happy. I think I am going to use my credit for a Pixel Stand, but maybe a new Nest Audio, but I've got so many Google Homes (full size and minis) and Chromecast products that I really don't need anything but the Stand. I also suspect the Stand, which is WAY overpriced, will go on sale again relatively soon. So we'll see.
In any case, I wanted to be fair to Google. I'm very happy with the way they handled this.

T-Mobile.com Orders: Is yours "still processing"?

I ordered mine early on 11/1 or 11/2. Mine still shows as "being processed." Just wondering if anyone elses is showing this, if they ordered through t-mobile.com (upgrade)??

Yes, mine has done the same thing. I have contacted customer service several times but they cannot tell me other than it hasn't shipped yet. I wonder if they are having problems with the website updating? I sure hope so. My confirmation email said the estimated delivery was today, and online it says 11/8. If it hasn't shipped yet, I don't see how they will make 11/8 with standard shipping. If you find anything out, let me know!
Did you order with the express shipping? I did so yesterday AM, and it showed processing - waiting on shipment all day. This AM however, it has been shipped and is set for delivery tomorrow.

I ordered around noon yesterday - express shipping. The UPS tracking number doesn't show an ETA yet, but shows "Ground" shipping. I hear T-Mo does this if UPS can guarantee that the "3-day Express Shipping" will be met. Living in NY has its merits, as Ground can happen in 1 day.
I chose regular shipping on either 11/1 or 11/2 and its "still processing" with eta deliver date for 11/8, but in the email it said deliver date of today...

It should be shipped soon with express shipping. I ordered on Wednesday AM and will get it tomorrow.
Mine is "pending shipping" -- I ordered early morning yesterday. It is set to be delivered 11/10 I thought they would ship out the phone the day I ordered, but apparently they take longer to ship out ground shipping orders.
(Ground shipping -- I was told express shipping could not guarantee the phone coming on Friday, but rather guarantee was for Monday.)
I ordered on the phone yesterday. Called 611 today and said order number, as I didn't have one. The recording came back and gave me a tracking #. Scanned this morning by UPS and due here on Monday.

I am at work also, but I did the live chat a little bit ago. The rep said that she has seen it happen where the online shipping doesn't get updated, and even if it says processing, it could have shipped. I don't know if that is true or not, but I guess we will see. Other than that, I got the canned answer that based on ordering 11/1, I will get it no later than 11/10.
My status is 'complete' according to T-Mo. UPS still shows that only billing info has been received on 11/3 with no date of shipment. I wonder what that means?

UPS has been notified of the shipment. When they pick it up it the next scan will say origin scan, which should be sometime today.
I ordered mine through customer retention on 11/3 at 6:15am and was told they would ship it out express. I called in to check the status this morning and it is still processing and they now show it GROUND. I complained and they stuck to their plan saying it would be there in 3 business days. I called in again about 3 hours later and was told to check it on line with the order number. I did and it shows a delivery date of 11/10 and it was sent GROUND. First they denied me the red color and now they are playing games with the shipping. I am ready to call corporate. i have been with t mobile over 13 years and this is the third phone in a row shipped to me that went ground after telling me they were shipping express. Either UPS is ripping them off by shipping ground instead of express or T mobile is just cost cutting and wants to make the customer feel like they are being treated royally. This really puts a damper on the excitement of the new phone. When a business starts telling you one thing and doing another then they have lost all care for the customer and their customer relations awards are bogus.

When you talked to the rep on the phone, when did he mention the phone would be delivered by with express shipping? Mine told me with express he could guarantee the phone would arrive on Monday at the latest and if it didn't arrive on Monday my shipping charge would be refunded. I, of course, denied the express shipping because if I was going to have to wait the weekend I may as wait it out for ground shipping.
Now, it turns out my phone is set to be delivered on Monday with ground, which makes me think express would have delivered by Friday, so I am not a happy camper.
I ordered through retention also yesterday AM. While it was pending all of yesterday on the check order page on their website, it showed expected delivery on 11/10 - must be a default date without regard to actual shipping method.
As soon as I checked first thing this AM, it showed shipped, with next day (Friday) delivery.

