Accessories Z2 Pro from A to Z + rating - Lenovo Zuk Z2 Pro Accessories

Hello ZUK Z2 Pro owners,
I want to share my experiences with accessories for my ZUK Z2 Pro, like screen protector, case etc.
All my accessories bought @ Amazon.
Screen Protector:
IVSO Tempered Glass
ManufacturerNo. BCASE-ZUK-Z2-PRO-GH -> Rating: Rubbish! The corners of the glass didn't stick
TopAce® protective film -> Rating: Didn't cover the whole display (not screen)
ManufacturerNo. Film-Len Z2 Pro-Gq
BROTECT AirGlass flexible -> Rating: Perfect! Covers whole display (not screen)
EAN: 4251212766871
Case:
TopAce® TPU Case Crystal Clear
ProdNo. Cases-Len Z2 Pro-TPU-Clear -> Rating: Very nice case, fits perfect and looks very nice
Nillkin® Frosted Shield Case Black
EAN: 692048121485 -> Rating: Fits good and looks nice
Usb-Cables:
Anker PowerLine 1.8 m USB-C
ASIN: B01E9W8KYC -> Rating: Fits perfect with strong hold
DELOCK USB 3.1 Gen 2 USB-C
ASIN: B018C5F18U -> Rating: Very qualitative
USB power Supply:
Anker PowerPort+ 1 (Quickcharge 3.0)
ASIN: B017XBDBI6 -> Rating: Awesome! Changing this fast....wow

My quick charger won't stop buzzing so I think I will get the Anker.

I've got an Aukey PA-U31-IT with 4 ports and it's charging very fast without any problems. It's really important to choose the correct glass screen protector because I've got a nameless glass and it's not fitting well on the corners.

I just got the Topace clear case and now just realise it is the same one as you have.
I am also in Germany (although English).
Happy with this case, it fits well and ports are available and buttons work, doesn't add much thickness or weight and you can still see the phone

@ shaunydub
Have a small question to you.
Does this case smells extrem like plastic?
Do you think is a realy good quality product?
Iam looking also for this product.
Thanks for help....and greetings from germany too

Does anyone have a picture of the phone with the brotect screen protector? I got a different protector with my phone that looks like this:

I'm looking for a screen protector that covers the phone better, but I wonder what the brotect looks like, since the phone has rounded glass.

I bought a screen protection but have not used it.
Don't know if you guys noticed it, but the Z2 pro is sold with a screen protection already on the phone!
I still have it after 2 month and it does the job pretty well... So I am not I want to take it of for some third party one that might not fit so well.
Tapatalk with Zuk Z2 Pro

I bought this screen protect on aliexpress.
2.5D 0.3mm Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector For Lenovo ZUK Z2 PRO Toughened protective Film For Lenovo ZUK Z2 PRO.
It's rubbish!!! No not cover the entire screen that is illuminated. So you will see the border of the film in front of the icons.

This case is amazing!!! Very good quality and do not Slippery.
KAYKEE Full Coverage Series for Lenovo Zuk z2 Pro Super Sandstone Shield Soft TPU 5 colors

I read that the Brotect may fit well for the ZUK Z2 PRO but it's not water / oïl repellent and there are real user reviews telling it has a poor quality, you will get plenty tiny scratches quickly... Confirmed?
The quite more expensive NILLKIN H+ screen protector was the best choice (quality japanese glass with 99% clarity and water/oïl repellent / extra thin / soft touch / anti glare / ...) but it's permantely sold out everywhere and won't be produced again! Looking for an alternative with same features but without luck...
TPU cases are a good choice indeed (more efficient to protect in case of drop/shock).
I just bought the cheaper TPU Soft Gel Skin Back (in white) for only 1.68€ and free shipping.

