A special thanks to @EmanuelCN for work hardly on Device Tree, Kernel and Recovery, without it this Rom wouldn't be possible.

* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM

AOSP based rom with customization focused on stability and most of all smoothness.
What works?
Almost everything
What's broken?
**VoLTE (Will never work on custom roms on LG phones)**
**10 bit video recording (Watching content in 10 bit works, you just cant record video in 10 bit format)**
You tell me!

QUICK FASTBOOT-DRIVER GUIDE INSTALLATION:
How to install:
1. Extract the fastboot-driver.zip.
2. Open device manager
3. Click right on " Android " it should have a yellow warning icon, press on update driver
4. Select browse my computer then press on let me pick from a list of available drivers
5. Press on Have disk and then go to where you have extracted the zip file and select android_winusb.inf
6. Done.
IF YOU FACE SOME FASTBOOT ISSUES DOWNLOAD FIX-FASTBOOT ZIP :
Instructions: Copy it in main directory (usually in C: drive) and run it as administrator, problem solved.
ORANGEFOX GUIDE:
If you have acces to fastboot, download fastboot-driver.zip and fastboot-tools.zip for the tools necessary to boot ofox.
Open the CMD and use the following command to boot ofox:
fastboot boot ofox-metadata.img
If you don't have access to fastboot, enter in 9008 mode, open qfil and load ofox image on boot_a and boot_b then force reboot (hold volume - and power button for 10s), after it reboots it will get you automatly in ofox.
DISCLAIMER FLASHING OFOX IN QFIL WILL LEAD IN YOUR ROM NOT BOOTING AS LG G7 IS AN A/B DEVICE WHICH MEANS IT DOESN'T HAVE A RECOVERY PARTITION, BOOT IMAGE IS MANDATORY FOR YOUR PHONE TO BOOT, FLASHING OFOX USING QFIL ITS ONLY FOR YOU TO BE ABLE TO FLASH A CUSTOM ROM AS IT OVERWRITES THE BOOT IMAGE WITH THE CERTAIN ROM'S ONE.
NOTE: It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
1. Boot in OFOX metadata;
2. Format Data (Press on the recycle bin icon —-> format data ——> type yes);
3. FROM HERE YOU CAN CHOOSE BETWEEN 2 METHODS TO FLASH:
3.1. USING ADB SIDELOAD:
3.1.1. Press on "back" and flash the rom using adb sideload (Go to 3 lines in the bottom right corner, choose "ADB Sideload", Then "Swipe-->", open the cmd from adb tools folder in computer, then type "adb sideload", hit "Enter", then < drag and drop the zip over the cmd>);
3.1.2. Flash ofox zip the same way through adb sideload, it will automatically reboot to ofox after flashing is done;
3.1.3. Flash gapps; (Only if the rom does not contain gapps);
3.1.4. Flash magisk (Optional);
3.2. OR IF YOU HAVE A MICROSD CARD, YOU CAN FOLLOW THIS:
3.2.1. Move the rom and ofox, and gapps(if you will use) zip file into your microsdcard;
3.2.2. Press on "/sdcard" area and choose "Micro SDCard", navigate straight into your rom zip file, then press on it, then "swipe ---->", it will start flashing it;
3.2.3. After flash the rom, locate your ofox zip file and flash it as you did with the rom;
3.2.4. Flash gapps; (If you want);
3.2.5. Flash Magisk (Optional);
4. Change filesystem to f2fs (Go to 3 lines in bottom right corner ----> manage partitions ----> select data -----> change fs ------> f2fs);
5. Reboot.
Upgrading to a Newer Build
• Boot in OFOX metadata;
• Flash the rom zip;
• Flash ofox zip, it will automatically reboot the phone to ofox after the flashing is done;
• Flash gapps (ONLY IF THE ROM IS WITH GAPPS ALREADY, MAKE SURE TO FLASH THE SAME ONE);
• Flash magisk (Optional);

