Huawei use in their phones HiSilicon Kirin CPU.
Port is only possible when base rom device has same CPU as mi5s+ ( mi5s+ has snapdragon 821 )

Hi,
Not entirely true.
Some phones uses Kirin.
Others do you Snapdragons SoC.
But I think MIUI and EMUI are close : they both want to mimic iOS.
I don't see the point in porting eMUI when you already have MIUI

So I'm a noob and very much interested in android development. I want to port a rom to Honor 4x che1-l04 but I am unable to find a devices with similar hardware specs so that I can use its rom. Can anyone help me out? Is it okay if I use any qualcomm based rom as my port rom?

If you have kirin 620 chipset you can't. If it has same qualcom and other specs similiar to honor 4x too then you can try to flash.

Can the rom be ported to our device? Because some xiaomi phones are getting them
I don't think it can be ported, as the rom is for snapdragon 625 processor, and devices with same processors are getting it. Mi4i runs on snapdragon 615.
i'm trying to port stock samsung nougat rom for s5 snapdragon model
do you know any samsung devices that have the same cpu 801 and got the nougat update or what devices with another cpus that are compatible with snapdragon 801

None of SD801 yet. There was one tablet at SD6XX, and upon several try, it was not possible to boot to SD800 (note3). But you can try either way. Check tablets that got nougat update. It was the only one "port"able to SD800 (very similar to SD801).

i did a research on various devices and i think the best one for s5 is the c9 pro
because there was many roms based on c9 pro with android marshmallow which got ported to s5
and the c9 pro got the nougat update so i was wondering why the devs didn't think about it or is it me who is missing sth important?
however i'm gonna ask you to do me a favour Can you give a guide about how to port the c9 pro stock nougat rom to s5 please

You started like "I want to port". From "I want to port" to actually porting will take about 2-3 years... if you study hard

Hello, I'm sorry if this quite hard to understand since english is not my main language and I'm typing on a broken, hard-to-touch screen phone. Can someone please port EMUI 9.0 rom to Redmi Note 6 Pro?
I know it sound unnormal for porting rom for Kirin chip to a Snapdragon chip phone.
It just that I want to expeirence the EMUI rom, btw EMUI not HarmonyOS.
