How To Guide [GUIDE] Install LineageOS 19.1 with gapps - Xiaomi 12

Notes:* I am not a developer.
* I did all of this on Arch Linux, you shouldn't have trouble doing this on either Linux or Windows.
* See the Telegram group if you have issues - search for "Xiaomi 12 OFFICIAL" on TG, unfortunately cannot link directly to it on XDA.
* This is an unofficial version of LineageOS
* Thanks to @gr0ndpa whose writeup I based this guide on.
* Massive thanks to @ArianK16a who actually made LOS work on Xiaomi 12, despite Xiaomi breaking GPL licensing and not providing full kernel sources for Android 12
Prerequisites:* Your bootloader must be unlocked. This thread does not cover this.
* You should use latest platform tools on Windows.
* Your device should be charged above 50%. Well, it doesn't have to be, but this is just for your phone's safety.
* Download 4 required .img files - boot, vendor_boot, dtbo and recovery from the latest build that has them all - rest miss recovery/vendor_boot, linking latest one at the time of writing for convenience
* Download latest ROM of your choosing (GMS=with gapps, VANILLA=no gapps) from arian-ota/ota
* If you intend to root the device with Magisk, also download latest boot.img
* Make a proper backup if needed and push it to another storage.
First steps:* After you have unlocked the bootloader, device will reboot automatically. Finish the setup, enable developer settings and finally enable USB-Debugging in developer settings.
* In Windows open the folder in which you have unzipped the platform tools.
* Hold left shift and press right click, click "open powershell window here"
* Connect the phone via USB
* Execute the following in Windows Terminal and grant the permissions for this PC on your device:
Code:
adb devices
* Execute the following to either reboot to fastboot or fastbootd. Flashing works from either, I used fastbootd:
Code:
adb reboot fastboot # fastbootd
adb reboot bootloader # fastboot
The flashing procedure:* Flash boot, vendor_boot, dtbo and recovery by executing the following in Windows Terminal:
Code:
fastboot flash boot lineage-19.1-20220618-UNOFFICIAL-cupid-boot.img
fastboot flash vendor_boot lineage-19.1-20220618-UNOFFICIAL-cupid-vendor_boot.img
fastboot flash dtbo lineage-19.1-20220618-UNOFFICIAL-cupid-dtbo.img
fastboot flash recovery lineage-19.1-20220618-UNOFFICIAL-cupid-recovery.img
* Finally execute the following, or reboot to recovery by holding VOLUME UP and POWER buttons until you see Mi logo on your device's screen:
Code:
fastboot reboot recovery # or bootloader
* If you get MIUI recovery, reboot back to fastboot, you should hopefully get LOS fastbootd now and be able to redo the steps and get LOS recovery next
Sideload the ROM from LOS recovery:* ALL DATA WILL BE ERASED WITH THE NEXT STEP
* Go to Factory reset and perform Format data / Factory reset
* Go to Apply update, followed by Apply from ADB
* Execute the following Windows Terminal:
Code:
adb sideload lineage-19.1-20220810-UNOFFICIAL-GMS-cupid.zip
* Reboot your device
Rooting:* Follow this thread but use the latest boot.img you downloaded earlier instead of the one from stock ROM.
Certification:* If you won't fake the build prop to get certified status, you should at least follow Alphabet's instructions to make sure your device does not potentially get blacklisted from Play services
* Certification is required to run some apps - i.e. Netflix, Revolut, ...
* You can view certification state in Play store -> Profile -> Settings -> About -> Play Protect certification. This will cache the status. For a while, how to force the check again is shown down below
* Your device will not be certified on this ROM because it does not attempt to fake build props
* To get known good props for security update date and device fingerprint, you need either a rooted device with MIUI you want to extract the values from by executing the following in root adb shell:
Code:
grep -e fingerprint -e security_patch /system/build.prop
Or you can download latest recovery .zip from the download thread and open the file located in it from /META-INF/com/android/metadata in the archive
* Here's an example of the two values needed for my EEA device I got from the recovery zip:
Code:
2022-07-01
Xiaomi/cupid_eea/cupid:12/SKQ1.211006.001/V13.0.19.0.SLCEUXM:user/release-keys
* Install the following module through Magisk https://github.com/Magisk-Modules-Repo/MagiskHidePropsConf
* Run the following:
Code:
adb shell
su
props
1 # Set the fingerprint to the one you obtained
5 # Add a custom prop with the name ro.build.version.security_patch, it should already exist, but it is most likely wrong
* Install the following module through Magisk
Releases · kdrag0n/safetynet-fix
Google SafetyNet attestation workarounds for Magisk - kdrag0n/safetynet-fix
github.com
* After the final reboot, remove storage of "Google Play Store" app to refresh the cache manually, open Play store and check the status, you should be in the green now
Known issues:* Face recognition libraries are not included due to legal reasons, if one is interested in adding them, see the discussion starting here
* Minimum brightness is too bright. This can be mitigated by adding the "Extra Dim" card in the notification menu and long-pressing it to configure your desired intensity.
* When Smooth Display (120Hz) is enabled, screen flashes/redraws when it changes to and from 90Hz. This is more noticeable with lower brightness and no light in the room, and not really noticeable in daylight. Can be triggered by opening settings and typing a word and waiting half a second.
* Netflix(and only Netflix) is not available from the Play store on GSM ROM even with certification. Netflix provides an APK on their website, but that still gives me an unsupported device message. https://help.netflix.com/en/node/57688

