[Completed] Honor 6 plus overheating and battery draining issue after upgrade to latest version

Hello,
I have got the update and updated my Honor six plus on 17th December 2016. After updation my phone started overheating and battery start draining so fast. I have clean master installed in my phone and have to run that so many time to cool down the phone.
Is there any solution for this issue or can I downgrade my phone to previous version?

Do you have a defect? I read that again he had an error that had the april patch and, all this is for stock?

I’m running the firmware linked in the OP, and I’m facing no bugs. USB connections work fine. I thought there were some issues with the fingerprint scanner, but they seem to have been resolved overnight. This is for the XT-1900-1 Retail variant. The update is only available on Retail and Fi on channel “retus” so far, and this thread has links to both the fastboot images.

There is a noticeable improvement in performance after upgrading to Android 8.1, and this update in particular has great battery management. I did some light gaming, video calling for an hour, and extensive streaming and web browsing, all on LTE, and was able to get an SOT of about 9 hours.

Been running this since Saturday on the XT1900-7 32GB/3GB UK
Working fine so far, no problems.

Hi guys. It's this only for XT1900-1 or could it work on XT1900-7 variant (reteu) too?

Battery life is great.

I drained slightly faster battery to use compared to 8.0 (factory reset) someone else happens?

Even I am facing battery draining issue more than 10% over night and even phone is not in use it's drains a lot

I have great battery life with June update (A1), getting 8 hs SOT

And battery is already fixed on C.03 7 to 8 hours SOT same average when Im still on coloros

for me is better C.02 rather than C.03 coz battery management is very terrible

I am considering the X2 Pro. I have a mate 20 pro just now. How are oppo for updates? Will the camera be an improvement over what I have. The phone looks good. Wireless charging will be a miss but I can live without it

Good so far! I've had the phone around a a week and had 2 software updates and currently sitting at the May security patch.
Others on here are on the June Security Patch too so Oppo seem pretty good so far! [emoji4]

No, global version here (Australia) but I did VPN to Switzerland I think to get the latest update with June security patch.

it should automatically appear in the settings under software update, but some regions get it later, as usual.

You can actually download oppo's roms here:
https://www.coloros.com/en/rom
Some countries are outdated, you can also try with any VPN you are comfortable with , I use expressVPN myself.

Having a real quick look, if anyone is after the latest update with June Security patch then it's available for download if you choose 'India'.

Thank you so much that actually worked, but the version that came up is A.24, is there an A.25?

I got my phone from vodafone this week and the software was CPH2025VF_11_A.12 with saftypatch from 5th march 2020. Today the update CPH2025VF_11_A.26 appeard with safetypatch from 5th may 2020.

I had the Mate 20 Pro before this too. Not sure if camera is an improvement as not really had chance to check it out (but I know the M20P had a fantastic camera, and I'm assuming FX2P will be at least as good from reviews). If you happy with M20P, then might be worth hanging on to it for a bit - I only swapped as wanted the 5g capability and larger capacity

The numbers don't actually mean anything, it's just randomly numbering the versions in their respective regions and doesn't necessarily mean that .25 is newer and/or more advanced than .24.
I'm in the Czech republic and had .18 as the most recent one, had to change to Germany with VPN to receive June's .24.

My oneplus 8 pro can do it so if oppo can do it ill consider buying that one

since I got this phone, I've had the problem that it turns off automatically, no matter what time.

I've had this one for two days and updated to the latest miui OTA. I haven't had any issues yet with it turning on/off at random times - I know this isn't helping you guys but at least it's ruling out that all phones are doing it.

Same problem, In latest MIUI 13 (13.0.2 Global) the phone switch off automatic 3 - 4 by day, I already follow the steps at the YouTube video at the comments here. Any solution? Is it a software or hardware issue?

Must be a staggered update, I live in New Zealand and after I setup my phone it mentioned there was an update which I installed. So far I've had no issues with the phone

Looks like you're running a different rom. Mine was from an official seller, bootloader still locked etc.

My bootloader too, it's just a theme from the themestore ^^ but you have the global firmware i have the eu firmware that's why you have miui 13.0.5 and i have 13.0.3 because i have the eu version...

Mine was EU 13.0.3 too, and I flash to Global 13.0.5 with xiaomi tool

People, the problem seems to POCO Launcher.. i'm using nova launcher since last night and no reboot happened at least until now, zero reboots overnight in idle mode.
Try another launcher and please let's tell our experiences.
