Question 'unable to connect' error message - Xiaomi 13

Ok so I am trying to unlock bootloader so that I can then flash the euro rom for Xiaomi 13. I currently have the Chinese version and using in the UK.
When I go into the phone settings and check mi unlock status and try to add my device to my account I get the error message as per title.
1. I have turned off wifi
2.i have signed in and out of my mi account several times to see if this would help
3. I have logged into my mi account through PC using same account details as those on the phone and it shows my device under 'my devices'
The problem is that I have never had the confirmation when trying to add my device through the phone that it has been linked correctly and I assume that is what is causing me a problem when I try to unlock my bootloader using mitools.
When I do this I get an error come up that states something like 'missing token'. I can't remember the exact words.
Not sure where I go from here. All drivers are installed correctly and device is recognized in adb .
Help please, really need to get of this Chinese rom.

Check that everything is correct

Check that currency localization is enabled.
Try to connect with the QR code at the top right.
Check here the phone number and recovery email.

Thanks for your reply...
The first link just takes me to Xiaomi community home, not sure what im supossed to belooking for or checking there?
The second link takes me to a guide to unlock the bootloader, I am using Mitools to do this. This goes through its various stages to ensure all drivers insyalled etc and connects to the phone fine. i then have the option to select what i would like to do, i select 'unlock bootloader and then it links me to my xiaomi account where i sign in using the same details as are signed into on my phone. I am then faced with the 'xiaomi procedure failed [get service token] missing service token message.
Can you also explain what you mean by ensure currency location is enabled please?

The first link is the method and the second the official tool.
Settings/Xiaomi account/Xiaomi cloud/locate the device.

further to the above it seems others have recently had the same issue.
Hope im allowed to post this link here
Xiaomi procedure failed: [getServiceToken] Missing serviceToken cookie · Issue #23 · francescotescari/XiaoMiToolV2
I followed the instructions to unlock my Xiaomi phone, but I found this procedure error in the current linux version and in the Windows version.

There is mention in this that you have to have had your xiaomi account live for 7 days and have synced some items? Not sure if thats the case or not but this is becoming very frustrating. Really want to be off this chinese rom

But you are using an unofficial tool and complain that it doesn't work.

i tried the offical tool first but didnt work either, i then found on a youtube search that someone suggested trying mitool as that would also ensure you had all the corect drivers installed etc on pc for the adb when it came to flashinging the rom.
On another note, ive just tried to log into xiaomi cloud from my pc to use the find device service as i thought that might link the drvice and ive just had an account message come up saying that because i had not used my account for over a year that cloud services are no longer available on that account.
Do you think i need to delete that account somehow and just create a new one?

Try again with the official tool and post a screenshot of the error just in case.
You must place the Mi unlock folder at the root of your hard disk and check that:

ok i have the offical mi unlock on C drive. I have also just deleted my old xiaomi account and created a new on just to ensure there is no conflict there. i am logged in with the new account on my device and will log into mi unlock with same details and lets see what happens.
Thanks for your help so far,

ok so i am now a step further on!
having done the above (created a new xiaomi account) i am now being given the option (using offical versio) to unlock bootloader!
Im going to do that in a few hours as i believe it will wipe my device and take it back to its first start up?
That being the case it will then not have google play etc installed. Obviously my intention then is to flash the EU rom which i assume has google play pre installed?

Yep, this operation will erase your data as well as the first installation of the Xiaomi Eu rom which has the play store certified without root.

ok so just to confirm,
i now unlock the bootloader (hopefully i wont get the wait 'x' days message) and that will then completley wipe my device and take it back to its original chinese rom and start up screen like it was fresh out the box.
I can then just flash the EU ROM over the top and then i will have a device which has play store pre installed and nothing Chinese on it?

