I really had the same problem and this method is not working.any hElp please
hey hey
you have to go into the fastbootmode. Load Oampboot(the newest version)
plug your battery out of your phone. Connect it via USB install oampdriver.
so now choose your Phone, if the tool starts write any data to your phone, do nothing. Your phone will be run into the S/W Mode. So you can insert your battery and run your Flashtool to flash your KDZ Bin FLS or anything else
good luck

(GUIDE): "Hard Bricking" & "Resurrecting" the A110 made easy-

Well I finally managed to Hard Brick my A110 a few days back. I was thinking that everything was lost and my A110 was as good as a brick! But I struggled with it for two days and finally managed to bring it back to life! This is how I hard bricked it, but resurrected it too....
Hard brick:
The hard brick happens when you flash a non A110 stock ROM through SP flash. This happens when you get overconfident during ROM development experiments and forget the basic fact that flashing the "pre-loader" accidentally of any other ROM( (even if it is of MT6577) that is different from A110 leads to the phone going dead. The charge LED dies, and the phone is totally in alien land when the PC sees it through the USB cable You cannot flash anything through the SP flash any more. The phone will not power on or boot. Welcome to the land of bricked phones!
Resurrection:
1) First perform an uninstall of the MMX/Mobistel drivers you already have on
your P.C. Install the drivers again.
2) Take a piece of insulated wire (Around 3 cms long) and solder a 10K resistor
to one end. To the other end solder a pin to the pin head so that the tip is
free.
3) Remove your phone battery and keep the phone ready.
4) On the PC/Laptop, start SP flash tool and select the right scatter from the factory stock A110 ROM. un-tick all except the first five (Preloader, DSP_BL, MBR, EBR1, UBOOT) + CWM recovery (You should have replaced default recovery with CWM recovery in the ROM folder). Click "Firmware-upgrade, Download.
5) With battery taken off from your phone connect it to the PC/Lap using the USB cable.
6) Now touch the resistor end to the USB Cable outer part (GND) visible at the point of USB connector connected to the phone.
7) Touch the other part (pin end) to all visible copper terminals one by one.
8) Now without removing the cable, place the battery back.
9) Now keep your fingers crossed. If you have luck, you will see the red, blue, green and finally yellow lines on the SP tool window. You are done!!!
10) If your battery was having good charge when you were bricked, you can now power on to recovery mode and flash your CWM saved ROM or any other ROM.
11) If your battery was low, when you were bricked, leave it to charge for an hour before attempting to flash the entire stock ROM through SP flash or CWM.
Cheers!!!:victory:

Hard brick occurs when we flash preloader of different incompatible fone ryt...and hence fone wont detect on spflash tool..
What if we install the preloader drivers of that incompatible device; can we get the fone to detect in spflashtools ? If it wrks, then we can flash back the A110 preloader files ryt ?
Some one with a hardbricked device ,pls try it out if possible, before doing the hardware method suggested by OP

The Phone is connected to PC and the other end of data cable is pluged into phone, so there are no copper pins to touch.

