Flashing New Firmware

Hi guys,
I have the chinese version of the t101
Can I download the WW or US version of the firmware from the asus site and just flash it. Is it possible.

Change firmware CN to WW

I buy one transformer TF300L in Chine i need change the CN firmware to WW firmware, wich is the proceser to make this change

did you succeed to change from CN firmware to WW one? I'm looking for the same think mainly to access google play which is not available from CN firmware

You will find just one answer at your request which is short and fast: NO
You can't change your firmware by an another.
Sometime some devs uses US firmware for build his rom.

Change SKU

Can I change my tablet from one SKU to another? It's now in CN 10.4.2.17, but Google apps do not work; so I'm looking for a way to change it to US or WW.
I found a few posts pointed to method 2 of this thread below, but the last few pages of that thread report that the method has been fixed by Asus.

The answer is really short: NO, you cannot !
Your SKU is JP, US or WW or CN it will stay your original SKU.
From Asus Website - Comment about firmware:
1. Check SW version of your ASUS Transformer Pad TF300TG*
2. Download ASUS Transformer Pad TF300TG Firmware: V10.4.3.9 Only for WW SKU and Update version of SOP (From “Manual” Item)
※Firmware update cannot do *SKU conversion* and downgrade version.
Wrong SKU may cause update failure, You can only update your SW version on the Same SKU
*How to check SW version of your ASUS Transformer Pad TF300TG?
Path: [Settings]-->[About tablet]-->Build number
Example: You should be able to see the build number WW_epad-10.X.X.X_2012xxxx, where “WW” means SKU.

Try one CN SKU on your TF and you will se a new brick :laugh:
Indeed, you can flash a US firmware and WW which are relatively close.
The firmware of my Rom is US origin. But you need to be unlocked and rooted Otherwise that's not possible.
But it's clear, you cannot install a US or WW to JP or CN SKU.
YOU CANNOT !!!

Change CN to WW

I have changed from JP to WW with some minor issues. But it seems from the contents of firmwares that CN and WW are more different.

How do you check which version you have of the Zenfone 6, that being A, B or C?

I am trying to find out what version someone has of the Asus Zenfone 6. Is there a test you can run to check this. FYI, there are 3 versions, A , B and C, and they all have different Bands.
The version I am interested in comes from HK, and the seller doesnt know what version they are selling.
Can anyone offer any help please.?

Just tell the seller to send you a list of the bands his model has then you can cross-check if it's ok for you.

I've tried that. Seller doesn't know. (Eglobalcentral)

Bought my old phone from them, Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe. Back then they help me with de model number and version. Where are you from ?

Model number doesn't change . I'm in UK so need version A.

Where can I check what Model number i have ?