You will probably have to wait 168 hours.
Once the bootloader unlocks the phone restarts and asks you to connect to your account, go to the end of the configuration without entering passwords or others then flash the Xiaomi Eu rom (recommended fastboot method, First install.bat) .
Just the themes will have Chinese inside since it is Chinese based.
Xiaomi Eu rom infos.

great thanks.
168 hours thing is a pain as i assume i wont be able to use my phone durring that time? obviously when it all starts it will be in chinese. Will i have an option to select english durring that reboot process? i guess also if i do want to use it while waiting for the 168 hours thing i would need to install google play again somehow?
The phone came with that pre-installed so i have not done that before.

actually im not thinking this through ....
what you are saying is that i wont be able to actually complete the bootloader unlock process for 160 hours from the point i try to request it. I assume i just carry on using ot as it is then and when the time is up come back and run it again at which point it will reset the phone and then at that point i can then flash the EU rom

Once the 168 hours have passed, you will need to use Mi Unlock again to finalize.
And you should use the phone "normally".

ok so we have hit another hurdle...
conected the phone ok to the unlock tool and then it stopped at stage 2 saying 'please add your device to your Mi account and try again'
i went back to the device and into developer settings and then Mi unlock status and clicked add device and again was greated with the original message of 'cannot connect please try again later'
wifi was off and the sim card in the phone....just dont know where i go from here.
when i sign into my xiaomi account on pc the device is shown there and when i sign into xiaomi cloud and click find device it locates it so all seems to be fine.
i dont understand what this connection error message is and why i still need to add it to something when the device shows in my account already

If you have created a new account, it sometimes takes a little time for the account to be activated (server update).
Try to connect with the QR code at the top right.
And of course with USB debugging enabled.
The ultimate solution is to do a factory reset.
Edit:
It seems to me that it is possible to ignore this error by continuing.

I did a back up to ensure the device was associated with the account and also did the find device thing which it found ok.
Where is the qr code thing your referring to?
Don't really want to resort to the factory reset as obviously I will need to install Google play again which I've not done before...
I don't believe it's possible to ignore this step as when I try to unlock the bootloader with the official too it stops and says the device must be added to the account...

How to recover from Deleted MI Account

Alright guys, so after surfing on the internet for two days without any luck to solve this issue, here's how I worked it out.
I know a lot of people might have gone through deleting their mi account before signing out from the phone and hence locked onto the deleted uid activate phone screen, right?
The official helpline suggests us to go to the service center but honestly the engineers over there don't know a **** either. All they know is how to hard reset the phone, if the problem is gone then - "EUREKA" !! , else "Well its a hardware issue, motherboard replacement is the only option, it will cost $$$$ rupees." Are you effing kidding me, its in warranty.
Even clean flash with edl mode or so doesn't seem to do the trick.
The only solution that worked was :-
1. Well obviously create a new mi account.
2. learn how to use edl mode, coz that's what's gonna help
edl - http://en.miui.com/thread-290959-1-1.html
How to use miflash with edl guide - http://en.miui.com/thread-235865-1-1.html
3. Download the oldest fastboot rom for your phone.
( I know this is the tricky part to find an old rom but try to go as low as possible, for me, having a redmi note 3, i went as low as 7.1.7.0 )
4. Download the latest recovery rom for your phone from here http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
5. Now enter the edl mode and use Miflash to clean flash the fastboot rom you downloaded.
Wait till the phone starts. The trick here is that older version of miui roms dont directly check for account status. Instead it gives us a choice to use an existing account or to create a new account.
So enter the credentials of the new account you created and log in with it.
6. Enable Find Device now. ( Yes this is important )
7. Load the recovery rom in the internal memory of your phone and use the updater app to update it to the latest rom.
8. It'll take some time to update, but after the phone starts you can see that you have the latest rom and it already has the new mi account logged in.
9. Open https://i.mi.com/ in pc and log in with your new account. Click on Find Device and let it locate your device. Somewhere on the browser you'll see the option to wipe your device remotely. Click on it and let it wipe your device.
10. After the phone is wiped and starts again, click next next until the mi account screen appears. You'll see that instead of asking password for the older account that was deleted, it'll ask you the password for the new account that you recently used. You already know the password so just enter it and voila the rest you know.
11. I suggest you perform a reset from settings -> additional settings -> backup and reset -> reset.
Yep this is it. You have successfully linked your phone with the new mi account. I guess its kinda overwriting it or so, but well who cares, the annoying device locked with deleted account is gone now. I know its a lot of steps and all but its certainly better than the alternative.
Adios people. Enjoy the unlocked beast.
hello, after update with latest when get internet conection goes it self to locked screen and ask for old mi account not the new one. it is a redmi 3
Hi, I know this post is somewhat old but I have an issue with MI Account. Here is my story, the kids were using my Redmi 4a device and created a login password accidentally which they don't remember anymore. So I did do a recovery to bypass the login password but was stuck at "Mi Account" login page. I had forgotten my password or anything related to Mi account. After researching on the net and following some tutorials I did flash with EDL using Global ROM MIUI8 (rolex) and after successful flashing I switched on the phone and the MI account login was not there anymore plus I didn't connect to the net. After inserting SIM cards fine, wifi works fine but I dare not go into that MI account login in the settings so my question is, if I use that MI account in the settings will it be a new account or would it ask for that old (before flashing) account password and moreover if I do upgrade what would happen? Thanks in advance.
Regarding Mi Account
I have followed step by password log in is gone and everything is fine working with old version and I create new account then I start upgrade by going to update application then after upgrade then reboot then when log start boot then again asking old account which deleted ....my divice is mi pad