I tried 2 different screen protectors for the zuk z2 pro. the one from brotect, whicht didn't fit the edges and felt terrible and one that was almost half a centimeter short on both sides...
Does anyone know of a tempered glass screen protector that fits the screen? I just found those with horrible reviews, which were all to narrow..
I've read in this thread that the Nillikin H+ would be the best choice but it seems that it isn't available anymore...
The cases avaibalbe on amazon are ok but I'd prefer a skin by dbrand or slickwraps..

Got the Brotect flexglas too today. But it didn't fit the screen. Both side are uncovered on the screen for more than a millimeter... So it looks really bad

can you use any usb-c cable on this? remember there was some issues on the early usb-c phones. I usually buy from aliexpress or dealextreme

For those looking for a decent screen protector, I got hold of this; it fits the screen just like the protective film that came with the phone, i.e, it covers pretty much all of it. Not tempered glass, but it certainly feels like such. Here's hoping it does the job on all fronts!: https://www.amazon.co.uk/ANTISHOCK-...words=ZUK+Z2+Pro+Screen+Protector+By+myShield

RhinoShield Crash Guard Bumper

So I emailed Evolutive Labs asking whether or not they were going to make a bumper for the Galaxy S6 like they make for the Iphone. I attached a screenshot of their response.
This is the website for the Iphone bumper: http://www.evolutivelabs.com/pages/crashguard
I am sporting this for my S6 with the front and back pet film protectors and I am very pleased! The pet films are somewhat finger print smudge proof at least a whole lot better than without for that matter. The bumper gives that extra added grip.
Does the Rhino Shield front film protector cover the entire screen, edge to edge with no halos?
It cover edge of screen to screen but not edge to edge of the entire glass. No halos that I have noticed

Would you take a picture of the front?
I really don't know if you can tell with the pic and the lighting but here you go. Maybe I can get better ones later

Thanks for sharing!
How is this bumper holding out? How you "accidently" drop the phone?
So I received the bumper and can say I'm also quite pleased. Aesthetically its no frills. It has a matte finish which helps with the grip, buttons mash well and ports cut out fine. I only got the bumper and not the whole front/back kit. I have not dropped it yet so I only have the girl on the video to go by.
I really would love to grab this but after shipping and whatnot it comes out to $40 CDN for a bumper . I wish they had a Canadian reseller.
Yea if you don't mind waiting a bit, the price will go down especially when the copycats start coming out.
I want to get this bumper but i cant decide if i want the protectors or not. Are they just standard PET protectors? I'd rather order SGP front/back PET films for $10. That would save $10 off the rhino combo itself.

I didn't use the front protector since I already had one, but the rear protector is no good in my opinion. The cutout for the camera and flash isn't big enough or something, which created a bubble between the two that I couldn't get rid of. I would save the extra $ if I had it to do over again.

Cool, thanks! I've seen pics of the ring around the lens but i've also seen some without so i'm not really sure why that is.
I was only concerned with the rear anyways. I have a Zagg HDX protector which is supposed to be up to 3x time impact protection on the front, so the extra $25 for the rear didnt make sense. I also have a Dbrand skin on the rear. I went ahead and ordered the bumper only.
Even for the bumper solely its quite expensive.

While this is true I think it's worth it to allow me to keep my phone as close to not having a case on it that I can, and still have really good protection. I hate having my phone covered up with a regular case.
Samsung s6 *****RHINOSHIELD ***** 5 STARS!
I've noticed some Samsung s6 users have questions regarding the Rhinoshield and I just wanted to let you all know my experience with this case.
- Rhinoshield only offers 2 colors. 1) Dark Blue and 2) White
- Since I have the Gold Platinum phone, I chose the white bumper
- Looks good and protects the bumpers 200 % (Please see video in Rhinoshield website)
http://www.evolutivelabs.com/collec...e-crash-guard-rhino-shield?variant=1315763137
- I also tried the ZAGG ORBIT BUMPER CASE SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 (Black) and it looks great BUT the Samsung S6 Charger doesn't fit the hole on the case! I contacted Zagg and they said they're aware of the issue BUT to try different chargers. I personally don't like using 3rd parts chargers SO i returned the case.
- NEVER use an Aluminum bumper! I had one on my S6 Edge (which I returned) and it scratched the Aluminum! Don't be fooled with these bumpers UNLESS it has rubber coated in the inside and your GPS doesn't get interrupted by the Aluminum.
* Here are some pictures, so I hope this helps people who are looking for a bumper case!
God Bless
Rhino guard has free shipping to Canada and 10% off today for Canada day!
Using RhinoShield, its absolutely amazing.....