I have installed it and I like it quite a lot apart that everything looks fluid and for now I have not tested it much but everything is working well except for a small visual bug in the taskbar to change sometimes from horizontal to vertical screen, another thing is that at the beginning if I remember correctly asked me if I wanted to use the notch but now I do not find that option in the settings and I do not see the gallery application I do not know if it is because I installed with the gapps but apart from that all good many thanks

The Visual bug is SparkOS source fault, so i can't help with this part and the notch too. The Gallery App is replaced by Google Photos when on Gapps version, if you wanna use gallery, you should download vanilla version and flash a gapps package that doesnt have google photos in it, so it will be fine

Thanks for the great work on this and the other roms you've compiled! I'll try them all and find the best one.
I found a small problem in Spark... the function of two clicks on the power button to open the camera is not working. Any ideia?

You're welcome man, the two clicks not working is a source bug, and it only occurres on gapps build version, on vanilla it works fine.

uma nota aos aparelhos EMW acredito que variente brasileira para funcionar ligações e chamadas em geral no aparelho é necessario por rom stock em 30d e não emw precisa ser esse firmware aqui: G710EM30d_00_0915
a note to the EMW devices I believe that a Brazilian variant to work calls and calls in general on the device is necessary by stock rom in 30d and not emw needs to be this firmware here: G710EM30d_00_0915

A bug report, I tested the rom and sometimes when we activate the flashlight it turns itself off, otherwise the rom is perfect, but after activating it for the second or third time, the problem doesn't usually occur anymore.

This ROM is the best I have ever used. Thank you.

My fingerprint isn't working now after updating to v12.6. Even in my settings "setup fingerprint" option is hidden. My fingerprint is working in another rom. And there's still a calling issue on the Indian carrier's network. Can you please fix this problem? Being honest This is the best rom I've ever used for Lg G7 plus.

There is already an Spark OS Android 13.0 with all fixes but i didnt have time to update the thread yet, but soon i will, also check if you are on the required stock rom for your device before flash any custom roms as this guide says.

This is the best version compared to Spark 12.6 Spark 13 fixed all the bugs the most annoying of the flashlight that keeps turning itself off when the automatic turning sensor was active, now it is normal, the WhatsApp bug regarding audio calls the sound of those who listen to me is a little low but it is audible, not to mention that android 13 or rom itself is much more fluid/fast compared to android 12/Spark 12.6 another thing that I LOVED that I didn't have before is Smart Lock is now working unlocking when at home or by devices (Bluetooth) nearby. Thanks to the Spark Os team and @EmanuelCN for bringing this wonderful rom to our LG G7 Thinq, really thank you!
Translated by Google.

"GAPP Build" I see some errors. google photos unlimited backup and fps unlock for game it doesn't work, app grid error 5x6 5x7... after install open app menu all apps are hidden except search. and the error of the phone mast icon not showing signal, 4G;LTE logo not displayed when using the internet. and by the way can you tell me why i want to go back to Spark 12.5 & 12.6 when flashing finished and rebooted, it only booted into recovery even though i flashed stock ROM G710EM 30H again and did it again.

Most of the reason why I wanted to move to 13 was for Bluetooth LC3 and OPUS support, but neither seem to be present in this ROM. Any chance they can be added later?

Having some kind of major issues with Files on the gapps version. When trying to pick files (such as .zip modules to install in magisk), it works correctly, but when trying to pick directories (such as my music folder in PowerAmp), Files opens the background of the menu, freezes for a few seconds, then crashes. I couldn't really find any combination of disabling/enabling and upgrading/downgrading that made it ever work with the gapps ROM, but the normal version with core nikgapps seems fine.

Hi I have some requests from spark os 13 team. 1) Always-on screen with pixel scrolling, screen burns occur. 2) Next to the application icons, the number of notifications should appear in numbers. 3) Camera applications come with the device's official camera application.
CAmera aplication no slow motion high fps features.