Assalam o alikum and hello friends.
Jawad here. And in this Post I would like to share a simple trick with you guys,If you are Reading this then its means either your Mi devices is locked or you don’t know the Mi account installed on your device. Things you should know are what are ROOTING, CUSTOM RECOVERY, CUSTOM ROMS and how to do those. This post will be simple but not the procedure and unfortunately will be like this.
First of all let me tell you one thing and that will be If your Mi device is lock you can install CUSTOM roms, BUT its my personal experience that when I changed rom from MIUI rom to other custom rom I was missing My MIUI rom badly. Secondly this process will be long so be have some patience, And At last If you follow all the steps correctly then IN SHA ALLAH you will find your very own Mi account on your device.
1)If your Mi device is lock what should you do first, Things you should do is DOWNLOAD TWRP, LAZYFLASHER, CUSTOM ROM (which ever you like) SUPER USER.
2)Now Install TWRP recovery through Fastboot, For that you will find Many videos on youtube.
3)After that just for few minutes install custom rom. (Flash through TWRP) Look for HOW TO INSTALL CUSTOM ROM THROUGH TWRP for your specific device.
4)Root it (Flash SUPERUSER.ZIP through twrp amd flash lazyflasher too) and install DEVICE ID CHANGER and change your DEVICE ID. In whichever way you like, It can be of your own choice or it can be randomly.
5)After that Flash your desire MIUI rom and go through the process. And now you will find that your device is without any previous Mi account.
Thanks for Reading

My device is Redmi 3s prime, brought it from China. when came back, I couldn't verify my Mi account so had to Flash custom rom Linage Os 14.1 didn't like that at all so shifted to the next and then to the next, And then by chance install Pixel Rom although couldn't root it but found that my device ID was changed so just to try if anything like that can ever work, I flashed MIUI 8 again and was surprised to found that there wasn't any Mi account at my device. So I created my New Mi account.
To confirm this very theory I had to root my device and had to Change device ID and then performed factory reset only and this did work. There wasn't any MIUI verification.
Thanks mate it worked perfectly
I ' m got a new solution