Thanks for the great guide. I was able to install it without any issues whatsoever.

So is everything (including Fingerprint, all cameras, stereo speakers, BT, WiFi, Dual-SIM, VoLTE, VoWiFi, Fast charging) working?

除了人脸识别之外,一切都很好。
Translation: Everything is fine except for the face recognition.

Does the camera work with the original functions?
How long will this lineageOS be supported for the xiaomi12?
"Download 4 required .img files - boot, vendor_boot, dtbo and recovery from the latest build"
What does that mean, "4"? I see on the website ( https://github.com/arian-ota/ota/releases/tag/19.1-cupid_gms-2fd712b6 ) only 3 files to download?

xiaomi cam is not working on LOS ... you have to use gcam etc ...
read carefully ... you have to use these 4 files from 20220618 release and only the gms rom image from 20220810 ...

Installed last night. Cant use Wallet, Google Play Store is not certified, SMS receiving problems sometimes. Google Assistant says it isn't available for this language, but it is set to english.
Can i somehow get google play certified and wallet working? Tried to register play sotre id on google site but that didnt help.

Thanks @C0rn3j for the banger guide , and thanks @ArianK16a for the ROM, feels awesome to ditch this absolute cancer that is MIUI !
Performance and battery life is much better on LOS, a few features are missing but I guess we'll get them in a few weeks/months.
Much love ❣

Installed it two weeks ago, no root
- Camera not working but fixed after OTA update
- SMS issue (can send but cannot receive), fixed with firmware update
- missing calls (phone never rings...) applied firmware update, still testing
- Battery drain very high - fixed with disabling AOD (or at a glance...)
- Tethering (wifi and USB) not working, phone UI freezes
- Still having issues with Auto-brightness

Hotspot Is not working and the dev Is not working on It for now. It Is a big issue in my opinion. Have you try to get gpay working?

Hi
Since i have done the OTA i`m very cautious on what kernel to patch, i did not had time to check and double check.
But once i will root i will install the Magisk props and emulate a proper fingerprint, that should do the trick (it worked on my Xperia 5)

probably a stupid question but:
is faking a fingerprint possible without magisk, for example by editing a with adb pulled build.prop?

So wallet not working and hotspot not working?

Are things like fingerprint working with this? Pretty sad how small the custom rom community for this device is. Great phone but really sucks with MIUI. Hoping to flash this when i have time.

fingerprint works like a charm

2. Upgrade built-in root and unroot for magisk 17.1
3. Add remove dm and cancel forced encryption
2018-10-10 22:09:

the original download link has expired.
Updated Nubian z18 mini download address
The optimizations/changes:
* Delete redundant languages, keep English, add Chinese language, default Chinese.
* Modify the default configuration, for example, the default time zone is East Eight Zone, default screen brightness, default vibration, default 24 hours, default return button on the right, default Chinese and so on.
* Modify the default configuration file path to reduce the possibility of conflicts with other people's compiled versions.
* Adjust and optimize the Chinese text and description, and re-edit all the items one by one, which is more accurate, understandable and humanized. Also added display mtp enable off display, file operation result display, operation page title display, permission description when modifying permissions, etc. UI text display.