Just got a message from t mobile stating the phone has not been shipped yet and is due to arrive on 11/11/10. I was promised express to arrive within 3 days and according to the rep Friday the 5th at the latest. Upon calling in again I was informed that it was never meant to be shipped express but only ground even though all of the past 4 orders were supposedly sent express. Of course UPS shows ground for the last 4 orders. What a cluster f**k. This just sets the tone for the phone, I am ready to call and cancel the phone order and talk to other carriers. What really upsets the applecart is that they denied me the red color when I called in and when I called back they said red was no problem but they could not place the order until the first order was cancelled in their system and that could take up to 48 hours. The retention rep than told me that you will have the phone by Friday maybe even tomorrow so I declined to cancel and place the red order. I decided to just let things be and now the phone is 7 days away and not even the color I prefered. I am reading threads in this forum where locations did not have a selection of colors even the corporate stores. You would think that their new flagship phone would be well stocked with all colors available and everything ready to go on launch but NOT T Mobile.
Edit Just got online with T Mobile and sure enough still showing processing and delivery date of 11/11/10. I should have kept the G2 would have avoided all the hassle even though the G2 had issues. Does anyone know of the corporate phone number for T Mobile-Just spoke with Customer retention and was informed that it was processed ground even though it was ordered express. Now showing a delivery date of 11/12 and they cannot tell me why it has not been shipped. The rep offered to take $50 off of my bill. She than said T mobile paid for the shipping and I said I would have been happy to pay for the shipping to avoid all of this hassle. What mess!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone else experiencing this type of clown act.
I finally called Customer Loyalty and the rep said that they just switched warehouses and that many orders have been getting lost. He said that my order was lost and would never ship. He was not able to cancel the order but was able to put a note in my account to allow me to upgrade "again" at a T-Mobile store. I suggest anyone who has been stuck in a "being processed" call Customer Loyalty and get it resolved...

I ordered my dock on 1/5/2011, so I guess that I shouldn't expect anything soon.
It looks as if they are using drop shipping for the docks. They must wait until they get enough orders to get a volume discount from the supplier. Then the supplier ships them to the individual buyer. They don't even touch the docks, but handle the sale and make a profit.
I'm with the group who got emails for the 26th. I wonder where they are now. I keep hoping to see another update.

... or the lack of?
I ordered mine dock on 1/3/11, order was processed and my card was charged on 1/5/11; got 2 emails to confirm that.
Since then, two + weeks later, their web site states: Order Processing(?)
No response to two of my emails, no one picks up their phone, goes to VM rightaway and no calls back from them.
Was anybody able to speak to a live person there or gotten a response to their emails?
I am sorry to hear about everyone's troubles with receiving the dock. It sucks when you pay for something and then having to wait for what seems like forever.
If you guys get tired of waiting for the one you've already paid for from this company, there are a couple of guys in the gTab forums that have ordered in bulk and are sitting on some right now. And, at least one of them ships the same day he gets the payment.
Just thought this was worth mentioning.

I ordered 2 docks from MeriMobiles on the 26th of December as well. I sent them an e-mail last week for an update and finally received a response today. I also finally received a tracking number that the package was shipped on the 15th but that it could take 10 - 14 days to receive.
I wonder how much business this company has lost due to its lousy customer service. I was going to file a dispute with Paypal if I hadn't heard something by tomorrow.

Otterbox Commuter order through CellularAccessory.com

Thought I'd post a little seller review for CellularAccessory.com where I have placed an order for the Otterbox Commuter case for my HTC Inspire 4G.
I placed the order back on April 21st. I ran across this site while using Google's shopping link when looking for one of these. They had it for the best price at the time for $20.95 w/ $3 s/h. Thought I was getting a decent deal at the time. (Shipping via USPS, probably not the best decision in hindsight.)
Their website indicated it was in stock.
I placed the order that night, got an email the next day on April 22nd that the order went through, indicating that it had an estimated ship date of April 22nd (Friday). No tracking number in this email, I expected one the same day or possibly even the following Monday. Still haven't received an updated email with this information.
Today is May 1st and I have yet to receive the case nor an update email from them.
I obviously will be calling them tomorrow morning to inquire about my purchase, but in hindsight, I would have spent the typical extra $10 (most sites sell this case for $30) to have gotten this case in a timely fashion.
Regardless if this thing shows up from them tomorrow or not, I will not be doing business with this seller again.