The on/off keys should be changed like this to make them more understandable.

I have a G710ULM model, which I can flash any firmware into. However, Fastboot is only accessible after flashing a ULM firmware.
The problem is that the latest ULM firmware is 21f, which is incompatible with this "ofox-metadata.img" file. On the other hand, these are compatible but flashing any of them will cause the loss of Fastboot: "30F EM, 30D EMW/EAW/AWM"
The conclusion is that It seems impossible to flash "ofox-metadata.img" into a G710ULM model using Fastboot, so the only option left might be via QFIL. Unfortunately, as apparent in the quote, I could not get a hint of how to achieve that.
After exploring QFIL, I could not find a direct way to flash anything without either a "Content XML" file, or a "FireHose" file, which I could not get.
It would be greatly appreciated if any helpful leads could be shared.
Thanks in advance.

I recommend you to look at other tutorials, to get a better idea, but in itself it's very simple OBS Backup the recommended partitions, because if you need to, you can restore (boot_a and boot_b and laft_a and laft_b too

Installation
Follow the guide on the bottom of this post. You dont need unlocked bootloader, you just need a PC with drivers and sp flashtool. The flashtool is present in every ROM release.
The drivers were present in earlier releases, like SphinX down below.
If you are flashing xiaomi.eu for the first time (or after some other buged rom), make a clean flash of latest original chinese/english version and then flash xiaomi.eu. (at least thats what LoXar is suggesting on the original forums in case of some problems). I personally have flashed the first developer by loxar directly over latest SphinX... and every update afterwards just SYSTEM, leaving userdata and settings intact. Works flawless. Anyway, if you should have some problems with the rom, a clean flash is recomended.
SphinX (seems to be outdated now)
Here is a custom rom made by ManhIT (v2a and v2b) and nguyentankiet (v1c and v1d) from official beta testing team china.
You can flash without problems using a flashtool included in the package. You need to install the drivers first - you will find them in the package too. You dont need to unlock bootloader, so you dont invalidate warranty.
As allways, the flash is on your own risk, nobody else may be held responsible if something goes wrong and the phone gets bricked.
It can be installed from any version, with or without Root!

Installation instructions
- Unzip the downloaded file
- On PC install the 2 driver files for windows drivers MTK (for windows 10 take windows 10 drivers).
- On computer, run as administrator Flash_Tool.exe file from the flashtool folder contained in the zip. To run as admin, right-click and run as administrator.
- On Flash Tool:
Click "Download Agent" and select file DA_SWSEC.bin
Click "Scatter-loarding", chose Images folder, select file MT6795_Android_scatter.txt
- Then remove the tick "preloader" there will remain tick on boot, recovery, system, cache, userdata as on the picture below.
(this is very important, and do not tick it!) View fix method if you forgotten http://en.miui.com/thread-198856-1-1.html
(If you are flashing the rom by quakze with TWRP recovery, uncheck RECOVERY if you dont have unlocked bootloader. And if you dont want the marshmallow bootanimation, uncheck boot as well, leaving just SYSTEM checked, to maintain userdata. If you are comming from a ROM other than xiaomi.eu or original, make a clean flash with userdata checked - a "factory reset" will occur.)
- Turn off the phone completely. Unplug it from PC if usb was connected before.
- Click the "Download" button on Flash Tool.
- On phone: press and hold the Volume down button and plug in the USB cable
> on the bottom of the flashtool you will see the progress, first fast one in red color (now you can release the VOLUME DOWN button), then slow yellow advancement.
When finished, you will see:
Now you can exit the flashtool and unplug and start the phone. First boot may take several minutes (not more than 10 min though, if you stick there for a looong time, retry the flash once more and pay attention to all the steps - untick preloader and tick boot, recovery, system, cache, userdata.
On SphinX: During the first SETUP choose ENGLISH language, otherwise you will have problems with cloud. After the initial setup, you may take any language you like.
BUGS:
If you want the developers to know, tell them on the miui forum (link above the direct download shortcut)
All works perfectly on this ROM Totally recommend it!
SphinX V1d is with trojan... ?