Xiaomi Mi Max Accessories Discussion

Just want to ask if anyone bought any good screen protector / cases / etc that fits nicely or have good quality and where they got them.
Well for me,
I found this PZOZ Tempered Glass protector from aliexpress and it works really well
Like I've tried around 3-4 other brands (also from aliexpress) that have cuts that doesn't fit completely due to the 2.5D glass
This PZOZ one covers up the annoying black border around the phone too
Only con is that the white is a little bit too transparent so u can see through it (like you can see the black border behind)
It was really easy to set up and comes with the microfiber cloth/alcohol wipe/sticker and I've pulled and re pasted a few times with no problems .
Also found a frosted TPU case on aliexpress that fix nicely with all the cut out and it was much better quality compared to the normal TPU cases u can find cheaply all over aliexpress
Not sure If i'm allowed to post links but if anyone is interested you can pm me
Was thinking of grabbing an VR headset for Mi Max but it seems like there's just a few that barely supports the size so i'm unsure
Hi, I'm interested in buying some glass protector and a case can you send me the links?
Best Regards,
You should have opened this thread in the Accessories section...
Anyway I am using Xiaomi original TPU case and after a month with it I wouldn't recommend it. It was perfect fit when new but got too loose.
Just bought Nillkin super frosted shield case and I am pretty sure(hope) it's better than Xiaomi one. At least it's a hard case... what I prefer.
I bought this luxury case:

I got this one today from eBay.
It sucks. It doesn't fit edge to edge, which is expected because of the curved glass, but even so, it still lifts up on the sides a lot. It went straight in the trash.

Bought a Nillkin protector today. Should be the best one available. I have one of these now and it feels cheep. Feels more like plastic than tempered glass. Also the oleophobic coating is bad and there's a vertical wide line where there's no coating at all so that area gets dirty all the time. It also has some annoying dot pattern over the whole screen area that can be seen very easily. Not impressed. The only good thing about it is that it covers the black frame although it's a bit transparent so you can see through it a little. Overall low quality of everyting but it works as protection.

Got my Nillkin yesterday and it's worthless. At both sides the adhesive doesn't stick so there's a nasty border on both sides where the protector does not stick. I threw it away in seconds.

Yep... As I expected this is an excellent case if you like that kind of cases. Perfect fit, excellent grip and fill, no more pushing buttons accidently when grabbing the phone... And keeps the device slick design.
Using soft TPU gel transparent case, i like to see the original beauty of the phone
I got this clear plastic hard case delivered today and for me its perfect. Slim, unobtrusive and gets the job done. Also the price means that if I accidentally scratch or crack it then I can just throw it away and get another one.

Using same, but black.
I have a very big spot in the middle of the screen, not air bubbles, but from the liquid stuff used for it to make it stick to the screen (I guess).
It is very annoying. I will probably take it off. Anyone know what I can use to reapply it, if I take it off and try to clean it?
It's my 3rd glass with issues. Had too small, not applying on sides, now it fits well, no air, but stupid spot issue.

I removed it, cleaned the back side of it without touching the edges that have some kind of glue on them, reapplied and now no more spots.

