Question Camera comparison Xiaomi 13 vs Fold4 - Xiaomi 13

So not many words are needed. Better look at them. There is a football game and some airplanes. And a lot of zoom. Around 100 pics.

I can't view them atm due to work restrictions. Is there a TLDR for the comparison?

High Dynamic Range Camera App for Android?

Anyone know of an Android camera app which does something like the iPhone 4 High Dynamic Range (basically take 3 shots at different exposure setting and blend them to achieve better dynamic range)?
Having a 16x9 option would be great, too.
Just a bump about High Dynamic Range camera apps.
It seems like it's a great feature and it should make high contrast photos usable.
Anything available, or is someone working on such an app?
For those who don't know what I am talking about, see this (http://arstechnica.com/apple/news/2010/09/hdr-photography-with-iphone-4-and-ios-41.ars)
Apple CEO Steve Jobs revealed during the recent Apple media event that iOS 4.1 would add a new feature to the iPhone 4: high dynamic range photography. The technique has been widely used to create often dramatic images of landscapes, scenery, and still lifes using digital cameras. In fact, several apps already exist for doing HDR photography with an iPhone.

to elaborate, camera360 has a faux hdr effect that works okay. I recommend its tilt-shift feature, it looks more similar to hdr and can give a cool effect if done correctly.

Thanks. I just purchased the ultimate version. The HDR effect is O.K., but from the limited testing it doesn't seem quite as good as the iPhone 4's version.
So there is no non-faux HDR app for Android?
I'll play with the tilt-shift feature (I don't even know what it is, but will find out
The iPhone camera has more control over shutter speed. I don't believe that the standard camera API hooks allow for the fine-grain control over shutter speed that you would need to produce proper HDR tone-mapped images.
Ahhh, HDR... love it or hate it
It's a nice technique when used well but most of the time it looks really bad... like a bad acid trip.

Good mini smartphone 4.7-4.5 inch advice requested

Hi folks,
Recently my daughter crashed her Samsung Galaxy S4 mini phone. I started to look for some decent replacement. Decent I mean: 2GB RAM, at last quad core processor, memory card slot, Lollipop on board
Problem is that she has really small hand so the phone cant by big. After looking for few days I was very surprised, that there is almost no offer in this range - most producers moved to 5"-5.5" range.. I found only Samsung A3. Other mini phones were just rubbish.
Can you advice anything good ? Maybe I missed some phone ?
I know right, I have exactly the same problem. You may want to take a look at Jiayu G5 (if it's still available), or Xiaomi Redmi 2. Both have quad core processors, memory card slots, although no Lollipop. Xiaomi Redmi 2, depending on the version, has 2 GB RAM.
I heard great things about the Moto E as well, though that's really a budget phone (albeit not that much cheaper) with Lollipop, low MP camera (which she may deem important to know), but only 1 GB RAM.
That market is difficult.
Most important thing , what is your budget ?

It is on my short list. My wife has Redmi 3 and it is pretty good phone. Battery endurance is shocking.
But Redmi 2 i pretty wide: 67 mm while S4 mini was only 61 mm

She was usually able to kill battery in her previous Samsung galaxy s3 i9300 within 1 day. With Redmi 3 she was not able to go below 3 days. Usually lasts 4-5 days. .
She does not play but do heavy web browsing.

Yep. You get 8 core snapdragon with 4000mAh battery, decent built quality. I think it is currently the best deal for 5" phone worldwide.
Just have to root and get rid of chinese crap or load multilanguage developer rom.
It is no worse then my 5.5" Lenovo Vibe P1 costing over 100$ more.

The A3 is more than enough , she's just a girl so i guess she only uses social media apps and some light games , in my opinion the A3 is a pretty good deal.

S9+ 120fps Camera Mod? (request)

The A50 has just recieved a 120fps camera mod.
There are numerous sources that confirm that the S9 is capable of this.
[Unfortunately as i am a lurker and do not have an account i cannot post links yet so you will have to search yourselves but the sources are numerous]
It is quite obvious that Samsung limited this feature, perhaps in order to segment their branding or because they felt that it was too unstable.
Does anyone know if there is an existing mod for this?
I have a 144hz monitor and would love to start capturing footage I can watch at a higher framerate.
Thanks

Oh i thought you were a developer. The S9 can record at 240fps but the actual video is only exported in 60fps and plays at 60fps. I can tell by comparing actual 120fps video with slow mo video i recorded myself without exporting it.