hello bro
- Unzip the downloaded file

On Flash Tool:
Click "Download Agent" and select file DA_SWSEC.bin
Click "Scatter-loarding", chose Images folder, select file MT6795_Android_scatter.txt
becarefull not selection preloader in the list !!! because bootloop !!!
- Click the "Download" button. This time has not yet plug the cable into the phone!
- Turn off the phone completely, press the Volume down button and plug the cable into See tools start running, give up
Wait for complete flash as image below, you can with draw cable and you have a full Rom for Redmi Note 3
for me my phone ok after this procedure...
I tested rom developer for unlock bootloader not lucky not available sms code 10 days... (peut etre ou peut pas )lol
sorry for my english... je suis Français alors bonne chance l'ami !!!
Do I need to backup IMEI? I don't have root access right now, I'm at stock ROM after OTA.
If I flash this ROM with unticked preloader, everything will be fine? I have prepaired enviroment but I'm afraid..
[offtopic] can you tell me why my xiaomi redmi note 3 is able to transmit 2k (or smth similar) video via 'IP Webcam' app? in other apps there is no possibility to record in higher than 1080p
I have no idea how to backup IMEI, but i flashed successfully v1c developer and then v1d stable. I have not yet tested the v2a.
The process is easy and smooth, no worries. Once you have installed the drivers on your PC, the rest of it is easy.
thank you for the rom.
I will try it because I was using v1d but after encrypting phone memory (and restarting twice - before that it was working), it ended up in bootloop (and I didn't flash PRELOADER).
Is this one safe to encrypt?
No idea, i havent give it a try yet. Sticking with V1d.

Metz! Ah oui, belle ville, le resto sympa specialiste, pommes de terre en robe du champs... (en 2001, bien dit...)
Where in the folder are the drivers for Windows 10?
What does this phrase mean (I know, you copied from Miui site, but I do not understand the English): "plug the cable into See tools start running, give up"?
Use win7 or vista driver.
-plug the cable while holding vol- key
-wait for flash tool to start running
-release the vol- key
mobile data problems
Hello guys, I bought Redmi note 3, it came this morning, I installed SphinXv1d rom everything is ok except one thing. I cannot use my mobile data, it works perfect with wifi, but as far as I disable wifi, internet is lost although mobile data is enabled. I have tried everything: reseted APN settings couple of time, turn the airplane mode on and off, restarted the phone few times, installed sphinkXv2a rom and nothing seems to be working. I have tried to test the mobile internet connection and it said that mobile internet is working properly. But when i'm trying to reach the internet with chrome or any other browser with wifi disabled it says "couldn't load this page". Guys do you have any ideas what may cause this problem? P.S. in the right corner of my redmi note 3 it shows my network provider and 4g sign, therefore that makes me think that it connected to the provider properly plus I can make calls and send sms...
how to install xposed
I'm a new here for miui 7.1! and i don't much about miui, so it is possible to install xposed on miui 7.1!

come with Se linux enforced
reduced nav bar height from 48 to 34 ( it was so big )
I have no time to test encryption (and i don't use it) so if you want to test encryption be sure to backup your datas before.
The main lineage features i have noticed :
per apps : control wifi,lte
Display : Live Display (night display ) / Style ( pure black theme ) / Expended desktop / Ambient display gesture
Sound : Increasing ring volume ( start volume and ramp up time )
Security : "Trust" => Privacy Guard (you will notice a warning about public key signature, it's because it's an unofficial build)
System : Buttons / System profiles / Status bar / gesture
Dev Options : Advanced restart

A little issue at first startup with gapps wizzard, i had to click several times on some butons to continue, but after that no other issue
there can be some "force close" with setup wizard at the first boot, it happens on some other device with lineage too.
Just bypass, this is just the gapps wizard and it will continue , there is no consequence.