Clear Case Comparison Conversation

Enough with the alliteration,
I've recently come to own 3 clear soft TPU cases and thought I'd compare them here for you all.
Spigen Liquid Crystal case
Choetech soft flexible case
Easy Acc TPU case
I'll start by saying the phone case market seems to be about as diverse as the phone market is right now. All 3 cases are almost exactly the same thickness, made of almost exactly the same material even down to the textured dots on the inside of the case to prevent bubbling. So rather than comparing everything I'll point out the differences.
First and foremost the Spigen is hands down the best for fitment, I would hazard a guess at the other two being from the same OEM despite the difference in branding and packaging as they both have the same minute misalignment on the fingerprint hole, and I mean minute, but it's enough to knock a perfectionist sick. The hole is wider on the latter two and the camera gap spans the whole way across for the camera and sensors whereas the spigen has a much tighter, satisfying fit around the fingerprint sensor and camera/sensors.
For protection the Choetech has more exaggerated corners in aide of protecting against drops to the corner and provides a little bit more lift when lying flat without affecting the grip of the device, only the aesthetics, the trade off being have to look at the corner bumps, the aforementioned gappage and that 0.1mm misalignment.
So... I paid £8 for the Spigen, £6 for the EasyAcc and 45p for the Choetech (They sent me a test unit normal price is £10)
The Spigen is definitely worth £2 more over the Easy Acc, armed with this knowledge I wouldn't then be happy paying another £2 more for the protective bumps UNLESS the quality of the rest of the case matched the Spigen.
Take forth this knowledge, look at the prices at your retailers and decide for yourselves!

Which ones are which? I to am looking for a good clear case to show off the white and silver design. I was thinking of the spigen tough armor clear silver, but it covers most of the back. Maybe the Orzly fusions clear.
In the photo the choetech is the last to the right.
Im assuming the center is easyacc. I bought this under 5 different vendors with different specifications each, claming ultra thin slim, and they were exactly the same, down to the pacaking with slight vatiations and misalignments.
In the ended up paying $1-8 each. So taking that into consideration, the one from china for $1 shipped via epacket that arrived on the same day as others shipped from variius states in the US, is the better value.
In the case thread I posted over 15 vendors selling the same case with different logos and brand names
My issue with this thickness clear glossy tpu has always been if the cut outs for the camera are too close if rhe flash fires it will cause a glare in thr picture.

All the spigen cases I've had have always been spot on to be fair and in this case it's the best clear TPU I've seen or used. I don't think they get any thinner.
I'm much more fond of the Google Live case I made after all anyway!

If what you claim about all 3 being the same thickness. Then there are plenty tpu a lot thinner, I have a couple and have a few more on order.
The easyacc and choetech are standard thickness. Imho.

I had the clear tough armor. Don't get. It is a nice quality case and it looks really cool on the pixel but I'm telling you it doesn't belong for the pixel. It makes the phone slippery with its matte plastic cover, it makes the pixel too thick and the bottom part of the phone where my pinky touches is pretty sharp. All these in combination makes for an unwieldy phone. Dropped it so many times trying to shuffle my pixel one handed to reach different spots of the screen. I returned it and am currently using a Spigen liquid crystal which is a completely different experience. Get the liquid crystal
Consider the Ringke Fusion
Spigen Ultra Hybrid is the best clear case I've ever owned. I can't recommend enough.
I think the Caseology clear waterfall case is the best out there. Much better than the Spigen.

Share your case.

Hi, I usually don't use cases as I don't see a point of buying a beautiful phone for a lot of money just to cover it with an ugly case. However Xperia 1 is so slippery that unfortunately I will have to buy a case or it won't last long.
Could you guys share the cases you use, preferably with some photos. I don't think there is a lot of choice at the moment as the device is relatively new, nevertheless new models coming out daily and won't hurt if we have a thread to showcase our purchases.
Personally I always buy the thinnest case possible. My previous device was pixel 2 xl and this was a case I had:
Fone-Stuff[emoji2400] Google Pixel 2 XL Case, Ultra-Thin 0.3mm Stylish Fully Protective Case Cover, Thinnest Hard Back Cover, Super Slim Matte Finish Extra Camera Protection, White https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0777QHGSV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_4YCiDbSQX2SDP
Very thin and I liked it very much. Unfortunately I can't find anything similar for the xperia 1, ordered this one:
Olixar - Clear Case Compatible with Sony Xperia 1 - Slim Gel - Ultra Thin Transparent Cover - 100% Crystal Clear - Flexible Slim Protection - Non Slip - Clear https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07M7DNG16/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_U0CiDbK7BXF7D
Unfortunately, despite claiming to be ultra thin it's actually a regular silicon case.
Looking forward to your recommendations.