* Solve the problem of interface jam when using the simulation operation (the simulation operation is mainly for testing the theme, and no actual operation).
* Add the manual installation root function in Advanced Options > root system. Add a display root system option on this basis for manual operation.
* Added the ability to unenforce encryption, in advanced options > Unforce Encryption. You can remove the official system to force encryption and cancel the check.

* MTP is enabled by default. In the rec state, you can also connect your phone to your computer to facilitate file copying.
* Modify the logo interface, modify the header of the main interface page, and add the display phone model and team name, author name.
* Fix some logical relationships and modify some interface displays.
* Added remove root function
* Added remove power-on password function
* Added remove battery information function
* Added signature boot function, requires system to have complete system, mainly to prevent official rec cover twrp

If ZTE gets the camera quality and software right, they could absolutely destroy the Elephone U Pro and the Xiaomi mi note 3 when it comes to value for money. For my next phone it's going to be between the ZTE Nubia z18 mini, Elephone U or the Asus ZenFone 5, so it's going to be a hard choice

[Tutorial][9.0][GSI][OOS] Flashing Oneplus Oxygen OS on Nokia 7 plus (B2N)

Hi guys, I started to be bored of AOSP roms, so I started taking a look if I can get OOS from OnePlus working. Thanks to the amazing work on Erfan (please consider donating a beer to this guy here https://www.paypal.me/erfanoabdi ), without him we wouldn't be possible to get ROMS such as MIUI on Nokia Devices and Others. Allright, let's get it started.
First, You should download The AOSP-based OOS made by Erfan from here https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/gsi/OxygenOS-AB-9-20190630-ErfanGSI.img.7z (if there is an update i'll update the link) and the "other files" from my Drive repo: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1mdW6RBeLXVWnI7vpzbwIVHYG5onUXY9W
Before getting started, I have to tell you this:
HTML:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*
* Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
* cause of male impotence.
*/
Allright, let's get started:
Since Oneplus decided to use F2FS instead of classical EXT4, you can't flash the GSI with TWRP or fastboot from Nokia/Fih. Instead, you have to flash it with AOSP (Google) platform-tools
To get the latest platform-tools, including the adb and fastboot command, download from this link:
For Linux
For Windows
Also, for Windows, you need USB drivers here, after you downloaded it, install it, following the on screen instructions.
Now, after you got platform-tools zip and the Archive containing OxygenOS-AB-9-20190630-ErfanGSI.img and the Drive files , extract it somewhere in the same folder on your PC
Now, go into that folder (cd) from your terminal of choice till you get into the folder containing fastboot and adb executables.
1.Reboot your phone into download mode, either by while plugging it on USB pressing volume - and power button, or by ADB, according you have (USB Debugging) enabled in Developer Option
HTML:
adb reboot bootloader
2.Flash the April boot.img with this command
HTML:
fastboot flash boot April-stock-boot.img
3. Reboot your phone in Download Mode
4. Flash the GSI on the system partition
HTML:
fastboot flash system OxygenOS-AB-9-20190630-ErfanGSI.img
5. Wipe data
HTML:
fastboot -w
6. Boot Temporary TWRP
HTML:
fastboot boot Nokia7plusv3.2.1.0-noflash.img
7. Now go enable MTP so we can get the Permissiver_v4.zip transfered to the internal storage. After that, go to Install and select Permissiver_v4.zip
8. Boot phone, first boot should take 5 mins or more.
9. Transfer gms.apk on storage and install the app.
10. Reboot in download mode, boot temporary TWRP
11. Mount system partiton, go on TWRP File Manager, then remove the following apps:
For sim to work: remove com.quicinc.cne.CNEService.CNEServicApp
And com.qti.dpmserviceapp
By removing this, you remove the voLTE functionability. But that's the only way to get it working.
on /system/system/app and /system/system/priv-app
Everything should be good to go
Tested on TA-1046 dual sim
WARNING: THIS IS GOING TO DELETE EVERYTHING THAT YOU HAVE ON YOUR PHONE, AND YOU SHOULD HAVE UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER.
my sims were working on first setup no needed of removing apps you mentioned,
however here are somethings to know
it doesn't show build number, Model Number & OOS version
doesn't show charging(weather rapid or DASH)
unable to ad face unlock

These bugs are caused by the actual GSI, because it is running ob different hardware compared to OnePlus. By fixing them, this will result in a buggy experience. You can talk to Erfan to give him an overall idea.