The same thing happened to me. on the site it said in stock and my follow up email stated back ordered will ship in 1-2 weeks. I wrote an email back stating that if it wasn't in stock then I would like a refund. I never got a response. When I checked my paypal account the ammount had been taken out. If I don't get it this week I will be contacting them on this matter. They will take care of it.
They sent me a reply and stated that it was clearly marked as backordered. BS, I would have never ordered it. I'm done with them.

How was your order process like?

I ordered my OPO yesterday around 21 hours ago, and my order status still says processing.
How was your order process like, and do you guys know when it might ship?
My order took around 55 hours before it was shipped. I'm in Washington, but mine was shipped via USPS Priority (2-day) and I got it on time. Super straight forward for me.
It's normal for the status to say processing for a while, in some cases it actually stays that way until the device is delivered. My personal experience was that update ordered last Friday, the status remained as process until Monday or Tuesday, then it changed to complete. The device was actually delivered to Illinois on Wednesday. Now I'm waiting for it to be forwarded to me in Australia.

Got mine today. Order status said "processing" for about 5 days. Then it changed to completed and took about 2 days to get to me. I'm in Europe, express delivery. Was shipping was faster than advertised and the delivery guys (dhl) were fantastic. Got a text this morning saying the package was in transit and I should give then a call if I wasn't planning on being at the address I gave them. Did and they gladly went where I was at the time.
So all went well.

I still haven't received it yet even though DHL have had the delivery label since Friday 18th July and are waiting on instruction from OnePlus to collect the item for delivery to me. I'm not getting any response from them via their ticket system so I'm waiting until Monday and if it's not here by then I'll be filing a complaint via PayPal for my money back.
The kicker is I've heard of people ordering on Sunday 20th July and getting their phones on the 22nd with 'Normal Delivery'

It was very quick for me, I ordered on the 15th of July, got the email that it has been shipped on the 17th and actually got the phone the very next day, a day earlier than the expected delivery date on the USPS website.

yesterday around 19:15 CET i got mail that my order was shipped, and got tracking number to see where my mail is
so that leaves in total 6 days until shipment, 2 days pending, 4 days processing, and ETA for delivery is 29.07. in address i want
so just be patient, you will get your device, and also, some users reported that they got their device while order was still in processing
if you want answer about your order, submit a ticket and ask what is the sitaution with your order, is it shipped, or still in processing

The issue I have is that DHL are waiting on OnePlus to tell them to deliver it. They've had the initial order submission since last Friday but won't send it until told to. And this is 'Express Delivery' as well...
Apparently my order is being 'expedited' but they don't know how long it'll take so can't give me a delivery date yet
Hope this doesn't come off too much as trolling, but the contrast between what I'm reading here, and my own experience ordering domestically (in China), is comical.
I had the phone in my hands less than 24 hours (22 maybe?) after clicking "buy" on their website.
No invites. Although they do limit buying to Tuesday and Friday mornings @10am, so I had to do the order from work.
One of the handful of benefits of living in China, I suppose...

you live in CHINA, where you can buy that phone normally, we live in rest of the world where we need invite and mail forwarding systems to get the phone delivered to us
because of that you got phone in 1 day
I ordered on a Monday, it didn't say shipped until Tuesday night and it was delivered on Thursday with a signature confirmation with USPS.

VG order process so far
So far my order has been very smooth ... received my invite at around 2pm EST on7/24; ordered at around 9pm EST on 7/24; was in processing until around 9-10pm CA time 7/25 (guessing a little here); left LA at 11pm CA time on 7/25. Shipped Priority Mail, sig. conf. (altho I have heard USPS doesn;t actually get a sig.? .. anybody confirm either way?)
So I have to say VG so far .... and WAYYYY better than the N4 fiasco. I know people have really been down on the invite system, but it does some good things too and it is Ok as I am reasonably patient and have a working phone so it's all good .... cheers

It took one day to come to the state Processing, but till know there has nothing changed.
Should it change to Shipping completed or on some countries it just switch to Completed when it was transfered to the local transfer Business(DHL or Post.at)?