Interesting post, I will not put a case in it since I have a good grip on it thank to its really narrowness, and it feels far less slippery than my previous mate 10 pro. But I'm interested to see what you guys choosed.
Problem with transparent case is they stay transparent for like 3 months then turn yellowish.
The sony case is just overpriced at 57€ and heavy (+60g).
I just hope the paint on the edge will last long. The back with gorilla glass 6 should resist well. But I hope edge paint is epoxy or strong like this.
I found out a lot of case for Xperia 1 are labeled for Xperia XZ4. It adds other options when you search for it.
I bought this.
https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07RW7TM9Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It consists of a gel case and a glass film. It took two weeks to arrive, then I only use it occasionally, I prefer bare contact in the end, I threw the front glass because there are halos in the thin part of the front curve, unacceptable.
I bought this one few days ago:
SLEO Case for Sony Xperia 1 Case - Rubberized Hard PC Back Case Cover for Sony Xperia 1 - Black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07KXJ2SQ8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_qp5kDbNYE7JT4
Very happy with it. Very minimal, how I like it. Only downside is that it's almost as slippery as the phone itself.

Why not use the case included in the box?

The case is not included in all units, only for the J9110 units.
Bought this one few weeks ago:
€ 0,89 21%OFF | For Sony Xperia 1 Case Sony 1 Case Soft Silicone Back Cover Phone Case For Sony Xperia 1 Xperia1 Sony1 J8110 J8170 J9110

Really slim and strong
Fits perfect
Just had this case delivered. Nillkin super frosted shield. Fantastic fit and finish. Feels great on the phone. Best case yet, far nicer feel than the TPU cases which in my opinion end up feeling greasy and dirty.

Don't generally buy cases anymore and haven't bought one for the Xperia 1 either however, I've used Nilkin cases in the past and they have always been of good quality and fit very well. That is the case I'd go for this time if i was going to get one.
Are there any good rugged cases out yet?

Check these out: (from a Japanese case maker, the total price including shipping to my country is still cheaper than the cheapest UAG case)
Black: https://global.rakuten.com/en/store/compmoto-r/item/4549550129305/
Red: https://global.rakuten.com/en/store/compmoto-r/item/4549550129312/

Picked up this slim case https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T34TPYB/ref=twister_B07W1VLKTW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 in red
I don't like bulky cases. I got it because I wanted open access to the buttons so the half-press camera button will work just fine.
It is smooth and a bit slippery actually. No drop protection (what do you expect). Pretty good for the price. The other colors like gravel green will have more of a standstone finish though
The rasta banana case is great!

Another case I picked up on Amazon.
The Aeska clear TPU case
Pros:
- Grippy
- Cheap
- 3 colors (purple, black and clear)
- Easy to access the FP scanner (it's not deep)
Cons:
- You lose the camera shutter button feel. Hard to determine the half press
- Power button also a little more difficult to press now.
This basic hard clear PC case is my favorite.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Sony-X...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
Pros:
- Clear
- Slim, so no bulk!
- Open, easy accessible sides for buttons
- Cheap
Cons:
- Picks up grease/oils from your fingers
- Not very protective

I have just purchased it (zeroshock black) from Amazon Japan directly with international shipping, looks promising.
Got this case for my recently acquired X1:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MBMPQBN/
It's a little pricey for such a basic thin case, but I didn't want to use my phone without a case, and AliExpress would've taken a month to deliver.
Contrary to popular opinion, I actually like the exposed top/bottom of the phone, since the case doesn't wrap around the entire frame, it's not that bulky and I really like thin and minimal cases. No weird branding on the back like many other cases have.
I got it in 'Smooth Black', but I probably should've gotten 'Matte Black' which may have been less slippery than this.
Since it was a really nice case, I might get the blue or green one if I eventually get bored of this all black look.
i hate this case...caus it feels so weird in hand while the phone is not fully framed
i like to get this one from Black Rock i have for my S9 ultra sin
This is similar.