[RECOVERY] CWM Recovery for Zen Ultrafone 701HD

Hi all
I've managed to create a CWM recovery for the Zen Ultrafone 701HD..... Thought I'd share this too...
For my tutorial on Rooting the same phone see here :-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2283125
See the above link to activate USB debugging and install ADB drivers.....
CREDITS:-
I've Tested the CWMr on my own Phone....It Works..
This was made through the resources already available on various threads in XDA..
All credits to the original developers...
Special thanks to Koush Dutta for his online CWM revovery builder.... works like a charm..
I take DO NOT responsibility for any damages - It worked on my phone, no reason it should
not work on the other 701HDs out there.... Take a backup of all important stuff... Better safe than sorry..
STEP 1 - INSTALL PHONE DRIVERS
Connect your phone to your computer via USB.
Go to control panel -> device manager after a few minutes
Right click on Zen Ultrafone and update drivers ... required drivers are attached in above link.
Your device manager should not normally have any unrecognized hardware after this step. ( see attached Image).
The"Android Composite ADB Interface" MUST be listed by now... if not recheck your steps again.
Disconnect and restart your phone and your computer and make sure it stays that way.
STEP 2 -INSTALL THE USB VCOM DRIVER
This driver helps the computer recognize the phone's flash memory when it is SWITCHED OFF.
Disconnect your phone and switch it off... remove battery and put it back in just to make sure.
Keep device manager in windows open.
Connect the phone now.
The computer should list the Preloader in device manager with a yellow triangle.
Right click and install the drivers... accept any prompts to install unsigned drivers as they appear.
Disconnect the phone..
STEP 3 - FLASH THE CWM RECOVERY
Download and extract SP Flash tools to a folder.
Place the scatter file and the recovery image in a separate folder
Open SP Flash tools select the scatter loading file given
CAREFULLY UNCHECK ALL BOXES EXCEPT RECOVERY!! - this is essential!!
Click on recovery and choose the recovery image provided
Press 'Download' button on SP Flash tools.... DO NOT hit the firmware update button...
Now reconnect your phone.... accept any prompts...
When the Green ring appears, you are done...
Please hit thanks..... and please JOIN the forum and leave some feedback...
Edit: - I am somehow unable to uplaod the CWM recovery to xda.... meanwhile i've uploaded it here..
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9ZlmxCxbtQ8UjhfX3ZYRFZmS3c/edit?usp=sharing
Alternate (easier) method
This method needs a rooted phone-
Install mobile uncle tools from Play Store.
Place the recovery.img provided in root of SD card.
open mobile uncle tools and flash the recovery.
Thats It!!
completely lost faith in zen uf 701 hd..
got a product which has few blue lines on the screen and camera not working.
made a refund and looking to buy any other quadcore.
canvas hd, canvas 2 plus, umi x2
which is better?
Sorry to hear that man. I dont believe the canvas is any better in terms of quality control. Where did you buy the ultrafone from? Mine came in pretty good packing.

Hello all. Received my 701 HD a couple of days back . thankfully no defects in my piece. And phone Is awesome !
And I was really surprised you guys have already rooted And Made CWM ready ! My salutes bro....
Looking forward to root and try better ROms when this new mobile vanity wears off soon
BTW Is there an unrooting method present ? Maybe it will be if help looking at many complaints this phone has
Sent from my ultrafone 701HD using xda app-developers app
Haven't tried to in root it yet. Guess flashing the stock ROM will do.
Sent from my ultrafone 701HD
Oh yes... I Forgot that flashing stock ROM does the trick
But then I guess we will also have to remove the custom recovery to avail warranty . just in case ??
Sent from my ultrafone 701HD using xda app-developers app
Yes. For warranty, you'll have to restore everything to stock state. The stock recovery can be flashed via stools too. Just replace the cmw with the stock recovery in my tutorial.
Sent from my ultrafone 701HD
BTW. I am sure we can find a lot of clone phones of our zen 701. Notably canvas HD, xolo Q1000. Celkon signature HD
Maybe in near future we could port the best roms from them. What say ?

Guys. Is it only me or are you also noticing that Wi fi reception is very weak in this cell ? :banghead:
Sent from my ultrafone 701HD using xda app-developers app
No issues with WiFi here. Tried connecting through public hotspots , mobile thetering, used this phone as hotspot, used WiFi direct with super beam - all work like a charm.
Looks like my WiFi router has gone numb due to cold these days
Any suggestions to improve signal strength of router ? The weak signal is really testing my patience :banghead:
Sent from my ultrafone 701HD using xda app-developers app
Could be due to interference. Try a selecting manual frequency in router
Dudes. Have any of you guys installed custom Roms yet ? The pathetic streaming of YouTube from WiFi in this phone is testing my patience

Try Your Luck to Get back your Tipo/Miro/E

hi all,
In most of Q/A thread of tipo/miro , i have seen that people are facing trouble after unlocking bootloader and get therir device bricked. so here, after some research ,i have mentioned notes that they should have try to get their tipo if possible.may be it will help
-Notes
-Change USB Port & USB Cable and Make Sure driver is installed Correctly
-Sometimes it looks like hardbrciked but it is not,so check that is there any vibration/LED sign while trying to turn on device
-Remove sd-card and SIM ,put your device in charging for 24 hours ,there is a little hope to get RED LED after
-Try External Charger and Charge your battery for long time & Connect your device without battery by holding volume down button and insert battery. It may detect your device on flashtool
-If you get LED Then try to connect with flash/fastboot mode and flash stock rom or use PC companian/SUS after Relocking Bootloader.
IF ANYONE WATCHING THIS THREAD HAVING SOLVED THAT KIND OF ISSUE THEN PLZ SHARE YOUR EXPERIANCE TO HELP OTHERS.