i need help, let me tell my story first.
OK, so my phone is redmi 4 Prime, i got it second handed...bought it complete with box and charger, and everything
the seller already unlock the bootloader and installed TWRP with custom rom installed too, AOKP
when i said is mi account is log out, he said yes, i wont worry because he got the box, so if anything wrong i can request unlock to xiaomi
but then after i flash with MIUI, i found out MI account havent been log out
so i ask the seller but the password he gave wont work, then he said, that maybe it was his old mi account he forget...
OK, so i do request to xiaomi, but my request is rejected 3 times
i ask online Chat for why i always rejected even though i got the box,
after that CS xiaomi call me, and then i know that the imei in the box is different 1 number than in the phone, i check it before, but i didnt notice this 1 number different,
maybe i am not too focus and also it already night we meet up. i know it is my fault not pay attention more
in the box imei is :
xx33xxxxxxxxxxx
yy33yyyyyyyyyy
but in the phone is :
xx32xxxxxxxxxxx
yy32yyyyyyyyyy
and now the seller is very damn hard to contact. his number is always offline...
i know his identity card number and his wife, i got it in the phone, i back up all the data and backup with twrp too.
but maybe it will take a while until we meet again...since i have work and it is a bit far
although i still can flash customrom, i too want use the default MIUI rom
i check "the box imei" is not link to any mi account
so then i tried fix my imei using QSPT and backup my xqcn, edit it then restore to phone
the imei now the same as the box, flash miui 8.5.3.0, still show activation. weird thing is i can scan wifi the momen after selecting region...when using old imei, i can.
tried above method, change device id, still wont work...
the think is, i even not connect to network yet, but it still link to mi account, how can it be??
is flashing using EDL mode can lock again the bootloader?, because if so, i am affraid it will make this phone useless
any suggestion what should i do??

Nice question and answer is itself question. Yes mi account still there. Only way is go to service center and give them imei no. and pay money. Or go to any Big repairer and tell them Your story. They will Bypass it or delete Mi account so that You can enjoy phone with network .
Many people who face issue of network in mi Xiaomi mobile or redmi mobile is 1st check IMEI with bill box. if correct then proceed with Mi account process though you may not seeing any mi account locked to phone. mi server keep records of it.
If No bill box then Check online site imei.info or similar site , type there imei no and proceed with captcha and get result. if your phone is same as per there details shown then all good , otherwise may be problem. sometime imei.info provide wrong information so check other websites.

Nobody knows any thread about this tablet??
Still searching for a root-solution.
So it's possible to read out the firmware with Infinity Box CM2 but haven't found a working "Non-dongle"-version (Loader).
Some days, there will be a root solution.
It just takes time and will be posted in here.

I much appreciate the offer but what could u do if u haven´t the device or do u own it ?
Since my CM2-Infinity-box doesn´t work (usually I work with Miracle Box but it´s not compatible ...well the Tablet has to be rooted to read the firmware..), and literally tried all rooting-apps and progs, this device is really stubborn!
I own this device, thats what i told you

Well, to bad but I guessed so, since this device is atm not rootable. :/
I tried every single Flash-Box like MB, Infinity, Aladdin, Falcon etc pp.. any Rooting-App (APK & PC- based), almost a dozen flash-tools like ADT, AOS-flasher, Ultimate Backup-tool etc...and several command prompts via ADB&Fastboot.
Really Nothing helped to get a nandroid- or even a dumb ROM. From which I could extract the stock recovery.
Nevermind, I will try alil more with Holo- & Heliumbackup, which surely wont work but who knows, rite ??
I'm patient and as soon as I've found a solution I'll share it here immediately.
As any other user is welcome to do so, too.
I´ve managed to extract the stock-recovery via an OTA-update which came from Firmware Finder from Team MT.
U ´ll find the recovery on G-Drive. The "oldRECOVERY.img" is the extracted stock-recovery from the original BAH-L09C100B018 firmware!
So, since I´ve updated the Tablet, the only "RECOVERY.img"-named file is from the newest firmware which is L09C100B021!
If u wanna update to ...021, via the Firmware Finder-App, u need
The App

Be aside your tablet

Yup, unlocked the BL from day 1. It´s the same procedure for all HUAWEI devices.
Just go here, login or register, confirm the unlocking agreement and put all device infos into the blank fields.
U´ll immediatley get an unlock code, which u have to enter via fastboot command prompts (recommended):
fastboot devices
fastboot oem unlock-go 1234567890123456 <- (this number is an example, u´ll have to put ur code there instead)
fastboot reboot
From now on an unlocked bootloader message will appear every time u start ur device. Just press power shortly to boot then. (It´s also written in the text aswell)
P.S.
Before u try to unlock: Don´t forget to enable USB-debugging in the Engineertool (tap 7 times on "build" in the settings-menue) and "allow OEM unlocking".