Case Megathread

I think we should try to keep case discussions in one place. Please post your experiences with Redmi Note 9 cases!
Personally, I'm currently using the one in the box, but I was looking to maybe get something a little fancier. Although, to be honest, it's been significantly improved from past phones, it fits a lot more snuggly!
Anyone have any good cases with a kickstand to recommend maybe?
I got the Nillkin textured nylon fiber case from the official mi store. It's not too bulky but still seems to provide good protection and it feels so good in the hand imo.
I got one of these, good coverage and protection and has a clear back so you can still enjoy the rear panel colour. Also a ring/kick stand which is handy.

Its raised around it a bit but camera still sits out a bit. I got a tempered glass screen protector which also came with a protector for the camera lens, so I've got some added protection too.

Cool case, thanks for sharing! I'll consider picking one up as well. Have you noticed any difference in Camera quality now that you have a tempered glass protector on top? I'm kinda concerned I'm gonna crack the module given how much it's protruding...

I'm very happy with it, good protection but doesn't add too much bulk. I havent noticed any difference with the camera, once its applied you wouldnt know its there to be honest.

I finally came across this one on Amazon. It actually comes out far enough to protect the camera bump and has a deep enough lip in the front to allow a tempered glass screen protector and still not touch the table if face down. Even though it is one piece it comes in seven colors.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max Case, TPU +PC Iron Armor Shockproof Designed Case,Full Body Dual Layer Rugged Cover for Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro/Redmi Note 9s/Redmi Note 9 Pro Max Case (Black)
Just yesterday I switched from the included case to a Nillkin Frosted Shield.
Never had a Nillkin case before so thought I'd give it a go. Seems OK for the price but did take 58 days for delivery to Australia, due to Covid I suspect.
The phone fits snuggly into the case and the cutouts are almost perfect but I'm not quite sure that it's the case that I'll be staying with.
Looking for something that feels a bit more grippy in the hand as I tend to drop my phone's a lot. And I'd feel more comfortable with something that also adds a little more protection from falls.
The Nillkin is nice enough, and affordable enough, for those who aren't as clumsy as me, but I'm sure there's better out there for those who are all thumbs.

Yes it covers the camera with a small bump so it won't hit the table. Same with the front. If you put glass screen protectors on front and back they will align exactly with the bumps.
I got this for my Note 9S. Got it for around $3
The build quality is not bad for its price. Its platic blue layer is not loose; will not fall or crack anytime soon. I can trust it if I drop my phone.
The bump between the case and the screen isn't quite deep so its recommended to use a thin screen protector.
In contrast, the camera bump is good even with a glass protector applied.
The ring can be used as a stand for portrait (only one angle) and landscape (two angle but one is a little bit unstable)
It does make the phone a little bit thick but its not something that will make it bulky when I put it on my side pocket.
Already collected some cases for my phone
- Ringke Fusion X, this is also good for best protection with slim profile
- Spigen Liquid Clear
- Spigen Tough Armor, by far best rugged case for note9pro
- Spigen Rugger Armor
It's Nillkin, you can slide for covering camera.. ,really nice, I want to buy it... ???
I've got this one.
No idea who is manufacturer.
It costed about 6,7 € (7,7 USD)
If you want quality then i suggest you go for Spigen or Ringke case. I've bought one of spigen case for my samsung galaxy s7 and it's still solid (not getting soft like cheap case) even after 1 year.
I got this case, costs around $2. Covers the camera too. Fits quite nice.
I got a Spigen case off eBay, its saved my phone from many drops. Would definitely purchase Spigen cases again whenever I change phones.
