Question S7 FE doesnt see Buds+ that already paired with Galaxy S21 and more... - Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE

I have Samsung ecosystem - S21 phone, Watch4 and Buds+ . recently I bought SE7 FE and I can't make it even to see earbuds - tried both Galaxy Wear and just "standard" bluetooth connection. Scan does not find any BT devices around. Is it a way to run self test to see if BT even works?
Another question - some of my apps now are running in Full screen mode. And I can't figure how to change that - there is no Full screen apps setting under Display section anymore - any idea?

If your Buds+ sound quality is good, Do Not upgrade their firmware. I recently had the sound Q of my one pair trashed by a firmware upgrade. Roll back on them is a pain to do. The last version firmware on the last manufactured Buds+ is the best.

I dont think it is the same issue- mine just dont show up in S7 - I think the problem is on tablet side to be honest. Need to find another pair of BT headphones to test it out.

Try the akps I posted on the other link thread.
First uninstall all the current ones. Remember to firewall block them. Known to work on Pie and 10 at least with stock N10+ snaps.
Lol, the way to flash firmware on a pair of Buds+ is not too Samsung roulette.

How many devices are they paired to? To my knowledge you can only pair Galaxy Buds/Buds+ to two different devices.

Not true at least on the N10+. I have pair of Buds and 3 pairs of Buds+.
Here's 3 of those that are set up to automatically pair. The one pair of Buds+ is waiting a reflash to fix a Samsung firmware "upgrade" that trashed their sound.

Chromecast screen casting

I don't seem to have the ability to cast my screen to the chromecast.... Went to the app on my new edge and no longer have the option... Anyone with a chromecast and an edge have it?? Kinda sucks.. Had it on my note 3..
Sorry, I didn't realize that you wanted to broadcast the screen. I send movies and stuff to the screen from the chrome browser or apps that show movies.

It's not currently supported. search for mirrorenabler.

I'm having the same issue on my AT&T Note Edge. It is not on the list of supported Chromecast screen mirroring phones but it seems as though it should work regardless. Unfortunately MirrorEnabler requires root and I dont think the AT&T Note Edge has been rooted yet.
I tried this today. Not working. It just causes Cc to show black screen.
Chromecast is working great on my Sprint Edge, no problems at all.
I have CC and it works fine on my rooted edge for TMO
AT&T Note Edge. Been using it since day 1 . Never had an issue with it. I downloaded the Chromecast app and was working.

I wanted to check and see if everyone is talking about the same thing. Screen casting is not standard issue on the Chromecast yet, so can those of you who say you have it please confirm that you are able to cast ANYTHING you see on your phone to your TV? I don't have this function with my chromecast, and I never have on any of my devices
As I type this, it is being casted to my tv...I'm on tmo note edge, nk3 rooted.
Until you att folk get some sort of safestrap or another towelroot, not much can be done. Unless Google chooses to support it, but it's unlikely considering the limited amount there are.

Activity Alerts Not Working

My watch used to notify me when I had been inactive or active for a specific length of time. However, it doesn't do this anymore. I have looked in the settings on the Gear S2 (S Health > Settings > Alert) and all the options are active. I also noticed that in the S Health app on my phone there are notifications options. This is what I see:

Not sure if the grayed out section for Trackers is causing the problem? It wouldn't explain why it doesn't alert me anymore when I'm active though. I have tried clearing data for the gear app and factory resetting the watch, but still no luck :/
Has anyone else experienced this? For the record, I am on a Note 5 running Marshmallow.
I just did a factory reset of both my Note 5 and my Gear S2 and the problem still persists. I'm starting to think this may just be a Marshmallow issue? I may downgrade to Lollipop and see if that fixes it.
Anyone with Marshmallow on their phone and BPA4 on their Gear S2 able to confirm? Do activity/inactivity alerts work for you?

I chatted with Samsung again and they said there wasn't any known issues with Marshmallow creating these problems with the Gear S2. We're still pretty early in the life of Marshmallow though, so it may just not be logged.
It would really be helpful if anyone could either confirm whether or not activity alerts work for them on the Gear S2 paired with a Marshmallow phone.
I had that working for months, and lost it after a Gear S2 update that came long before my phone updated to marshmallow. Uninstalled Gear manager and hard reset the watch to no avail. Thus in my opinion this isn't a MM issue.
I've had my Gear S2 for about 10 days. I've been looking for a way to get "stand up, you lazy bum" reminders. Hopefully Samsung will be rolling out an update to enable (or re-enable?) this function. I had it with my Runtastic and I miss it.