PAY ATTENTION!! DIFFERENT THEN MOST DEVICES! CURRENTLY TWRP DOESNT SUPPORT OUR DEVICE SO FASTBOOT MUST BE USED INSTEAD! GAPPS IS ALSO INCLUDED IN THE BUILD DUE TO SAME LACK OF TWRP!
(if you are comfortable with fastboot just run the following commands from fastbootd, if you are unsure of the procedure please read on IT IS DIFFERENT THEN TWRP!
Code:
(boot to bootloader)
fastboot reboot fastboot
fastboot -w
fastboot update lineage-18.0-<builddate>-UNOFFICIAL-hotdogg+GAPPS_fastboot.zip
Boot to bootloader
from terminal/command prompt: fastboot reboot fastboot
(Don't forget the above step! This will bring us into fastbootd mode. Regular bootloader/fastboot doesn't have access to all needed partitions for flashing. You will see 'partition not found' errors)
Note: In order to access fastbootd mode, we must have stock recovery flashed until TWRP is fixed
if you are coming from a different rom wipe userdata by typing fastboot -w
now type fastboot update filename.zip where filename is the name of the downloaded zip. (e.g, lineage-18.0-20200723-UNOFFICIAL-hotdogg+GAPPS_fastboot.zip)

* Major Release, do a full wipe if you have problems. I actually STRONGLY recommend a full wipe anyways.
* For all intents and purposes this is a Stable release. I've done extensive testing and everything has worked as it should or above and beyond. Now on to the updates
* A lot of just under the hood optimization and cleanup. There some configuration options that weren't exactly optimized for our device, dalvik config is a good example.
* 5G support is on par with stock ROM, if not better.
* Auto brightness has been improved
* Some cosmetic issues have been addressed like status bar padding and FOD icon centering.
* Fixed a wakelock issue when using Always on Display
* Adjustable display refresh rate code has been improved.
* Updated vendor libs from hotdog Android R OB2 to allow full use of Android 11 Display HAL
* Added Stereo in call recording support
* Various audio fixups, including increasing volume steps from 7 to 15 and raising the max volume level to be on par with stock OOS
* Optimized Always on Display: fixed wakelock issue, lowed default AOD brightness, as well as enabled auto brightness when on AOD if enabled by user within settings
* Many upstream changes, fixes, and improvments.
** This will most likely be my final release as i have moved on to the Snapdragon variant of the Note 20 Ultra 5G. Thanks for the support guys and I hope you enjoy my work. Hopefully someone will pick up where I left off.
Dec 26
* Merry Christmas!
* Updated ROM base to lineage-18.1
* Notification pull-down menu now shows 3 rows of tiles as expected
* Added "Minimum Refresh Rate" settings option in Settings > Display instead of hard-coding to 90htz always. With this new option choosing 90htz will (obviously) make it always 90htz , and choosing 60htz is similar to the "Dynamic" option in stock OOS where it decides based on what app your using.
* (With version 18.1 most, if not all of the expected LineageOS features have been merged)
* Fixed "choppy" display frame rate that would happen from time to time
* Fingerprint recognition speed improvement.
* Fixed excessive battery drain when Always On Display is active
* Update dalvik configs (they were configured for an 8GB RAM devices, we have 12)
* UI: Enabled blur
* Fixed IMS from spamming system logs
* Fixed booting with SELinux Enforcing on "user" build types
* Enabled SELinux enforcing
Nov 20
* Fixed up all the small bugs from test build
* Standalone 5G (NR SA) support, requires being on 10.0.39 or newer modem. Also be aware the signal icon will show no bars when connected to NR SA, this is just a cosmetic bug.
* Updated audio configs to to match OOS 10.0.39
* Added audio volume policy , should fix the lower then normal volume when below 50%
* SELinux is currently set to "Permissive" until I work out all the sepolicy errors
Oct 14
* Initial internal test Release

when tryping fastboot reboot fastboot it says "fastboot: usage: unknown reboot target fastboot"
Is there any chance this would work on the Sprint OnePlus 7 Pro 5G? If not are there any roms that do currently work for Sprints model

New build uploaded. I recommend everyone to update to it as it addresses the last few bugs i'm aware of and all the LOS specific features are fully merged
I got this installed and it's fantastic. For some reason my camera is capped at 12mp, even on other camera apps. Is there anything I can do about that?

