guyz i m planning to buy a new fone
wat do u guyz think should be suitable?? within 20k??

Galaxy s duos ,around 17k

within 20k you get these phones which are good..
Samsung Galaxy S Advance i9070
Sony Xperia Sola
Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562

Without any doubt go for nexus 7. Else go for s2 only. Because remaining phones are useless.

If u want to mod n mess with your phone, u might need warranty.at least til u get the hand if the sgs2

i will mess with the fone in the beggining only than i will use a stable custom rom
and secondly my galaxy sl is also out of warranty now so it so it is more likely to get bricked instead of a new fone

Thats what I meant .in the beginning u might need warranty as u might screw up the phone in the chakkar of modding it.I feel this I cuz I screwed up my motherboard but my phone was on warranty.got free replacement

instead of nexus 7 m planning to buy and indian brand domo slate n9 se which is also a good option as it cost only 6000 , very cheap compared to nexus 7

For cheap get a spice stellar 355. Loads of features, and there's a desi dev who's got it and is working on stuff for it.

and domo slate as tablet

for 60% u can buy Note 2,wher u can buy from custom pls tel

galaxy nexus might also be a good option.i think it is available in india in about 21-22k.

Galaxy Nexus doesn't have warranty covered in India. SGS2 the best. Go for it.

nexus 7 is not a phone and it doesnt have sim card..

but the price of s2 is still abt 25 k and since nexus will also have good development as s2 and can receive more official updates.

if you buy the N9, you properly will regret.
I got 1 Sanei N90, same spec even 7500mah battery, can hold only 1 day if flash CM10. If stay with the ori rom, it lag like hell.
for the A10 processor, if you see in the net, you properly find out that can be OC to 1.5Ghz, i tell you,, it even not able to pass 1.2Ghz.

i prefer this mobile include those features:
- 3.8 inch or over display screen
- 1 Ghz CPU Single core / 800Mhz Dual core
- Good GPU
- Good battery for 5h + talking
- Good camera quality
and i need it around 165 Euros | 215 $
What do you prefer to me?

You should be able to find the S2 used on eBay (et cetera) in your price range. At least, I saw them around $200USD when I was looking about 4 months ago.

Hey guys my previous tab broke:crying: now in a confusion on what to buy help m- my budget is 10k (INR) andwant some features like- dual core processor, more than 7" screen (this much only) and yeah should have a calling facility!!

i dont know what 10k inr is but the samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 has always been my favorite, at the start it was 400$ but its been dumbed down to around 200$ now i would recomend that its a dual core.

Really? Mine has been one of the worst purchases ever. It's dreafully slow, unresponsive and the resolution is far too low...
People are constantly complaining about the lag of the TF700; Yet my GT2 10.1 makes my TF700 seem like a Vehron.

For that price - roughly $170 US - a Nexus 7 might do you well.

never liked the stock very much put a cyangenmod rom on it and its great.

i would also recommend a nexus 7 xD forgot about it

Ace III development

So Ace III has been released 2 days ago. Obviously I will be getting one whenever possible.
Let's start a development thread for this new device, shall we? Let the discussions roll.

No it doesn't sport a Videocore IV GPU. It's powered by a variant of PowerVR SGX540.
Although I would be really much more happy if it was powered by Videocore IV. I have plenty of experience with this GPU from tinkering with RaspberryPi.

Yeah VideoCoreIV is litle bit faster than Ace2 or SGS GPU but overal if someone have Ace 2,GPU performance on Ace 3 will be that same if there is sgx 540..heh

Or if this will be directly GPU from SGS then will be slower than mali400mp1...lol

Mali is better, PowerVR is too old.

Mali400mp1 is only litle bit faster SOMETIMES than Pover Vr SGX540 from first Galaxy S.
One thing is important. Ace 3 have in LTE version 1.2Ghz cpu...this is alot better than Ace 2 if CPU is good (freq. is not all)

Little bit is always better

i was speaking about gaming , i don't know in your country but in italy s2 plus it's at 165€, in the same range of price there is lg g2 mini and lg L90, both with snapdragon 400 and adreno 305 960x540 display resolution , if they have an optimized software gaming expirience could be realy nice
