General I decided to just buy ubl - Black Shark 4

I wanted to root this daang phone bs4 pro to be able to unlock games fps cap using gltools and be able to play at much higher frame rate but because of Xiaomi's restriction in the unlocking of bl, I was forced to buy a service from someone in telegram to unlock it.
It's kind of frustrating having to spend 100usd just to root a phone but I guess this is the only way for now. Atleast I am now able to play CODM at 144fps and can now customize my phone to my heart's content.
If you guys really want to unlock your bl I suggest to just go the painful way of paying a service for something we could have easily done for free or just forget about it and move on.

Playing at 144 fps should be delicious, but you have payed much higher price than you should for unlock bl. In TAOBAO, the Chinese market you can obtain it for 60$. Basically, you payed in telegram to a guy that intermediate between you and a Chinese dude that unlocked the phone because only china people have the tools to unlock it.
Also, tell me how fast 144 fps drain your battery.
Lastly, the gltools engine fps limiter also works to unlock 144 fps in pubg mobile, but not in Pubg new state nor Apex legends mobile. That's a big F for me because I only play the last 2 games i mentioned. And the gltools dev just desapeared again like a few years ago

Gameloft's problem with android market?

I was wondering why Gameloft has a problem with android market bc yesterday I bought a game via my Galaxy Tab and they took it out of my paypal but I never got the game and now I have sent them two emails and have to call them tomorrow and I am like 85% sure this would not have happened with the Android market.
Out of curiosity, did you read the license for the games purchased from their site? You can only re-download a game on the same phone you bought it (and same sim-phone number), and only for 3 years. Not sure if i remember well, but it might even had a limit of how many times you can download a game!
I would never ever buy anything from their site.

Yea, I wasn't going to buy from their website at first, but then I figured I was just being paranoid and bought it, and now I am out $5...Well, I guess thats what I get for trying to buy something from them legitly(if thats even a word...)

Legitimately is what you're after
There is an upper size limit on apps from the marketplace, currently 50MB I believe, by offering applications directly they can bypass this limit. For example, NFS:Shift is roughly 120MB and Asphalt:HD is just on 100MB. I'm pretty sure both download additional data to the SD Card as well.
Other games have a small client and just download a mass of extra data (e.g. that shadow souls or whatever that new RPG game is called that downloads ~1GB of data), so they could adopt that method, presumably they choose not to.
They also probably want a bigger cut of the profits by charging directly, they'd probably have much better exposure in the marketplace though.

Legitimately thats it....
Update with them: They sent me the games that I wanted(spider-man hd, dungeon hunter hd(buy one get one free)) and created me an account after I called them and explained my mistake so it was cool...
Until the bug in the game spider-man hd where it wont load the stage called, "Mystery Infection Strikes City" so I called them and they said to keep spider-man hd on my tablet and they should be issuing an update in a few months and they sent me a free game(hero of Sparta) for all my troubles.
About them on the market: Well that sucks bc if they were on the market they could issue updates faster; but then again since they have different versions for different devices(for some reason) it may get a bit confusing.
FYI NFS installer is around 20mb (smaller for Ashphalt5HD), the 120 MB is the total after downloading the data once in the game.
So that's not a reason for market avoidance (both NFS and Ashphalt are on the market anyway, least here in the UK and also both are available for free in samsung apps regardless).
I downloaded Spiderman of the site, and evertime i try it i get a "this is not an official copy of spiderman" error and it closes, i have tried over wifi, or 3g, and with the SIM i had at the time of purchase in the tab.
I'm not that bothered about the game though, it was one of my vouchers from the samsung pack anyway.

Gameloft 99cent sale and transformer

I see that gameloft has all their games on sale for 99 cents. I cannot download these games because it grays out the transformer tablet. Is this device not compatible with any of their games?

you are correct. Gameloft sucks.
If you have another android device, buy the game on there then look for a hacked apk. I don't support piracy, which is why I suggest buying it first.
Would one not be able to buy it and download it on one device and then copy the apk to the other device?

Typically no, Gameloft games are protected. I've tried backing up .apks and trying them on various devices and they don't work. It says "not an original .apk" and closes out of the app.
I personally disagree with that mode of thing. If I paid of an App, i should get to play it on any of my devices, understanding the risk of it possibly not preforming correctly.

welcome to the crappy company that is gameloft- the company that makes ace games but makes you pay for them each time you play them eg letsgolf- used to be able to play all the holes having only paid for the game once- now they make you pay to play each hole.
gameloft realised they have some desirable games and have decided to rinse their customers for the privilage of playing them- the main reason why i refuse to give the mofo's any of my hard earned..

Its TF version of Let's Golf different than SGS2? In SGS2 is limited as 1 per energy cell and you can sum 6 energy cells. If you want more, you pay, but energy recovers as 1 cell per hour. Its not great, but its not so bad...
Aside from that I also find bad the offer, since TF can only run 4 games from Gameloft and I don't really know why they don't increase that number since Let's Golf for example can run in many other tablets.

I am not sure if the sale is over or applies to these games. However here is a list of confirmed working games on the transformer. I have Spiderman, Uno, N.O.V.A. & Asphalt 6 all working with no issues. Yes, all were purchased via the website.