U´ll immediatley get an unlock code, which u have to enter via fastboot command prompts (recommended):
fastboot devices
fastboot oem unlock-go 1234567890123456<- (this number is an example, u´ll have to put ur code there instead)
fastboot reboot
From now on an unlocked bootloader message will appear every time u start ur device. Just press power shortly to boot then. (It´s also written in the text aswell)
P.S.
Before u try to unlock: Don´t forget to enable USB-debugging in the Engineertool (tap 7 times on "build" in the settings-menue) and "allow OEM unlocking".

Ok cheers, I looked on the emui site and was nothing under their tablet menu only phones on the unlock bootloader page, on Nexus you just enable usb-debugging and click the OEM unlock in settings and fastboot flashing unlock in terminal. Sony uses a custom tool and HTC via their website I had a few phones in the past and built roms etc this my first Huawei device apart from my Nexus 6p Huawei help build with Google. I take it this device no official forum atm only the Kirin version.
Ya, HUAWEI has a quite faire unlock policy.
Important: There's an unlock bug sometimes. Be sure to have the Original firmware on ur device. (No updated ROM)
Have fun.

It's on latest official that came with device, I take it there is no twrp or anything out for this device ATM?
Just check a view posts above. I've described how to get the newest FW.
So if the factory ROM-version is installed, unlock the BL and after then update ur ROM. Jfi.
BTW_
Atm there's no custom recovery available for the M3 Lite Versions. U have to compile it by urself or make a request on Hovatek.com

I'm not bothered about updating the firmware ATM more so custom recovery but will look into it after my holiday.
I have requested official forum for this device and looks to be accepted so hopefully get some development going for this device soon...
There seems to be no way to retrieve the unlock code for Wifi-only tablets from the official Huawei site, as it demands the IMEI which is obviously missing.
I have contacted Huawei support with the product ID and serial number of my M3 Lite 10. One day later I have received the unlock code. I think that having been polite has helped

Storage question
Hello,
First of all: sorry, if the question is 'noobish', but as a matter of fact I am noob as far as android is concerned
I just bought this tablet for my son (LTE version), and I was quite surprised to find out that I can't move the installed applications to SD card.
Are there any hints and tips on how to take advantage of the big SD card, so my son's game data would not have to be stored in the internal memory?
The only default option is to change the memory from internal to SD, after the tablet restarts. But I assume it uses then only the SD card, and I am looking for a solution I remember from Samsung phone, where I could choose certain apps to move from internal memory to SD.
Another question, just by the way, is following: when I install an apk file from the SD card, during the installation process every few seconds I get a pop-up saying the application is not responding (although the installation is in progress). Any way to disable those annoying pop-ups?
I'd appreciate any feedback