Nice ROM with android 9 nev bar. Thnks
I am unable to make it boot for me for some reason. Asks me for a password even after a factory reset. After entering the correct one, it says something along the lines of "Decryption failed. Your password is correct but the data is corrupted." It then asks me to perform a factory reset, to which I do. But after rebooting, it leads back to this problem again.

Alberto's device tree is tailored to AOSP, not Lineage, so you could use
Code:
brunch aosp_addsion-userdebug
over
Code:
brunch addison
and it should work.
Alternatively, you could change the sources to fit Lineage, which doesn't require many changes to get a build running. That just requires renaming the aosp_addison.mk file to lineage_addison.mk, as well as changing the references to aosp_addison to lineage_addison in both the AndroidProducts.mk and new lineage_addison.mk file.

Okay, so that actually doesn't work. Interesting... I just modified the files to fit LOS's build system and that worked for me (or at least started to).
Below should got a build running for me, before I ran into SELinux errors (but those could have just been because I'm messing with things).

Also, I noticed your roomservice file put hardware-moto-sensors under hardware/sensors, instead of hardware/moto-sensors. I wouldn't think it's hardcoded, but it wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong.
I'm going to try a clean build later, but hopefully this helps.

Can I upgrade from the unofficial build to the official - or do I need to wipe all and start from scratch?
I prefer you start clean, but you can try, if you flash mindthegapps as Gapps package, it will be the same as shipped on unnoficial build
works great
Unofficial builds are still the best

You can press power button with vol - and enter recovery mode, then select format data (hint: you will loose your data), then things should work.
Make sure to follow wiki steps before install anything.
I am on the official build with the recommended gapps (MindtheGapps-latest version) installed.
I am getting the following error with I try to run Google Opinion Rewards:
google opinion rewards won't run without google play service which are not supported on your device
I have tried clearing data/cash for Google Play, Google Play Services and the Opinion Rewards, restarting and that doesn't help.
Any ideas/suggestions? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

How was the install procces? Some people said about similar stuff ( another kind of gapps issues) and what fixed was install rom, finsish this install, reboot to recovery and then install gapps. Otherwise, send us a log here if still remains bugging

Thanks for the assistance. For background, I was coming from the unofficial and upgraded to the official. I believe it was working, but I may have done something (and I don't know what) and it stopped working.
I even tried wiping the system partition and reinstalling - and that didn't help.
I wound up wiping my entire system (flashing back to stock) - and installing the official (including the recommended gapps) - and all is good.
And (by the way) I did reboot to recovery before installing gapps.
Thanks for the help. I guess this one will remain a bit of a mystery (as to what happened) but it is all working now.

