Question Anyone give me apps for customising my phone - Samsung Galaxy A22 5G

I have rooted my phone and I was wondering customising apps with magisk

No root needed but try good lock / nicelock

Alright thanks

You might want to try out GravityBox (I don't use it, but meh). Install LSposed/EdXposed then install GravityBox from its XDA thread. Not sure if it works on anything other than pure AOSP or similar.

[Q] Need some help with a few questions please :)

My phone, Samsung galaxy s3 mini
OK, so my phone is rooted, not by myself, so I'm not entirely sure what custom rom it has on. If this is needed known for my questions and there's a way to check, then please let me know. I'm happy to give whatever information I can to help with my questions. I can tell you its not rooted with CM.
Question one. The notification toggle that has screen settings, wi fi toggles etc, I want to know if it can be removed altogether so I can add my own using apps, or if it can be hidden or changed in anyway?
Question two. I'm aware that a lot of people like CM for a custom rom and last time I read they were working on a version for the phone I have, but I wondered what other custom roms have other people had success with? The only reason I asked this question is because the custom rom I'm using at the moment doesn't have much internally built in for changeable settings... I use to have CM on my HTC and had loads of custom settings that were things you couldn't change on the normal none rooted phone.

I can't get u clearly though, it seems u r on a custom rom whose name u don't know. U can check it in setting > about phone> build name. Usually custom roms have their signatures there.
1. U ll have to learn modding the systemui.apk and few other system files inside the system/app folder of the root.
2. The custom rom teams which are popular after CM are MIUI, AOSP, etc

First root ur device, uninstall the unwanted apps that eats up the ram.
The popular way to increase ram is through linux swap AFAIK but it makes ur device laggy..

I've managed to find out I'm using dmod. But I really would like to change it to something else that has a few more custom settings with it. Is there an easier way to change the toggle bar using mod settings type apps?

Stock JB Xposed Framework Compatible?

Apologies if this has already been covered, search is currently offline/disabled, so I could only search XDA using Google and didn't find anything.
I'm running the stock Jelly Bean ROM (4.1.2) DeODEX'd with a few little tweaks, nothing big.
I was checking out the Xposed Framework project ( read here ) and wondering if anyone knows if it's compatible with the stock'ish Photon Q 4G ROM?
If someone is able to confirm/deny it would save the time of backing up, flashing/installing, then having to restore back if it isn't.
Thanks in advance.:good:
I haven't tried it myself, but it should work on any device.
Just be sure you take that backup so you can restore...
Based on this comment - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41156747&highlight=xposed#post41156747
Looks like it in all likelihood works fine, so I'll probably give it a shot this evening after work.
As an update, the framework installs fine, no issues at all. Some of the modules available work, some are exclusive to HTC or Samsung devices, so unfortunately those are a no go.

[Q] please help, I'm sure this is an easy fix

Hi, I'm new to rooting and I recently rooted my optimus l70. I know it's not that great of a phone but it's what I have to work with right now. I simply want to customize everything so I used the towel root method, installed supersu, xposed, and gravity box. Gravity box will do simple things like change the icons on my status bar but not things like change the status bar itself or the lockscreen.
I was hoping someone could help me with this and in doing so give me a crash course.
Thanks in advance for helping.

GravityBox is designed for Stock Android.
For other roms..like TouchWiz roms or HTC Sense roms and so on, some features will work, some won't.
Here is the official thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/app-gravitybox-v3-1-4-tweak-box-android-t2316070
But this is the most important line:
- Samsung Touchwiz, HTC Sense, MIUI, LeWa, etc. are NOT supported. It is not guaranteed this module will work on these at all so try at your own risk. This module is simply too complex to support all kind of ROM brands that were vastly modified by vendors.
Awh that sucks thanks for the info!
for changing the complete look of the statusbar, we can go to the playstore n see those apps like statusbar+ n all....
so requires root n others dont...
it will change ur statusbar itself n compatibility issues r also less but they may be stable or not....
for.me gravity box is tha best...
n sorry it doesnt support much of many roms....

Hi
I don't know this mode work in s7 or not but you can test it. You need Xposed Installer for use it.
Code:

Hi there,
I found out that some custom ROM already implemented in their ROM without using Xposed.
Still searching for the implement method. BTW thank you for the respond.
Depends, Gravity has this option as a Xposed Mod.
BUT, If your using the new Good Lock that has a new UI
Then this option will not work, Only on the Default TW Recents Panel

Getting the 6X today - Root / ROMS - Where To Start ?

Hi everyone,
I would like to know where to start with a 6X received today.
It's BLN-L24C567B360, EMUI 5.0, Android 7.0 !
Examples:
- get the latest OTA, firmwares etc before rooting ?
- the most stable and the lightest ROM (no bloatware) nowadays ?
Thx guys ! :highfive:
By reading this Q&A section, maybe ?
There are a lot of bricked phone's. And there is still no fully working custom Rom.
Just uninstall the bloat, change the theme and be happy with your phone.

Thx for the advice !
However, is the root still interesting then ? I mean is there there a way to really debloat (and getting rid of most of Gapps) without rooting for instance?
Thx again :good:
Yeah rooting is interesting always, because TWRP and Xposed are a must for every phone in my opinion. The possibility of install apps like AdAway to protect against intrusive advertisings, the chance to recover your device with a nandroid backup and the use of Xposed are essential.
About debloating, I made a guide about bloatware on EMUI safe to remove (link in my signature) and i wrote about how to do it with root, but it's possible to do that even without root through the use of ADB.
