It worked for honor 4x which is almost the same than 4c and p8lite. So it should work.

Sorry to say, but huawei 4c doesn't have a gyro sensor. there is nothing to do for that!
But my friend have g play mini and it have...it not the same model?

I tried it and work with Honor 4C.
Gyroscope is activated and working.

Neither does honor 4X, but it is still working. Not perfectly I think, but u can watch 360 videos pretty smoothly but with pokemon go it's bit shaky.

I don't think there will be one, as Honor 8 is a budget device IMHO, but then again, who knows what Honor have in mind.

Nope that isn't happening. Only the 'P' Series have 'Lite' versions. Honor series don't have lite versions but however there could be Honor 8X or 8A or 8C or whatever Huawei wants to

There is no relation between Huawei and Honor models. Honor has no Lite models.

I think they're pretty close, yes. But some variants of P9 Lite have NFC, I think one variant have 3GB RAM (not sure), it has fingerprint reader and a better screen.

The 5C has NFC but no fingerprint sensor in the UK, but the Chinese models has the fingerprint sensor.
I'm sure they're the same hardware platform and customised by region. Using a different screen, software, 3 or 4GB RAM, NFC, fingerprint sensor etc.
I don't think so, from Honor's history there's no lite yet.
But who knows it may happen
i dnt think it will happen, bt am eagerly waiting for honor 6x(with dual cam)
there should be, with single cam, like iPhone series.

I don't think the Honor 8 is daydream compatible yet. At the moment only Pixel devices are compatible with the use with daybream. Maybe the Honor 8 will be supported later on.

I think all android devices released come with a accelerometer or a gyro of some sort.

Accelerometer is there. But manufacturers are skipping gyro to cut coats. Hoping to see gyro in 6x indian variant.

Considering that accelerometers function on the same principle as gyroscopes on mobile devices. I can understand why some device OEMs are skipping them in favor of accelerometers.
EU version has Gyro but no US version as confirmed on some other thready by someone.
China version has no gyro and NFC...

But the gyroscope is very bad. It trembles a lot and is very slow.
Well a port of the Google camera works with Kirin Chipset.
I'm not sure if it'll work with Kirin 710 but give it a shot. Portrait works and so does hrd+.