That's normal,even on OOS
First time installing a custom ROM but when I run "fastboot update lineage-18.1-<builddate>-UNOFFICIAL-hotdogg+GAPPS_fastboot.zip" I get an error reading "Fastboot: error: failed to open zip file 'lineage-18.0-<builddate>-UNOFFICIAL-hotdogg+GAPPS_fastboot.zip': I/O error
EDIT: I got it working
I've installed the latest build (18.1, build 12/26), but I can't change notification, ringtone, or alarm through settings. Clicking on any of those restarts the settings app.
EDIT: I tried to do a workaround through tasker, but when I go to choose the sound I get the following popup:
Error: android.content.ActivityNotFoundException: No Activity found to handle intent { act=android.intent.action.RINGTONE_PICKER (has extras) }.
I wasn't able to find a working solution through google. I tried clearing the cache for settings and restarting, but it didn't fix anything. I also can't use the default launcher as it just continually crashes, but the pixel launcher works fine.

hmmm. i'll take a look. tbh i restored stock like a week back to get updated libs and then my ISP was having all types of issues , one thing lead to another. blah blah blah.. i'm back now though
does this have pocket mode? or check proximity sensor before wakeup?N im happy your back
Also I dont seem to get the same signal as on aosip or oos not sure why switched it to global and im on the new sim
Great ROM so far! Just got one thing to add. Anyone seeing low WiFi signal? My house isn't big at all but when I'm in the kitchen, which is about 20 ft away form the router, it'll keep switching between data and wifi because it says the signal is poor. My gf's stock pixel is at full bars in the kitchen. Any thoughts? Also, I reflashed and still same issue.
I've been watching this therad ever since you released it, and it looks to keep getting better,, so kudos to you man! I have the T-Mobile variant on the Mint netowork, so I'm always afraid to try anything but I haven't done much research on if you can flash it to a T-Mobile device. Let me know, thanks!

I have the same phone, also went from t-mobile to mint. You have to get oneplus to unlock the bootloader, and then you can follow the flash instructions for the rom (Probably want to do the backup as well, although that wouldn't work for me). If you try it, hopefully you don't have the issues I had with notifications/ringtones.

Is there any specificity to this ROM ? I mean, compared to Lir and LeaOS you posted recently, or DotOS which is more about performance ?

CAOS , LiR, DotOS, crDRom etc. are AOSP GSI ROMs based on 'phhusson' sources, so the difference in performance, battery life, etc. is minimal. And all have some common bugs- VoLTE, native call recording, offline charging etc. If you like to take pictures, you will be disappointed with the camera...(btw, Footej camera 2-premium is a good enough replacement for gcam).
The main differences between these ROMs are in the customization options.
In my experience CAOS is faster, crDRom is customization monster, LiR is a perfect balance between battery efficiency, performance and the customization. As for DotOS, the previous version 5.1.3 was better.
hi Alf.
Indeed it is a good comparison of the different ROMs. For charging go to PHH trebble option and enable fastcharging to 4000ma. For the Volte it is in progress..., and for the camera I provide GCAM in addition

So I looked for this one, unfortunately the app was sell to an other company (ZipoApp), and seeing the recent opinions on google play the app was just monetized and the premium is now 10€ by damn week, and people fear for user privacy ... Smell like a bad story to me
Do you have any old apk, from before the acquisition ?

Disclaimer: I am a simple user, and am not affiliated with Semaphore or ZipoApps.
Recently, Footej Camera (or officially, Footej Camera 2) was bought by ZipoApps.
After seeing things like the buyouts of software like QuickPic or certain (legacy) parts of Nano Defender and the resulting consequences, naturally I was concerned with this, especially when ZipoApps's line of business is buying existing apps and monetizing them.
After some sleuthing, I managed to get the personal cellular number of ZipoApps's CEO, Alik Hochner (I am not going to divulge any more information about how and what was needed for this, to preserve his and other involved people's privacy), and I just spoke with him a few minutes ago.
While I am not completely reassured, due to not having experience with ZipoApps's history, he did strike me as someone who does want to be able to monetize apps while protecting user's privacy to the best of his abilities, though understandably limited by the tools the current market offers without being independent of the mass market.
Make of that what you will, I will continue to keep an eye on the matter, to see whether this turns out to be a turning point for such buyouts for the better or not.