Yeah, mine used to do that. I thought it quit recently, but maybe it was the BPA4 update that broke it? Hopefully, the next one fixes it. Glad I'm not the only one with this problem.
Anyone else able to confirm?
My activity alerts are working again now. I reset the watch once again - although that may not have been necessary - and re-added the widget for activity timing. About a half-hour later I got an alert to get off my butt and move around.
So, there you have it. Running 6.0.1 on my S6 edge with BPA4 on my S2 Classic and activity alerts are back.

Yes! This did it. I didn't reset my watch. I just added the widget and then hit start. Everything is working again! Samsung really needs to make this more obvious. Thanks for the help!

Hi there! My wife bought Versa 2 and paired with Huawei P30 Lite, according to Fitbit phone is supported.
It's working..... until is not. Sometimes seems not to sync. And not sure why.
I changed Fitbit app battery configuration several times, when doing watch is working perfectly, but time after time, watch just doesn't received any notificacion.
- Is there any way watch to advise user sync is not working?
I.e. I have an Amazfit Bip 1st gen and there is an icon for missing bluetooth (it depends of the watchface sure).
- Same from phone side, is there any way for APP to be always alive?
Again, Amazfit App has an option to be always in notificacion zone, to avoid being closed by OS.
Do someone has any app to look out for bluetooth connection? I want to be sure if bluetooth is the problem (maybe no). Other possibility is Huawei battery behavior, maybe close app even if I try not to do it.
To see if it works correctly I look at the weather app and see the update time, if it is more than 1 hours sync stopped and need force close phone app. Of course you need to exclude the Fitbit phone app from battery phone optimization
Nice. Also just "block" Fitbit app to not to be closed. Just slide to do it.

Reading on a few forums they say the Flip3 has ANT+ but when I tried the AntTester app it shows I don't. And it wont connect to any ANT+ devices.

I never used it, but you got me curious.

After I installed the following

And this is what it looks like my Tablet S4, where ANT+ works fine.
Interesting. On my N10+ Pie variant all of those are preinstalled except the Ant USB service.
I plugged a USB Ant+ stick and now it looks to be work. So after installing the extra services it can work with with usb-on the go.

Does the USB ANT+ stick need to be plugged in to your phone at all times to achieve the connectivity you're looking for?
Also, is there a mfg's app that needs to be installed (ex:FitBit app)?
Just curious,as all my wireless accessories only need Bluetooth for functionality. I'd heard of ANT+, but, never had the necessity for it.

Yes the USB Stick needs to be plugged in for connectivity.
I have lots of equipment that uses ANT+, Heart Rate strap. Bicycle Lights, Bicycle Power Pedals, wheel pressure.. etc..
Depending on what your trying to do you need the apps.
My particular use case is I use Zwift on the phone connected to my indoor trainer or treadmil and wanted the HR monitor.
I got it working now, but without HDMI output it's kinda half arsed.. so back to the S9+ in the gym.
Not good. It's like others described.

Question Tesla app / galaxy watch 5

Hi guys
I'm getting this phone imported to the UK but have a couple of questions I really should have looked into before ordering!
I drive a Tesla and use my phone for keyless entry. Works on Bluetooth. Will that work alright with the fold2?
I need to replace my aging and breaking Galaxy Watch Active too. Ideally I'd just go for the latest Galaxy Watch 5 but just want to check it will work? Will it? If not, what would?

I had problem with my Samsung watch 5 pro sometimes it would be unresponsive also have problem with app like facer and watchmaker not working. Once I root my Fold 2 everything work I had to add magisk-module-miui-cn2global-lite and install Samsung wear and install galaxy watch5 plugin.

There are no problems with this phone and Tesla I can confirm. In fact is say it's better than my galaxy fold 3

But no galaxy wear app on the oppo market.
Got the app and still no go.

I have a watch 5 pro and the fold 2 unroot, I use this method and now my watch 5 pro works now on the phone, it really works!

Hi, can you share the steps? I followed Jip's instructions, to pair via samsung health. But it always gives an error when installing the watch 5 plugin. It says there is a problem parsing the package
UPDATE: I finally got it to work. Please see my post here if anyone is interested how I did it..
