Question Android 10 OTA - Realme C2

Getting a Custom ROM for this device requires me to have Android 10. But it has Android 9 at the moment. Where could I find the update file so I can finally upgrade it and use a Custom ROM?
Hi. Solved. I found the update.zip file that I required to upgrade to Android 10.
Mods may delete this.

Local Update option vanished from B807 (Android 6), I can't roll-in further updates

Hi. I wonder if somebody could help me
I have an H60-L12, I recently updated it from Emui 3.1 to Emui 4.0 (B807)
I had further updates to roll-in after B807 but after the update to EMUI 4.0 I see the local update option has vanished
I rooted my device and copied the hwouc.apk file over the original on my root drive, no when I go to update it takes me to the stock android update screen. Any ideas on how I can roll in these other zip files
OTA-EMUI 4.0_H60-L02-L12_B807_B809
OTA-EMUI 4.0_H60-L02-L12_B809_B811
OTA-EMUI 4.0_H60-L02-L12_B811_B823
Any help would be greatly appreciated

[Q] Honor 6 (H60-L02) wont update.

Hey! i just got this new phone (Honor 6 H60-L02) but the device wont update further than Android 4.4.2 en Emui 2.3 via Hisuite or online . My phones current build number : H60-L02V100R001CHNC00B1116SP02.
I have no idea how to install these stock roms...
I also have no idea how to root my device? Whats the best tool to do so?
How to install Stock ROM:
Warning: You need to have stock recovery, /system/build.prop and /data/cust/prop/local.prop.
DON'T forget to set permissions to rw-r--r-- (644) after you restore build.prop and local.prop.
I'm also not sure what to do with this part. where do i set the permission?. I take it i need to root my device before i can do this step?
is anyone willing to give a helping hand? i dont want to break my new phone

[Tuto] If you have problem for install Android Wear 2.0 on your Androphone

Hi
I think it's a little tuto, but it can be useful for smartphones with a custom ROM on Marshmallow 6.0. If you are on Nougat, no problem for you.
I had a lot of problems to install the last update of Android Wear 2.0 on my HTC One M8 (Rooted - Unlocked - Custom Rom Ice 8.2.2 - M6.0).
My smartwatch is Nixon Mission
That's why I've searched a solution. I searched, found and tested. It works very well :good::highfive:
It's really simple, but really usefull.
When I want to update, I always had a pop-up with the following message:
"this phone has been flashed with an unsupported configuration for companion. you must re-flash it as either signed/user or unsigned/userdebug".
Click to collapse
I've tried all release 2.0.0 since 08/11/2016 at 07/04/2017. Always same pop-up. It was very boring
You need to use a File Editor (ES Explorer for me) go in System and find the file 'build.prop'.
Edit it, find the following sentence: 'ro.build.type=userdebug'
and replace with 'ro.build.type=user'.
If you are ever rooted like me, you find the following sentence:
'ro.build.type=dev'
replace 'dev' by 'user'.
Don't forget to reboot your smartphone, so you can install the new version of Android Wear 2.0 without problems

Updating Pixel 3 on Android 9 to Android 10 questions build.prop/process

Good day everybody,
A few questions about upgrading my pixel 3 from 9 to 10. To preface I have an unlocked bootloader and am rooted on the June 2019 version of android. I would like to update to android 10 and am wondering if one of my modifications to the build.prop would still work. I use the following modification for enabling hotspot:
net.tethering.noprovisioning=true
Can anybody confirm that this still works on Android 10?
Also, huge noob question - Where is the guide for updating from 9 -> 10 with root/unlock, and do I lose my data in the process? I can't seem to find anything but how to sideload monthly updates.
Thank you in advance for any help
To edit /system or /vendor you need to use magisk and do it systemlessly. A10 no longer allows you to directly modify these partitions. There is some discussion about exactly what you want to change under the guides section in the Pixel 3xl forum. For the second one, there is a guide somewhere in the guides section in this forum. You will need to do a full wipe with a version change. Look into different ways to back up your stuff before you switch. For apps and app data I did a twrp backup before switching then used titanium backup once on A10 to extract the app/data and restore it. For other stuff you might need to do it manually.
Follow this method for the Magisk based tethering modification:

(Works on Pixel 3)

I cannot root my Logicom Le Hola FR

Hi, I recently bought a cheap phone (Le Hola FR Logicom) thinking that I could root it with Magisk to fix its shortcomings afterwards. However, after much research on the net I am unable to do this because its ROM cannot be found on the internet and it does not seem compatible with TWRP. How do I root it with Magisk please?
1st thing of all things is that you must have a copy of phon'e Stock ROM ( Android 10 GO ? ) at your fingertips: it's required to install Magisk without TWRP.
