Question Unable install APK - Xiaomi 12S Ultra

Hi everyone,
When running into trouble with Revolut apps on the 12SU (China ROM), I tried to install an older version via APK from apkpure. I am however unable to install APK's. It says "couldn't install. Error 999" I have tried several other apps, same thing.
I already gave permission to install unknown apps to firefox, chrome and the xiaomi app installer app, but to no avail.
Any thoughts?

Google Maps not installing (Mytouch)

Hey guys, I just installed Cynogenmod 4.2.15 on my Mytouch. I tried to update Google Maps however it wouldn't allow me, it kept generating a "package not correctly signed". I heard that by deleting the map app from it's install folder (From the system > apps folder) then trying to download and install it from the market would solve the problem. However, it did not and now I don't even have maps at all. I tried to download the .apk file and installing it then but I just got an error saying "maps could not be installed on this phone".
Anybody know how to get the latest Google Maps to install? Thanks in advanced

[Q] Tablet wont' connect to play store

I bought for my kids the a generic android tablet. I set one up and was able to child proof it by deleting the browser and gmail and google talk. It works beautifully. Then I went to work on my other tablet. I deleted the browser, without backing up, and now I can't get to martket. I get the server error message.
I have dutifully searched the boards before asking any questions. I have:
From boot mode cleared the cache, reset to factory setttings (which did not restore the browser), installed the Google apps for 4.0 gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip which did not install a browser but did install Google talk.
I have signed out and resigned in and restarted play store many times, I have deleted and reinstalled the apk.
I have tried to install google framework apk where it gives me a parse error.
I unistalled play store and installed market hoping for the update and reinstall of play store. I get server error
I have installer market enabler.
Google sync doesn't work either.
The device came rooted. I use es file explorer.
Android 4.0.4
Kernel 3.0.8+
Please. Please help!
Bump!

[Q] Can't install an app on 4.4.2

I'm trying to install an older version of Candy Crush Saga on my HTC Desire 610 running Android 4.4.2. I uninstalled the app, downloaded the older version, but it won't install, saying the installation failed. I tried installing through adb, but I got this message:
[INSTALL_FAILED_UID_CHANGED]
When I tried reinstalling the app from Google Play, I get this message:
Unknown error code during application install: "-24"
I tried looking through both Windows and ES File Explorer, and there seem to be no residue/leftover files.
My phone is not rooted. What can I do?

Cannot install APK files?

I have Android 7.0 on my Note 5. I'm trying to install an older version of Gmail (I have the Unknown Sources thing already turned on) . I have tried downloading the APK files from various sites, but every time I click "install" it always says it can't install the file because it's corrupt.
I've had a few updates since getting the Note (it's been about a year now since I got it from AT&T) and I think one of those updates may be what's causing it to stop installing the APKs. Obviously other changes have been made under the hood, but it has to be the OS because I could install APKs when I first got the phone (back when it had Marshmallow on it).
I've tried wiping the cache and even doing a factory reset and it still won't install the APK file. I've tried several APK files and I keep getting the same response; App not installed. The package appears to be corrupt.
What's really odd is yesterday I was reading an article and it mentioned installing a APK for Google Now integration with Nova Launcher. I thought what the heck and downloaded the APK. It installed without any problems. I got this APK from the same place (APKMirror) I was getting the older APK versions of Gmail. I wonder why this one worked and the Gmail ones didn't?
If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it.
Thanks.
I managed to install an older version of ES File Explorer this morning. I got it from the APKMirror webite. Unfortunately, none of the Gmail APKs will work. Obviously I can still install APK files, so I'm going to have to search around on some other sites and see if I can find a good one for Gmail.

App install problem

I recently started using a G3 again and I have flashed different roms and had the same problem (currently on the latest pie Pixel Experience) . The problem I have is that some apps won't install (Snapchat, FB, IG) I've tried clearing caches, data, removing and readding my Google account with no luck. I've tried installing the apks but they either don't install or they do install but won't work either see the app as a package name or they disappear and then I'm unable to install or update the apps as it says another user has installed an incompatible version.
Is there anyway to fix this as I'm missing out on some apps I use frequently.
Thanks for your help.
I have the same problem on AOSP Extended 5.8 when i updated it, i no longer could install Instagram from Play Store, i dont use Fb or Snapchat so maybe i cant install these apps either.
I downloaded OGInsta + and use instagram that way. I suppose installing simple Instagram apk will do.