I suppose it was a question for me.
I was wondering if changing initial charging values could be harmful to the longevity of the battery as those are (i think) calibrated for specific values

I have flashed this to Honor 8 frd-l19 (emui 8 device). Some problems have been tackled down now with help of dev, thanks to that. Apparently only things to do for now would be able to create misc folder at /data/misc and also credstore at /data/misc/credstore to be able to boot now.*1
Any ideas how to get those folders done? atm. I can access to phone via adb while phone stays at CAOS logo screen, maybe between 10-15mins.
I've tried to:
sudo adb root
adb remount rw, /data
which succees
then
sudo adb shell
cd data
mkdir misc
but get error
mkdir: '/data/misc': Read-only file system
I've also tried to install busybox at twrp*2, but using it via twrp terminal doesn't give su or sudo. When trying without su and just busybox mkdir /data/misc/ it seems to create one and I can even cd to it and create subfolder. After changing right permissions and using chown to those folders everytjing seems to be good. Sure twr doesn't show misc_ce and misc_de etc under data which were tegere when using adb.
Well no surprise that reboot habgs to CAOS logo and when xhecking via adb shell thete's no misc folder under data.
Can anyone give some tips how to be able to create those folders since I can't use adb via twrp or stock recovery. Also strange that when remounting /system as rw I can push & echo changes to there, but not able to create directories to /data after doing the same.
If someone can help, I will shere needed steps to get this running at Honor 8 frd, unless that will just revel next layer of problems.
*1 Device will boot to OS at first boot, won't boot after restart. So after logs there could b found reasons and now tried to fix those with help of dev and might be at the stage that to create folders just once again will be fix.
*2 I have found only 2 different twrp images, both at version 3.2.1-0 which are suitable for this device, others haven't work at all.
I don't have a solution but LiR build doesn't seem to have that problem. I could reboot many times on a hi3650 P9

[ROM][11.0_r60]JAGUAR XPERIA XA2 ULTRA OFFICIAL V25 Updated October 18, 2022

TELEGRAM CHANNEL ADDED: HERE
TELEGRAM CHAT GROUP: HERE
I normally build roms for Oneplus devices, but one of Xperia users donated and asked to build for Xperia XA2 Ultra. XA2 Ultra doesn't have a lot of options, so, here it is:
I have been building Android roms since 2012 for various devices including multiple Sonys, Lenovo Zuk, Oneplus 3, Oneplus 5, 6, 8 and 9. You can check my Oneplus 6 or Oneplus 6T or Oneplus 8 threads and browse my profile.
Jaguar rom is focused on hardening of AndroidOS and kernel. As such, the rom has hardened bionic, art, framework and tightened security.
1 Rom control with custom Power options, Statusbar, Buttons, Navbar, Quicksettings, Lockscreen, Notifications, Gestures, Themes etc...
2. Heavily modified Art, Bionic System/Vold and System/Security
3. Telephony response to Type Zero sms ('silently acknowledged') disabled
4. Toggle to disable Captive Portal logging.
5. Speakerphone proximity sensor toggle - could be set to automatically switch to speaker when not at the ear
6. IMEI and phone numbers hidden in About menu
7. Built-in encrypted DNS providers, such as: Cloudflare (US); LibreDns (Germany); AdguardDns (Cyprus); and PowerDns (Netherlands)
8. Wakelock and Alarmblocker
9. Fully working Call recording with the button visible in Dialer
10. Deskclock app modified to work with PowerOn alarm. The app will boot the phone 2 minutes before scheduled time to trigger the alarm on time
11. Default Dark mode
12. All regular customizations plus. You tell me which feature is missing.
The rom has 2 versions Vanilla (no Gapps) and Full. So, pick according to your needs.
Install instructions
Xperia AX2 Ultra is somewhat easier to deal with (because it doesn't have virtual partitions). So, the only requirement is to be on the latest stock firmware in both slots, and unlocked bootloader, of course. If you have been using Lineageos 18-19, you already have it. If not, install stock and then use Lineage's copy-partitions zip to populate another slot.
1. Either boot official TWRP and flash the rom followed by factory reset, or boot my recovery and sideload the rom also followed by factory reset.:
The command to boot recovery (from fastboot) is simple:
fastboot boot 'recovery name' (without quotes).
The first boot might take longer, because your phone will be encrypted.
2. Magisk: only versions 24.3 and higher will pass Safetynet. However, don't use TWRP, or any other recovery, because you won't boot. Rather install Magisk as a regular app, take boot.img I provide (the same as recovery), put it on your internal storage and patch from the app. Then install the new image (Magisk will tell you where it would save it) via fastboot: fastboot flash boot boot.img.
Download rom V20.2-VANILLA: Here
Download rom V20.2-FULL: Here
Download recovery (same as boot.img): Here

Why not Android 12? Because Google's major new releases don't become stable until at least r50+. Why? Ask Google. My view is: their primary focus is on advertising revenue, hence, everything else is on the back burner.
In addition, I personally dislike Android 12 (12L): you get some minor UI changes in exchange for giving up more privacy..