I have been reading a lot of posts about BRICKED MATE 9 before trying to update to OREO, FRP lock and PHONE LOCKED(locked bootloder) and no one is giving solutions, now after weeks of searching and trying i found a solution gathering information from a lot of posts and thanks to DC-Unlocker/HCU Clients/DC-Phoenix.($19.00 dollars for 72 hours)
ok now THE SOLUTION <3:
1) first of all you have to buy license for dc-unlocker here: https://www.dc-unlocker.com/buy
2) when you have bought the license download this : https://www.dc-unlocker.com/download/soft.php?file=7JPrdoVQ
3) when download finish create a new folder in desktop ''DClient'' and extract .zip in there
4) open .EXE file called dc-unlocker2client and when it opens click on ''access support area'' (not necessary to be logged in)
5) Now on suport area look for DC-unlocker softwares>DC-Phoenix>DC_Phoenix_v50.rar>click on it and then click download button
6) extract dc_phoenix_v50.rar in desktop and open the program, it will ask you for credentials (emailed to you after purchasing license for 72 hours(3 days)
7)click on ''Download Files'' button and when your explorer opens, search STOCK FIRMWARE the one that comes flashed the first time you turn on your phone(mha-l09 or mha-l29) even if you rebranded it, for example MHA-l09_C185 (the one i used) you have to download firmware .app and hw.app
8) download factory firmware from here
http://www.mediafire.com/file/de139..._China_Nonspecific_Android_7.0_EMUI_5.0.dgtks
10) after that follow this GUIDE:
https://www.dc-unlocker.com/flash-bricked-huawei-phones-in-huawei-1-mode (for com 1.0) in case flash fails retry it, but in fastboot VL-d + power button
maybe you get a green screen with blue and red boxes, but dont worry its because you dont have vendor flashed, you can fix it with HCU client on ''repair UMTS'' tab
11) when you finish you can follow this video to rebrand your huawei to get rid of RND90m test- keys baseband error: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OywEYZ2cbw
12) you are all set, just follow HCU imei repair guide to fix IMEI, VENDOR, SERIAL NUMBER.

Hi friend heres a picture of testpoints location:
i dont know what testpoints are the only thing i know is that when you make a ''Bridge'' with the cable on both testpoints the PC will detect your hardbricked mate 9, if your mate 9 isn't hardbricked and its detected by the computer its not necessary to use testpoints.
watch this, so you will understand what i mean with make a bridge between 1st and 2nd testpoint

Excellent, all you have to do is:
go to HCU client> Enable Manufacture mode(dial *#*#2846579#*#*)>Repair UMTS tab> Country option (you have to check it)> then type ''EU'' and click REPAIR
I hope you still have time in HCU client friend i will be looking if you need something before your 72 hours ends.

OK, now i got it. It seems that you are forcing the CPU info BOOTROM mode, which allows a direct USB-SERIAL upload of the XLOADER into CPU SRAM, which initializes the SDRAM and loads FASTBOOT info SDRAM. After that you just use FASTBOOT for flashing the stock firmware.

yes i think, but it didnt worked with fastboot for me, i used DC-phoenix, it seems like with DC-phoenix you cand do whatever you want even if your bootloader is blocked, (when your mate 9 is hardbricked you cant open fastboot, DC-phoenix install fastboot, recovery mode and update mode with the factory firmware i uploader)
DC-phoenix bypass the update verification.

This is true, but the most critical information you have provided is about shortening the testpins.
This is the same as shortening 'Pin 1-2' in this document
https://github.com/96boards-hikey/tools-images-hikey960/blob/master/README-technical.md
to flash the partition table, xloader and fastboot.

I managed to brick one of my Mate 9s earlier today. It was a pain to get into (it's hard to get between the display and the case), but it's nice that there's still a way to recover.
That's what I get for trying to repair the seemingly dead cell modem. Hopefully it'll work when this all finishes.