When will samsung start shipping Note 20 Ultra

I have heard Samsung previously shipping pre-orders earlier then release date.
When you guys think we will start receiving ours?
Launch day is 21st August (certainly in the UK and US) they usually ship by courier the previous day, so expect a tracking number on the 20th.
Samsung used to release it a day earlier (and a week earlier in the distant past) if you ordered direct from them, but I haven't seen this being the case for a long time now.
In the USA, they use FedEx. If you create a FedEx account you can monitor inbound shipments.
Usually, you will find these pending well ahead of release. Accessories are usually 1 pound and the phone 2 pounds.
Also when reserving with a credit card there is usually a hold upon preordering. Make sure you see this AND check your order status within 24 hours. If the card rejects the hold for any reason, (Samsung) will CANCEL your order. This happened to me because I used an expired card. (duh) I did not check to find the order CANCELED until a few days later and the shipping date slipped. This was the S20 Ultra. I don't think these phones are going to sell out that fast (or at all) you know with what's going on in the world, right?
In any case, usually these FedEx shipments show up early. Typically they will start moving right around when the charge is placed on the card. When a shipper creates a shipment in their system and it posts to FedEx you will see it even though no package has been shipped. It just shows something is going on with your order. Sometimes you will see several tracking numbers with some getting canceled. Perfectly normal.
I suspect some activity by mid week (this week) and movement by the time next weekend is over. Some may get theirs a day or two early.
Apple likes to troll users by handing packages off to the courier with instructions NOT to deliver before (release date). So you see it scheduled for delivery on a Tuesday (release day Friday in this example) and when Tuesday comes the tracking is updated with instructions to hold until Friday. I hate that!
My LED wallet case already shipped and is supposed to arrive today. I had a pending charge on my CC that disappeared yesterday. I called CS and was told the order is still moving forward, but I am checking Order Status on Sammy's website every day. I'll probably see the charge back on the CC before I get the FedEx shipping notice.
I ordered from Samsung in Canada and they sent an email it would ship August 17th.

My case shipped from Irving , Tx. Not sure where the Ultra will originate. Where do Canada orders originate for shipping?
Samsung ships all orders for Canada from Ontario and BC, you never know where your order will come from.

My emailed receipt is date 8/5 at 12:30 pm but it has no estimated ship date that I can see. When I check Samsung Shop on my phone, it says ships by 8/19.
i received a shipping notice from FedEx on 8/11, with an expected shipping date and delivery date of Aug 17 and Aug 19, respectively. FYI, i verified this notice is tied to my pre-order number issued by Samsung. All of this is subject to change until the device is physically shipped. (the Samsung shipping location is 8.5 miles and 16 minutes from my home. . in the past, items from that location have arrived next day and other 2 days later).
My FedEx account is now showing a shipment from Samsung to be delivered on the 19th from Coppell. 4lb box so I guess it will be with the extra items I ordered with the preorder bonus.
I just ordered mine yesterday, so my order is still "created" not processed. But it still shows an expected ship date of August 19th.
I know last year I got my Note 10+ a day early. Hopefully this one arrives a day or two early as well, but who knows. As long as I receive it on the 21st, I'll be happy.
Does anyone know when the carriers start shipping?
FedEx says ship 17th, arrival on 19th. From past experience, how accurate is that? I need to juggle my schedule round to WFH that day in order to sign for the phone. Just want to make sure that will indeed be THE day before I go to the trouble! (shipping from TX, am in PA, if it matters)

You can redirect pickup to work or other places like Walgreens.
I've done that with Walgreens before, just stop by, show ID and they pull it out of a locker and had it to you.
Takes the guessing game out of it and when you get home you have it in hand.

I'm already feeling sick on Wednesday lol
For T-mobile I have pre-ordered the S series phone and this is the first note. Typically we would see cards charged Thirsday the week before release. Then Friday and Saturday they stage for shipping and let phones go to UPS on Monday. Sometimes I would get delivery on Tuesday but usually would be Wednesday before release. There shipping facility is out of Kentucky and you can pretty much map the route using flight aware to determine what flight it will take.
Just got my watch 3 delivered. I still won't be home till next weekend. Phone still shows estimated ship on 17th with delivery on 19th. Based on weight (4lbs) I am thinking the buds live, case, and UV sanitizer are with it as well.
My Ultra 5G will be delivered on or before the 29th of August 2020 as per my telco provider. This will be my second version of the Note and my second time using a Samsung mobile phone. My last Galaxy Notes were the Note 2.
