LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 13, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Initial Build

Hi there!
I just installed this ROM without GApps and it seems to get stuck in a bootloop for me.
It's only showing the MIX logo, turning off and then showing the logo again but never booting into LineageOS
I flashed firmware V12.0.3.0.QEECNXM first then fully wiped the device and finally flashed the ROM not sure if I did something wrong since your LineageOS 19.1 is working fine for me

FluitGeluid said:
Szia!

Szia!
Én ugyanígy jártam. A telepítéssel minden ok, a firmware rossz. Várom a javított verziót...

Hello !
Same thing for me, boot loop on MIX logo with this ROM, while flashing your 19.1 just after works like a charm.
Tried with firmware 12.0.3 and 12.5.1, same results.

Bootloop in MIX Logo...
this Room Not Working yet

Same thing for me, boot loop on MIX logo with this ROM

The same for me with Clean flash, bootloop.

Big thanks to Nguyên Thịnh from the Mi Mix 3 Community TG Channel.
Now it works for me.
After installation ROM and GAPPS (optional), you need to flash DFE (file attached), it will disable Force Encryption and you won't see bootloop anymore.
Install twrp, full wipe, format data, flash rom, flash gapp (if you need) and flash dfe and reboot system

Nagy köszönet Nguyên Thịnh -nek a Mi Mix 3 közösségi TG csatornától .
Most már működik nekem.
A ROM és a GAPPS (opcionális) telepítése után meg kell flashelni a DFE-t (fájl csatolva), ez letiltja a Force Encryption funkciót, és többé nem fog megjelenni a bootloop.

Kipróbáltam, így már működik!
Köszönöm a munkát!!!

Hello All
OS working no problem, but Wifi Calling is not working on airplane mode.

Apologies to everyone! Seems there is an issue with encryption in the initial build, so DFE is a requirement but I didn't catch this in development as I always flash DFE out of habit. So sorry again for that. I'm hoping to release an update with encryption fixed and no longer causes a bootloop issue

New update is out! Now longer requiring DFE to boot!

Didn't work that way for me...updated but got a bootloop until flashing DFE.

You obviously didn't read the update instructions. If you used DFE for the last build, you'll always have to use DFE. It's only Clean flash that you don't need DFE

Can u build this ROM for Otus
I'm not sure if this happened because I had to install GApps (otherwise Setup Manager would crash because of Nougat GApps already installed from previous ROM) or it is an issue with the ROM itself:
There's no keyboard, solved by downloading GBoard apk from apkmirror, placing it in a folder, and copying this folder to /system/app/.
There's no home app, solved by installing one from Play Store.
Now, some things I've encountered (not related to how the ROM works, but just to give advice to anyone).
1. Dolby Atmos (used the one from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/app-dolby-atmos-axon-7-oreo-port-t3740508) not working, the app crashes.
2. Squid's kernel does NOT work with this ROM. If flashed, the phone will keep looping at Google's logo.
3. Superuser (tried this with Magisk) has to be installed always BEFORE booting up for the first time, otherwise, loop at Google's logo.
On the other side, it works pretty good. I haven't found anything not working, and haven't noticed the phone heating or lagging. Everything is smooth.
Nice work and thanks!
Does anyone else have sound issues? I don't get any sound from the main speaker but phone call earpiece works as well as headphone jack.
I'm going to test other roms in the meantime to check if it's my hardware. I was unsuccessful restoring my stock backup =.=
edit: nevermind. not a rom issue at all!. slapped the phone to fix speakers

I see, thanks for info. I thought it was compatible because in an update it stated "patches for oreo support".
Is this running the Android Go optimizations? My only experience with Oreo is on my OnePlus 3 (which obviously doesn't turn on Android Go) and I'm not sure is the Go system is turned on by default for devices that meet its requirements.

How stable is this ROM? Thinking of making my surnia my daily driver if I can unlock it. Galaxy s4 mini VE (I9195I) development is borderline dead
And why you can't download it from the Official Page? There's the device but it says no files uploaded
plz do something about the camcoder to fix it amd it will become complete bugless rom for regular use......
u might also use footej camera and edit it as default camera of this rom.....
btw great work though....
god bless u....

So i must install PE 31.05 after Miui12 after PE 22.08?
Safety Net fails.
Followed procedure to a T. Might want to add to Known Issues.
You install the 11.0.5 firmware and the 5/31 rom. Then just install the 12.0.3 firmware, the link is in the second post of the developer, and then the current rom. Remember to wipe everything, including the system, before installing the one on 31.05. Then you can install the current and the current firmware without wipe.
I'm also stuck on bootloop with mi logo. I have wiped data. Made no difference. I've also tried wiping everything, then reinstalling MIUI official again (using MiFlash tool), then reinstalling PixelExperience again (using TWRP 3.4.0.0) - which resulted in the same boot loop, never getting past the mi logo.
I'm using a 9T EEA version, and was trying to install PixelExperience Plus edidition.
I was going to try and get some support through the telegram group, but I need a mobile phone number to create an account, which means I need to get the phone working first!
UPDATE: I have now also tried starting with both EEA and Global MIUI roms (12.0.3.0), and both PE and PE+ editions. the outcome is always the same. TWRP says everything was successful, but when I reboot it gets stuck in and endless loop
I come from Miui 12.0.3.0, flashed rom, format data, rebooted,
My device is in bootloop. Please help
When i flash miui 12.0.3.0 again, safetynet fails
Thanks

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

Many many thanks for your work friend, and for the explanations and screenshots.
I feel motivated to go, to the next step. Ehehehe.
Thanx very much for your efforts!! I have a question regarding the NikGapps: Which files do I have to download if I only want to have core functions, comparable with the pico package of Open Gapps?

Just core... This is minimal nikgapps package.
But if you would like to use Android auto you have to install that addon as well.
Thank you Ceracz. Any possibility to be official with OTA support?

Battery is good!
With MIUI, battery with 2 years need to be charged every day, with this rom i installed Magisk, universal GMS Doze and greenify and i have 40% battery left, with same usage and i am on second day of usage.
In addition, this rom is more fluid and faster, and bloatware free.
I found a terrible bug:
Call dialer is not working properly, i had to replace it by google call dialer app.
If i try to call someone, i only hear the ringing, i can´t see anything and no way to turn off the call.
Besides that, it´s working flawless i think!
If Im installing the linage os freshly from stock MIUI, I just need to wipe the system and then install the Linage os package? Awesome work, I am glad to see this phone still supported

You need to follow the steps mentioned above...
First step, is unlocking the bootloader, then you need to flash the compatible TWRP in fastboot, and then follow the steps, exactly as described above and you will be fine.

There's no official build yet but there is no problem to prepare an unofficial one.
Thanks for good and stable ROM.
Everything works perfect, battery good (2-3 days of light use phone)

Hi. Will this go also for the Mi Pad 4 Plus? Thanks!
As always, thanks for your hard work..
Nav buttons are on the lower right.
Nice to see this one! Will try soon.
will MicroG work with this rom ?
Hi, I'm trying to build that rom with your device/kernel and vendor sources and LOS19.1 sources. But build ist always failing with a lot of errors from frameworks/base/packages/SystemUI/src/com/android/systemui/
Normally I'm building LOS17.1 or LOS18.1 or AOSP A12.1 GSI successfull. But with a GSi the phone isn't working on my Pad 4. That's why I want build a rom for it

Hi, frameworks/base is a LOS part, not a clover device part. Please update and check your built tree.
I suggest you build the official device (e.g. blueline) first, then build the clover.
Thanks.
It's trebuchet which is the cause of the error I have found out