It's the annoying part of a release early days XD
Hi, I've installed both the mod and Gapps following the instructions on the website (I had a PixelExperience ROM before) and - from what I am seeing - all went smooth.
Thanks a lot for your effort.
P.S. Is there a Telegram channel for LineageOS?
edit: the only "weirdness" I've seen: two apps warn me that phone is rooted. For one I can continue the installation, for the other is not possible. Not a big issue, but this did not happen with the Pixel Experience ROM.
Thanks again.
Hello, guys!
I recently installed the official 1.19.1 ROM and the Gapps provided and I'm getting "Offline" even if I am connected on WiFi. Browsing on internet works perfecly, but I get the messages as on the image below:
Also, when I click in Google, from the Settings Menu, I get the message: Unable to start the App.
I think its something related to the Gapps.. Maybe?
Or the issue is because I'm not using a simCard at the moment?
Imma using the MindTheGapps-12.1.0-arm64-20220416_174313, on my Moto G6 Plus Evert, and used lineage-19.1-20220426-nightly-evert-signed zip package to format.
Is this a common issue?
I reinstalled the ROM just to be sure, but I still get this.
I have been on this ROM for a day now - and it is very smooth. No major issues and thanks to the OP for the time and support!
A few small items that I have mostly found workarounds for but wanted to mention them for anybody that is interested:
I really like TWRP over the lineage recovery. On LOS 18.1 I was able to flash TWRP and use it. That doesn't seem to be an option for 19.1. Even though I have turned encryption off (so the encryption is not an issue) - it seems like it doesn't boot properly after installing TWRP. So, I guess I need to live with lineage recovery.
The green flash & dot that comes up when location is used is really annoying. The dot not as much as the flash - especially since I have apps that use location all of the time and the flash is distracting and removes other elements on the notification bar. I was able to use the information https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/android-12-little-green-dot-location.1572637/ and https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...nsor-indicator-microphone-and-camera.4388359/ to help things, however sometimes after a reboot I have to turn the switch back off in developer options. Bit of a pain, and I have not found a way to turn it off automatically through tasker.
Auto brightness - in dark my screen gets too dark. I have to raise it - and it doesn't seem to be learning to use a higher minimum - like some other versions of android.
Relatively speaking - these are minor and maybe just things that bug me. The ROM is very smooth, fast and much appreciated!
I also want to report what seems a minor bug: when the display auto-rotation is enabled, no icon is shown in the status bar, but instead an icon is shown when it is not. In stock version and Pixel Experience mod the feature had the opposite behavior (so an icon was shown only when auto-rotation was enabled).
Thanks again, all seems to work pretty well.

Same issue for me and my evert.
For the guys with the "offline" issue: flash rom, then reboot to recovery, then flash mindthegapps. This will solve your connection issue
now, 3 month later finish guarantee, my charger burned out
happy, becase i was in the same room and stop fire, if i wasnt-maybe burnt all house!!!!!

It is possible to disable the "green dot" when geolocation is used using the developers' options. I have an Italian-localized OS but it should be the last option in the menu, named sort of "Location indicator in the status bar". When the option is disabled, the green dot doesn't appear anymore and when an app uses the GPS only the standard icon is shown.
This thing has come handy with the last update (2022-05-17) since it introduces an annoying bug that should be fixed with the next update

Thanks for your help. I found that the switch in the developer options got reset after reboot.
The following is my solution as implemented in Tasker. I run this at system start.
Task: Green Dot Location Suppress (A12)
<need to have the following commands in the following sequence for it to work:
-device_config put privacy location_indicators_endabled false default
-device_config put privacy camera_mic_icons_enabled false default
-device_config put privacy camera_mic_icons_enabled true default
Per my testing, the commands need to be executed in the sequence listed above - otherwise it does not work.

ABOUT GAPPS:
Does this Rom come with GAPPS?
No, it doesn't. It means you'll not have "Google Play Store" app or any other Google related service or application in it.
If i wanna use it, wich one should i use?
Make sure to flash the right one that matches to your current Android version, AVOID Stock packages, and the ones that contains "Pixel Launcher" in it, it seams conflicts with Lineage Stock Launcher, and it will give you black screen.
For Lineage 19.1 ONLY!!!
For sure the better one seams to be the one that Lineage recomends you, that you can find it right here in Google Apps | LineageOS Wiki
CHANGELOG 15-10-2022:
• October 5, 2022 Security Patch.
• Whatsapp audio call issues now gone.
• No more "Internal Error" message.

• VoLTE (Will never work on custom roms on LG phones)
• 10 bit video recording (Watching content in 10 bit works, you just cant record video in 10 bit format).

Code:
fastboot boot ofox-metadata.img
INSTALLATION
NOTE: It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
"ROM Firmware Required: Must be on 30F EM, 30D EMW/EAW/AWM, 30D EMW for N model"

Would it pass safetynet with microg, zygisk etc? I've heard ungoogled experience improved a lot recently
So I Accidently flash ofox to boot a/b with qfil and now my phone won't boot. Now the screen just show
"Your device has failed a routine safety check and will not boot." Is there a way to fix my phone so I can boot it back?

