QUICK FASTBOOT-DRIVER GUIDE INSTALLATION:
How to install:
1. Extract the fastboot-driver.zip.
2. Open device manager
3. Click right on " Android " it should have a yellow warning icon, press on update driver
4. Select browse my computer then press on let me pick from a list of available drivers
5. Press on Have disk and then go to where you have extracted the zip file and select android_winusb.inf
6. Done.
IF YOU FACE SOME FASTBOOT ISSUES DOWNLOAD FIX-FASTBOOT ZIP :
Instructions: Copy it in main directory (usually in C: drive) and run it as administrator, problem solved.
ORANGEFOX GUIDE:
If you have acces to fastboot, download fastboot-driver.zip and fastboot-tools.zip for the tools necessary to boot ofox.
Open the CMD and use the following command to boot ofox:
fastboot boot ofox-metadata.img
If you don't have access to fastboot, enter in 9008 mode, open qfil and load ofox image on boot_a and boot_b then force reboot (hold volume - and power button for 10s), after it reboots it will get you automatly in ofox.
DISCLAIMER FLASHING OFOX IN QFIL WILL LEAD IN YOUR ROM NOT BOOTING AS LG G7 IS AN A/B DEVICE WHICH MEANS IT DOESN'T HAVE A RECOVERY PARTITION, BOOT IMAGE IS MANDATORY FOR YOUR PHONE TO BOOT, FLASHING OFOX USING QFIL ITS ONLY FOR YOU TO BE ABLE TO FLASH A CUSTOM ROM AS IT OVERWRITES THE BOOT IMAGE WITH THE CERTAIN ROM'S ONE.
ROM INSTALLATION
NOTE: It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.

CLEAN FLASH : (If on A11/A12/A12L based rom other than Corvus)
1. Boot in OFOX metadata;
2. Format Data (Press on the recycle bin icon —-> format data ——> type yes);
3. FROM HERE YOU CAN CHOOSE BETWEEN 2 METHODS TO FLASH:
3.1. USING ADB SIDELOAD:
3.1.1. Press on "back" and flash the rom using adb sideload (Go to 3 lines in the bottom right corner, choose "ADB Sideload", Then "Swipe-->", open the cmd from adb tools folder in computer, then type "adb sideload", hit "Enter", then < drag and drop the zip over the cmd>);
3.1.2. Flash ofox zip the same way through adb sideload, it will automatically reboot to ofox after flashing is done;
3.1.3. Flash gapps; (Only if the rom does not contain gapps);
3.1.4. Flash magisk (Optional);
3.2. OR IF YOU HAVE A MICROSD CARD, YOU CAN FOLLOW THIS:
3.2.1. Move the rom and ofox, and gapps(if you will use) zip file into your microsdcard;
3.2.2. Press on "/sdcard" area and choose "Micro SDCard", navigate straight into your rom zip file, then press on it, then "swipe ---->", it will start flashing it;
3.2.3. After flash the rom, locate your ofox zip file and flash it as you did with the rom;
3.2.4. Flash gapps; (If you want);
3.2.5. Flash Magisk (Optional);
4. Change filesystem to f2fs (Go to 3 lines in bottom right corner ----> manage partitions ----> select data -----> change fs ------> f2fs);
5. Reboot.
DIRTY FLASH : (If already on Corvus A13.0)
• Boot in OFOX metadata;
• Flash the rom zip;
• Flash ofox zip, it will automatically reboot the phone to ofox after the flashing is done;

Anyone using corvus 3.2 and having any issues? found that in raven launcher settings you can change recents and add a taskbar that stays when you change the launcher...I'm using nova launcher.
Has anyone tried this latest build? I'm considering trying it.
Tested the ROM with a clean flash (Used the Gapps build). Didn't root, and passed the setup. I went into settings and most of the extended features seem to be missing. The extra menu called Corvus Settings has all the categories listed but each category is missing a lot of the features that were supposedly listed... I guess I'm gonna have to try another ROM.

No please I'm on custom... On stock wifi only works when I go to field test and wifi test and change Ota country to JP... So I want to access the secret on custom too to make smh wifi work but seems I can't find any to access that secret menu or way to get my wifi working on custom.. Please help

it is written in the FAQ section that gapps are not included, but the fact is gapps are already there in the rom. i got warning in orange fox when i tried to flash gapps. after installing rom, gapps were already installed along with the rom
is Vo-WIFI available??
It works in MIUI for Whyred and i really need it at my place as signal reception is bad.
Its the only thing keeping me away from custom ROM
This is probably the best 10 ROM . every 10 rom have different issues for me but after i use that rom . For my use everything is working . Thanks devs

On mi device Corvus OS 4.7 gets higher score on Antutu than OS 5.0, same setup tested twice, why?

Thanks for this ROM. I've only this request/advise. Don't turn it into a fake AOSP by including all the gapps, therefore making it the same as the other roms. It was much better to insert the AOSP keyboard with the adaptive theme of LineageOS instead of gboard. I would focus on a simple and functional rom, well translated and with the optional google services. The primary sense of an AOSP is lightness and better privacy, otherwise for those who want to google there are already many alternatives.

I used 11.0.6.0 from here

And it boots normally
This ROM use Arian's vendor. you don't have to flash another vendor, otherwise you have bugs.
After flash necessary make a format data , without it ROM reboot in revovery.

I am not flashed the magisk
Enforcing selinux but playstore showing device not certified. Cam in low light can't taking the pictures. There is no sounds for ringer , if we touch the phone ringtone/sim card sound app force closing. Networks( wifi and carrier) are not stable both are not connected. I know this is beta version , basics are must work ....Any way once again Tq very much for participating such a good development.

For CTS issue you can use Pixelprop module, camera you can use CameraGo and sound ringtone just download sound app from playstore.

Features such as these will take some time to implement considering Android 11 was released less than two weeks ago. You should use third-party apps for the time being.
awesome rom just one major problem causing not use this rom as daily driver is VOLTE. call not receiving and working in mu JIO network.

I need help magisk doesn't work whatever i do a flash via zip or .img (TWRP) and i check on magisk manager still not rooted.
Secondly, the charging bar when you shutdown the phone not working (can't see the status charging bar).
Third, dual sim card not working. Only detect one sim only, another sim says not available/invalid card.
Fourth, Camera Go flash doesn't work.
Fifth, Mic can't record sound and calling.
That's it, i'm sorry too much complaint.
Please add in next update: Face Unlock

Its early android 11 build,you will have to wait atleast few more months before all 11 ROMs include all features like 10.
Hi,
After flashing the ROM I stuck on "To start android enter password", I tried to enter pass and I am getting "decryption unsuccessful".
I didn't have encryption enable on my previous ROM, I flashing this ROM after clean installation of MIUI Global.
I have the option "Erase all data" but even so my phone boot to twrp and doing that I still boot to the password windows.

does adaptive brightness work?
I am absolutely convinced that it is the best ROM for the A40. Being a beta version, the stability is perfect, very good performance, without installing GAPPS the RAM is very freed, the Unofficial version of this ROM is appreciated. Very good work!

After experimenting with GSIs for some time, all the native ROMs I just tried are stuck at the android logo text. What can I do about this?= I already flashed the vendor zip.

have erased system/data/vendor/cache, than install my vendor, than system. it works than
Thank you! I got it running. AOD and double tap to wake don't work, do they for you?
Edit: Doesn't matter too much. Corvus doesn't seem to be the right OS for me anyways, it's lacking all the feature I am used from Resurrection Remix (like all the statusbar options and most of the lockscreen options).
Would be great if could make an native R for the A40