Can you tell about your experience with the opened Mate 9 ?
I don't want to open mine without a good reason (happily running LineageOS 15 now).
Mate 9 does not have the serial console on UART5 or 6, the board_id is different,
but it is still interesting to knowif the hikey960 ramloader can start fastboot.
I'm not sure what loader was used, though my gut says it is the HiKey loader.
In any case, the biggest issue is getting the back separated from the rest of it. I've got an iFixit toolkit here which had enough to get into it (though I ended up using a 1mm flathead bit to remove the screws at the bottom since I didn't have a T2). It took me about 15 minutes to get the back off because it's pretty firmly attached and there aren't really any open spots around the edge to get tools into. The plastic opening tool and guitar picks included were helpful, though I also ended up making use of a hair clip to actually finish popping it up.
You do need to be careful taking the back off once you've got it separated, there is a flex cable attached to it with the flash, fingerprint reader, and power/volume controls.
From there, I disconnected the battery, shorted out the specified test points, and it showed up for downloading fastboot.
---------- Post added at 12:21 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:13 AM ----------
Also, if you do end up having to follow this method to restore, you'll probably want to do it on a disposable install of Windows. The Windows drivers specified in the OP are unsigned, and the DC Phoenix package gets flagged by Windows Defender as a trojan.
(Not to mention that you _must_ restore the serial numbers and IMEIs, as they get wiped out in the process. The phone will come back up with a serial number of 0123456789ABCDEF and a pair of 000000000000000 IMEI numbers.)
In the end, it does work, but going through this process on any system that you don't think of as disposable is possibly asking for trouble.
It works just perfect... Thanks you all... If any of you Guys need help Just write
i paid $5 dollars in a phone repair store to open my mate 9, but im in El Salvador i dont know in USA, i hope you get to open your phone guys and fix it succesfully

Mi Note 10 Pro Hard Brick

(First of all sorry for my English, I'm from Mexico)
Hello Friends, this is my first post, however, I have always used this forum as a guide along the phones I have had.
A few days ago I made a Hard Brick to my Mi Note 10 Pro, this while trying to load the Xiaomi EU Rom. I have seen many tutorials where they indicate how to revive it, without success since most are focused on the phone turning on in Fastboot mode, mine does not turn on in any way
I managed to make the phone recognize the PC in EDL mode but when flashing in Mi Tools it asks for a My account, when entering it the software tells me that my account is not authorized to carry out that transaction.

Fastboot is an Android protocol that allows you to modify the filesystem through a USB connection to the smartphone, however, in my case it does not enter that mode, only EDL

Yes, I already tried Mi Flash, but it seems that you need an authorized account, here is the image of the software:
You could try QFIL (Qualcomm Flash Image Loader). I personally haven't needed to use it but it's designed to work with all Qualcomm Android devices.
Some info links

did a quick research and found these:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-5-pro/how-to/fix-arb-bricked-device-qfil-t3841780
patched version of mi flash to bypass authorization, but for redmi note 5 - check the thread if it works for other models too
https://in.c.mi.com/thread-1571278-1-1.html
people are requesting authorization there, do not know if they ever succeed but maybe it is worth to try

It seems to work, I have been trying for several hours to find the right .mbl for the MI CC9 Pro without success, I will continue searching and inform you.
Thank you for the support!
It looks like Mi Tools need to bind your computer to your device in order to give you authorization, i think you need to ask for authorization in the Official Xiaomi Support Forums.

You need to download a fastboot ROM, I checked and they were all there although in the video there is only one XML file but in the MIUI fastboot ROM there are 5 but I was able to load them into QFIL so I think it would not be a problem.
Have a look here you will find all the tucana ROMs
https://t.me/s/MIUIUpdatesTracker?q=#tucana
The last fastboot ROM was 11.0.9.0. you will need to extract the .tgz file which will give you a .tar file which you need to then extract again to get the files needed.

Yes, in fact I tried all the xml files and their possible combinations without success.
The file "programmer patch", in this case comes in extension .elf and in the videos that I have seen is extension .mbn, Additional the first xml that is loaded is also called rawprogram.xml in the firmware for my Note 10 there are none file named like that.
I will keep searching and if I find something, I will post it for users who have this problem in the future
this is the error that gives me in all cases
.elf and .mbl are both supported by QFIL so should be fine. I have 6 .XML, rawprogram0.xml to rawprogram5.xml. When I press the load XML button I can click and drag and select them all at once. It then prompts me to load the patch.xml once again patch0.xml to patch5.xml and drag and select all. They should now all appear in the Rawprogram and Patch window. Unfortunately I can't get into EDL mode to try flashing but it looks like you are already in EDL. All the best.
Well, after many days of searching without solution, I decided to take it to the technical service, who flashed it in EDL mode with the UFT box.
The cell phone is walking and without any anomaly.
Thank you all for your valuable help.

