Dual Sim + Micro SD - Huawei Mate 9 Accessories

Do you know some accessories that you can use to have dual sim + micro sd at the same time? Is it possible?

Lmao

Actually you can, I saw a few done that before on other phones but require some hands on if you are game enough

You can make a DIY hack with the second SIM, removing card. I have it in my mate and it's working well.

I remember using similar concepts for dual SIMs in my old Nokia feature phones and they worked well. They were quite flimsy so you could have one last just a couple of days or virtually forever, but they did work. I remember tucking the protruding bit behind the phone cover. Ah the memories.

nope i mod my sim n sd card

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kAeF3BdHlw
I suggest using a 2000W hair dryer on the plastic side at one corner. Hold with two tweezers or long nose plier. The adhesive is strongest at the edges and top and bottom, short side of the simcard. Once you can pry back one corner it becomes easier. Don't force as you'd tear the chip/contacts. Also don't hold to the hair dryer for more than a few seconds...move the card away, peel then back to hair dryer again.
All the best.
Update: There is a big potential the simchip and memory card may jam and you cannot extract the sim tray.

If you prefer Ebay:
http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Hybrid-Dual-...-Extender-2-Nano-Micro-SIM-Adap-/282397798859

I was made 2 sim + SD on my old S7 Edge.....Slots are the same with Mate 9...I just move my sims + SD...work perfect.

Expand memory

Hi there! I'm looking to Thu phone to change my old hd2, anyway the fact of non micro sd slot is a bad point. Is anyone find out if the internal memory is obtained with a hidden sd inside the phone that could be changed somehow by disassembly the phone??
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA
i doubt theres any hidden sd inside lol, otherwise they would have changed to design to allow that sd to be removed
settle for 16gb and use the cloud. Or get another phone with expandable memory

So your saying there could be just a removable SD card in the phone ??
i thought HTC would have used better hardware than that lol..
I for one do not want to disassemble my phone just to find out..

Umm you actually got 25 GB with your One S..as in Gigabytes...just thought you should know.
But for reference, the 500 free mb is when someone signs up for dropbox using your screen name as a reference.

Yes the HTC hd7 had a standard class 2 16 gab micro SD card that u could remove and put a 32gb SD card only problem was u had to completely diss assemble the phone to get at it

i am shocked at that !!
if that is the case, Surely making a slot on the casing wouldnt have been a difficult job.. Then there would be expandable memory...
yeah but someone has to disassemble the phone first to check if there really is a micro sd just like the HD7..
i dare you to do it
This has more to do with control than anything else. I hate to say it but the iphone doesn't have expandability and as a phone its done just fine and now also has a cloud system. The SD card slot is fading away I think. Most of us have wifi in most of the places we go generally so using the cloud isn't all bad but it isn't all good either. But just think when was the last time you used a floppy drive? Not implementing a sd card slot and removable battery has given way to an elegant design. I think most of us can deal. Change.

Not really Sd card perfs(or class 20 ), I don't think we can have a doubt that's it's integrated flash...

It's possible to expand memory with micro-usb to USB support.
It's portable as well.

[Updated] Working Inductive Charging Case for One X!

Update: Working!
Finally got everything I needed to get this baby up and running. Didn't even have to modify the case to get it to fit so it worked out better then my Nexus mod. Poor quality video because it was taken on my Nexus S, my best camera is my One X which is clearly in use
http://youtu.be/uEFLlHVcCV0
Old:
I managed to get a working mod similar to this one here ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1502812&highlight=inductive ) with my nexus when I was using that. But now that I've switched to the One X I was wondering if anyone had attempted it yet. I'm a little too scared to just start testing different pins to see which ones actually charge the phone

Excellent work man, I never would have thought to use the pogo pins and the pre magnet together like that. I actually just picked up a Pre 3 with a touchstone, so I'll probably be whipping something similar together soon.

Kickstarter backed microSD card reader!

Just received my kickstarter backed project, microSD Card reader. Project cost me about $12
Www.meenova.com
This adapter allows you to plug an sdcard into your phone microSD port and transfer/read files.
I have to say this thing came out really nice, the blue light was a nice touch. So far its worked on everything I've plugged it into (galaxy nexus, nexus 7, Gs4, RAZR M)
Package contained:
MicroSD to microUSB reader
MicroUSB to USB adapter for PC
Keychain clip
Here are some pictures for you guys

As long as you have otg support, which I think you need to be rooted for on the nexus 4, but don't quote me.
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 4
Nice one, cheers for posting this, ordered one mainly to use with nexus 7 but this could be great at transfering stuff quickly to my S4 and the advantage of being small and unobtrusive like an otg cable and flash drive.
This could really change my mind about getting the upcoming nexus 5.Although i think they're great phones I thought i'd never get one because of the poor storage and no sd slot but as the extra space i need would be for music files i would only need to plug it in when listening. rest of the time it would be on my keys.
My only concern is how secure and safe from knocks the sd card is when inside the reader and inside my pocket. I'm pretty forceful when dry humping bins and bollards when waitnig for buses. Can anyone comment on this? (The sd card safety not my dry humping?)

Hybrid double sim + SDcard adapter

I'm goin to Japan this summer and wanna buy a 3G SIM to use, without takin' out my SIM or my SD (memory for camera).
As someone tried this "mod"? Does it work?
I don't think you'll find anyone willing to risk damaging their $400 device just to avoid taking out a Sim that you probably can't use in Japan anyway. Just keep it in a safe place so you don't lose it and enjoy your trip! You should get some great photos with this camera while you are there.

There is a video how to place 2 sim and sd card simultaneously https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kAeF3BdHlw
Posted adapter works too, unfortunately I cannot find a link. The principle is the same as in the video, but there is a SIM card out of tray laying in the back of the phone or where is the adapter located.
I am using this hybrid 2 sim+sd card.
Only thing that you have to do is flat that nodge on sd card and everything else is simple as 1,2,3.

It does matter. Regular SIM card is thicker and have a bigger chip than the Nano SIM, many users reported, that regular SIM is not suitable for it.