You need to get the boot_a.img and dtbo_a.img from the kdz stock rom a10 file and you can try flashing it in both boot_a and boot_b, dtbo_a and dtbo_b in qfil, this might fix it. ANd edl is still there, you need to try a fill more, and you will do it

sadly not, even if you just do a crosflash with another stock rom that isnt from your region, you cant use VoLTE, LG's fault
Hi,
I want to put this Lineage 19 rom on my G7. Can you help me please? My G7 is LM-G710EM, bootloader is unlocked. Its running LG's android 10 up to 01/11/2020 (that appears to be my final update possible - though I thought there was one in 2021?? - no available updates showing there now anyway)
1. (very noob question) when we say 'stock' do we mean just 'what came with the phone, and its subsequent updates?' As in, we didn't install any roms or recovery at this point. Is that right? Thats what i have right now. UK phone.
2. My firmware is V30h-EUR-XX, in this thread it says I need: "ROM Firmware Required: Must be on 30F EM, 30D EMW/EAW/AWM, 30D EMW for N model" - So do I need to find and install the 30F EM firmware? Where can I find the files and instructions please? Is it here: https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-lmg710em-firmwares/ ? ...Or is my V30h ok without this as its newer firmware?
**KEY QUESTION**
3. Could someone please outline for me the 'roadmap' for getting my G7 from: LG A10 -- to ---> L19
(Please correct / advise below)
1. use ofox to replace firmware 30H with 30F
2. use ofox to install L19 over existing LG A10
Is that right? ...or are there steps missing? e.g. I need to install x, then do y, ... and then install L19, or something like that?
Very grateful for any help you can give!
I am a noob but I had some success already putting cyanogen / lineage roms on old devices:
amazon kindle fire, my old HTC oneX, Samsung Galaxy Trend, LG G4 ...all still working fine ;-) ...thanks to XDA.
(I might not be able to reply straight away - work hours - but I'll try to get back asap)
Many Thanks,

Hey, you are fine with your 30H firmware, you should have no problems with it.
Anyway, to change firmware you don't use ofox, you use LGUP
the guide you can find on this thread
Cross-Flash Oreo or Pie firmwares for all LG G7, G7+ dual sim Thinq except t-mobile
Once in ofox you can do from "CLEAN FLASH" steps of this guide

Hi,
Thanks so much for your reply.
I will not try to flash firmware as you think mine will be OK, but I will check out the linked information you gave for my own understanding.
I will use ofox and follow the 'clean flash' guide from here, as you advise.
That's great! Now I have a plan for action
I will try this over the next couple of days.
Many thanks,
Success!!
Thanks for your help, I have L19 running on my G7 now. the install was painless! all seems good and working. I'm just trying it out, but so far, smooth. It is really nice to have something so up to date running on the phone. also so clean and simple, without all the crud the original system had. a huge improvement.
I have some questions,
- After reboot, trebuchet gives me an Android System message: 'There's an internal problem with your device. Contact your manufacturer for details'
...after I dismiss it, I don't see it again. Have you seen this message? It is too cryptic for me to troubleshoot, but it doesnt seem to be causing a problem (as yet....?)
- Android System Trust Security throws up 2 alerts: This build was signed with public keys ; SELinux is not enforcing, your security has been weakened
...I'm guessing these are ok?
- In the Lineage camera app, the wide camera does not function (only main and front present).
I already put Open Camera app on there, which recognises all three cameras, and gave me great results before this on the G7, so I use Open Camera anyway.
- Can anyone recommend a GCam build for this rom? even better if its older and I don't have to root and do the 'buffer fix' stuff.
If anyone could advise, That would be great thank you!
Cheers,