My tucana is no more responding to charging, pwr + Vol combination, detection to laptop etc. I have tried making my own EDL cable and its working with K20 but not with Tucana. Can you please brief how you managed to get phone into EDL mode?

I tried 2 diferent mi accounts with 2 diferent phone numbers added in developers options and main menu, logout and login, diferent computers, usb 2.0 or 3.0 and nothing, always getting same error instead usual contdown timer (7 days). My phone is K30 Pro Zoom with latest miui 11 china stable (now with MIUI 12 china stable).
Also I created a thread in oficial forum if you guys want add your opinion:

You could check the following steps:
- Unlock dev option
- Enable USB debug
- Place SIM in the device
- Add your account in the unlock settings on your device
- Try again.
These are the steps I followed this morning and recieved the 168hour timer.
So i guess you didn't add your account in the unlock settings on your device.. Had the same problem and addind my account in the settings fixed it.

I did everything as you can read in my post... placed SIM, usb debugging and OEM unlock enabled, added account with phone number attached to miui account in dev unlock option. Even I tried older Mi Flash tool version and latest one or usb 2.0 and 3.0, logout and login...
Funny thing is 1 day before worked fine and I got the 168h countdown but when i went to check 1 day after it's broken for me.
Then you probally already tried this, but recheck the usb driver on your computer?
Maybe it's an acces problem

Nah 633xxxxx is the account, the pic uploaded here is an example from internet, not mine. I use SIM card attached to mi account and used in developer options, wifi disabled obviously and 4g... im not a noob with these things and I got success on first day getting 168h countdown, but now it's bugged.

I'm having the same issue as you, my only guess is it's connected to the "can't activate sim". For some reason it doesn't register it though the MI Unlock within the developer option confirmed that my MI Account is already added.
I think there's a current issue with the MiFlash unlock tool itself. Right now, I will wait for a couple of days before trying the tool again - without touching the MI Account on the phone itself.

I got a reply from global xiaomi email support:
Is the 15 days rule a new thing? soo now is 15 days + 168 hours (7 days) waiting?

In my case, I haven't changed my Mi Account thus my 168hours of waiting last week has already finished. My only gripe is the error message that I'm seeing from the Miflash tool as shown from the image you've sent. Also, what was the email address of their support? I've emailed their global site and I've yet to receive a reply from them ?

Thanks for the the link, and yes I've already posted there. Such a disappointment this brand is, and they should learn from OnePlus when it comes to boot-loader unlocking.
Same problem here. Very bad Xiaomi

Woah, then I guess it's their servers fault for not allowing the unlock. Will try the "waiting another day" route since I've already waited for a week (168h).
Hope it will now unlock this time. ?

The email has very poor English. Does that mean you need to be logged in at least once in last 15 days prior to unlock request, or you need to be logged in for entire 15 days before you request for the unlock? There's quite a difference. But it could even be something else considering how that reply was constructed. And yes, I don't remember either that was required last time I was unlocking my Xiaomi Mi5. They really did it this time, like 7 days in not enough to wait already..
Anyone tried if unlocking BL with Ryzen works now?
linking mobile number to MI
I went to unlock my bootloader, did the usual steps (not my first rodeo) but got an error re Mi Account not linked to phone number.
1. Logged into Mi Account via web interface, chose my number as an emergency recovery number.
2. Went to phone and logged Mi Account out and back in again, had a notification-style prompt to enter the phone number to link it to, fumbled and couldn't get the window back to enter it
3. Managed to enter and link phone number - WIN
Now to wait until unlock and weigh up the benefit of Xiaomi.EU ROM -vs- definitely having working GooglePay and banking app :/

I unlocked it around 1 week ago and Im using gpay + banking app with Xiaomi.eu rom and magisk root. Just use magisk hide to hide your root on banking apps and gpay. Latest magisk canary version.