Magisk 25 and LSposed are loading now.
October 18. New release V025:
1. October security patches
2. Android r60
3. System webview to 106.x
4. Ability to disable screenshots saving: when disabled, screenshots are taken, but not saved
Native video still doesn't work and probably will never work due to the phone's low ram
Dirty flashing is fine on a previous release

September 13. New release V-24: major update
1. September security patches
2. Android r59
3.Ability to change clock size in statusbar and quicksettings
4. Rom is now compatible with Magisk 25 and Lsposed
5. AOD is fully working
6. DIaler: toggle for post-call snackbar
7. System webview to 105.x
Native gallery still cannot play videos and probably won't ever, as Jaguar takes more ram than Lineage: XA's 4GB of RAM is simply not enough. Use VLC player, which works fine.

August 21. New release V-23
1. August security patches

July 8. New release V-22
1. July security patches
2. Android r57
3. Automatic sleep/suspend mode (scheduled by a user) in Settings/Battery
4. 'Internet permission missing' issue with several apps fixed. Now, all apps including Googleplay, as well as third party apps, have no problems connecting to the internet (no F/C)
5. Many under the hood improvements
Dirty flashing on top of a previous release is fine. Otherwise, clean flash.

Does miracast work in this rom, and when mirroring could it black/turn off the screen. This is possible with the stock firmware and i hope that its also possible with the jaguar rom.

Newpipe does not work and possibly other videoplayback applications, doesn 't work in the browser . Only YouTube video plays. And could you integrate audio boost Ainur narsil, Viper or Sound Enhancement Sony Xperia 10 and then magisk is not needed

That's because you are using MicroG and you have NOT enabled 'signature spoofing' in Settings/Privacy. Most Google apps will NOT work with MicroG, unless signature spoofing is enabled.

I am using the full version 22. Everything is already installed there. Changing the settings doesn't help. Newpipe and other software always work without Google services and MicroG. It's sad that not all software works. Your firmware is good, including Bluetooth and security tweaks

The same for me. Video playback doesn't work. I don't have microg installed. Even the video stored on the phone, or the video recorded with the camera doesn't work. Other than that, everything seems to be working great.
Sorry for my English...

One of you would have to post a logcat running when you are trying to play videos.

Ok, I installed a clean V22 full and a Newpipe app. And I attach the logcat. Newpipe works fine on the original firmware and Lineage and others

So far the workaround to an extent is using VLC media player, so this may be some type of codec issue... Hopefully it can be resolved soon

How long is the first load? I feel like it's been loading for a long time now. At least 10 minutes. Installed in twrp the latest version, was coming from stock 8. Didn't read I needed firmware 11+ until just now. Do I just wait for the phone battery to die and try again? I had planned on installing Magisk after boot, but at this point I'm not sure it is even going to boot.

You can always shutdown the phone by pressing 'power key' and 'volume up and down' together for 5-10 seconds.
TWRP doesn't flash well and certainly doesn't work when flashing Magisk (you'll get bootloop).
Don't use V23. Use V22. Get recovery from post #1 and flash it in fastboot like this:
fastboot flash boot_a boot.img
then
fastboot flash boot_b boot.img
Disconnect the phone and start it in recovery by pressing 'power button' and 'volume down' at the same time. Once in recovery, wipe system, then side load V22.

Thank you, in recovery now about to sideload the V22, then I will reboot into the system and then reboot into recovery and sideload the V23 on top. Should I install Magisk before the V23? Or just go straight into V22 to V23? Again, thank you for responding.

Don't use v23. I will post v24 tomorrow. I described how to apply Magisk in the OP.
ugh, unfortunately cannot sideload to it for some reason:
adb: sideload connection failed: no devices/emulators found
adb: trying pre-KitKat sideload method...
adb: pre-KitKat sideload connection failed: no devices/emulators found
I am in ADB Sideload though so who knows, maybe I need to switch computers.

That means there is no connection between your phone and pc. May be adb drivers etc. Try to open the terminal as administrator.