Finally got a OnePlus One... Need advice

I had then zenfone 2 with 4GB of ram... It ran great but for gaming it ran like crap... I don't think they are optimizing games with Intel chips yet... So I found someone who had a 64GB Oneplus One and we traded phones... Great deal as I love this phone and I can do with 3GB of ram... Now my question is CM12.1 latest update the best this phone has to offer or is there better ones out there.. I game a lot and I mean a lot lol... Like modern Combat 5 GTA (all of them) and mortal Kombat X for example... Also anything I must do besides root my device and unlock bootloader (that's always obvious lol) thanks guys for your help and advice...

You won't know which ROM suits you until you've tested them for yourself. There's nothing you must do, apart from unlocking your bootloader. You might find my guide helpful.

Sammy throttling S7 way too much

Just read a review for G5, while its not my cup of tea it does wipe the floor with s7 in gaming due to less throttling and better coding.
http://www.techspot.com/review/1175-lg-g5/page4.html
It just super annoying
I think the solution will arrive when there is a custom kernel available. Then you will be able to choose which governor to use.
I think we won't have to wait too much...

They just found the one benchmark where the G5 is actually good and build an article around it. I have an xbox one and a ps4 so I couldn't care less about the s7 edge throttling my freecell. Have you even tried the G5? It is fast, the camera is great and that's it. I bought one on Thursday and posted it on Kijiji on Tuesday.
Sent from my SM-G935W8 everything stock...
the point is the Note 5 was the perfect gaming device for me, it the only phone that rank tekken 6 at 60fps on QHD resolution and never get too hot, fps didn't drop at all!!!
After 6.0.1 update it all went to hell, same with S7 and the S7 is capable of much more.
Fake for me because I had z5 and g5 and this device was hotter then s7 edge check YouTube g5 going to 46 Celsius degree s7 edge max to 40 and throttling is bigger on g5
Exynos on pe9
First run 32k I basemark x on hight
Second run : 18k
3 run: 26 k
4 run 32k
5 run 32k
6 run 32k
7.8.8.10 run 32 k
On outside with auto brightest
Sooo yeah phone was cool maybe 35 Celsius
benchmarks means nothing, test it in real games. it barely plays tekken dark resurrection and stutter endlessly, if ppsspp not crashing due to samsung stupid driver error, on Note 5 it works 60 fps ALL THE TIME!!!
All until sammy 6.0.1, that update ruined gaming for me on both devices.
I fix my problem with need for speed with bad fps.
Try this: open game tuner (instal it if dont have it)
Go to setings and then to aplication category. Search for your game and select that is not a game.
Then try again and see 60fps+

This trick will also prevent it from changing screen modes.
I think that made the trick that I hopelessly waited for so long, thank you, I will try it more to obtain a conclusive result but, currently my problems seem to have gone
Didn't notice any difference in games like Temple Run Oz - a game which used to run fluently with highest settings on a Nexus 2013... It's unplayable, regardless if set as game or not.
Changing to governor to performance temporarely fixes the problem completely though.

As another poster said, it doesnt work.
Marvel Champions still drops down to 30fps lock pretty damn quickly, killing the fluidity of it.
Looking like custom kernels are the only way to fix this mess that Samsung have created.

There is no need for a custom kernel. You can just disable GameMode with Package Disabler Pro.

it's not working for everyone, i disabled it and it didn't help at all, my games are cpu intensive and GPU intensive, but ran perfect on Note 5 before 6.0.1, there is no hope, samsung never gonna fix it.

Did nothing sadly.
Custom kernel seemed to just make it look like 30fps on crack (responsiveness of 60fps, with judder of 30fps).

Report it to Samsung if you haven't yet. I hope they're aware of this issue already though, and this is (luckily) a pure software issue though, so no need to freak out

i reported, posted two different video's on youtube, went through several sammy channels, and they said they will forward it further... but tbh nothing will happen.
I did the same with Note 5 on 21 Feb, when it got 6.0.1 and performance in games were poor, very very poor, going back to 5.1.1 made it perfect again, again samsung will never care for it.
its killing me on marvel contest of champions. thiking about returning the damn phone and that sucks... otherwise i love it but if u spend an hour a day or more gaming it becomes unbearable

that true, i wouldn't advise gaming on S7, it pure crap at that, on software level, at least with root u can make it managable, idk how sammy fail so hard at a simple task...
You actually need a custom kernel, set big cores to blu_active governor and everything works at 60fps
ondemand seems to do the trick too, but heck we need to root for this.

Games locked at 60fps

So dissappointed, I sold my ROG phone 2 only to find out games are locked at 60fps on the oppo X2 pro despite having a better SD865. Any users that are running android 11 experience this problem too? I just hope it gets solved in android 11. I wonder if the game devs are to be blamed by locking games at 60 on the oppo devices? Or if it's a color OS issue. Such good hardware. It's a shame.
I have a worse problem ... I play Marvel Contest of Champions and I only have 30fps there ... this is a joke ...

contact the devs via game or google play. i did this on a few games, waiting answer
I am on Android 11 now and still no joy , games are still locked at 60fps. Only some games like real racing 3 and PUBG work at 120fps, but other games like grimvalor, subway surthers, oddmar run at 60hz locked.
I just wish there was an app like autohz, that can force apps to 120hz.
It's a shame that we don't anything like that at the moment (probably because not many people have this phone and not as much support).
It's really tempting me to change phones to a OnePlus instead.
It's so frustrating not being able to take advantage of the hardware on a £1100 phone. Have you heard back from oppo?
