Hello! Thank you for joining us as an alpha tester for Project Dynamic, which was first released. The current project isn't to bring more features and more settings to the device, but rather to create custom roms using older firmware and upload custom roms so that users don't leave because they're not satisfied with their current One UI. And the goal of this project is to attract users who are satisfied with the previous (Samsung Experience) design. So, We don't have plans for One UI based custom rom in Galaxy A8.

Thank You for yors job.
I have installe and try rom .
Below a problems with that rom:
Still(its happend also with firs Crab rom) theare is not more languages to choose.(CSC problem)
Duble sim not recognized.
Installed applications with no sense.
To have two languages for keyboard you have choose english first, because second not allowed.
Thats all normal for alpha tests.
Waiting for update and we will try Yours new jobs.

There was a device before, but it's hard to show it because it's flooded now. But I can assure you, this ROM was released in January under the official name of Team Crab, and it was officially fully installable. So we guarantee that this ROM will be installed successfully. If there is a problem, please send me a chat using http://samsu.xyz. and This is a stock rom from Official Firmware and that means it can install google pay. Thanks for your question. If you need any questions, please contact to http://samsu.xyz using a Chat Support.

I'm done with this account.
Hello, We're back.
I'm done with this project and this account.
and We're moving to new account and creating new project for it.
This Account is only pointed on A530, But we're re-pointing to more awesome projects and more awesome devices.
We'll back soon with new account and new project.
TwentyTwentyTwo will get keeped for archive but update of project will discontinued.

Types of Releases:
MoKee OpenSource has 4 kinds of releases: official release, beta, nightlies, and unofficial builds.
Official release: This version is tested throughly by developers and users, so it is the most stable build
Beta: When a device is newly added, there will be beta versions for testing, but there might be unknown bugs and problems
Nightlies: Nightlies are compiled automatically by servers, so it will have the latest features but beware of uncompleted works
Unofficial builds: These builds are compiled from source or ported by non MoKee developers
Official Releases:
MoKee Open Source supports many devices, but the developers may not have all devices in hand, so if there are device maintainers that can help out, the official releases will be decided by them, MoKee Open Source will only maintain the nightlies to ensure the usability of the ROM. However, for devices with no device maintainers, MoKee Open Source will decide when to release official builds or nightlies. Therefore, if you have a device maintainer, please get the official releases from your respective device maintainer's thread or nightlies from MoKee Open Source.

If you mod, change, or alter the ROM from original flash (kernels apps tweaks) please report any issues in their correct thread.
I can not help you with their issues
I Hope you enjoy

XOS is a new generation cutting-edge OS based on the Android Open Source Project and Code Aurora Forum releases.
What is XOS?
halogenOS, also known as XOS is a new Android ROM which ships with the global aim to
become a modular ROM which keeps as high as potentially possible operating
performance on your mobile device while still maintaining a sufficient feature
base of nice, small and minimal features that would not be available via any
external feature base, extension, mod or plugin.
We hope you have a truly halogenified experience!
Internals of XOS
At core, the ROM is composed mainly of components from the Android Open Source Project (AOSP)
and CodeAuroraForums (CAF),
featuring only extremely minor set of components from LineageOS (LaOS or LN) which
have been added to source in order to allow for better cross-device compatibility.
Our LOVE to others
A huge thanks goes to those behind the AOSP and CAF, the LineageOS Project and all of its
contributors for the sources used in the development of the base ROM which we
started with inclusive of all the work and dedication their team puts in order to
keep us updated on the awesome contributions that they make.
We will be keen on ensuring that we be up to date with the code from our base sources,
with regular ROM updates hopefully coming from time to time.
Please do not ask for ETA's (else you shall be spooked by Mr Skeltal). Almost all of us are
students, and with the current lifestyles and routines we have, it is not that easy to acquire
time to develop the ROM, though we'll be sure to keep you updated and release OTAs as
soon as they are available and ready for publication. If you want to be really updated quick,

About Us: Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first created based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean because of curiosity. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device (EVO 3D). Since then many others have joined the project and it has grown a whole lot. We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours and many of our contributors have gone to help other projects and that is ultimately why we do what we do.
Once Jelly Bean was over, we decided in Kitkat to move to a new base which was OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting because it challenged us to see what we could with something different.
With Lollipop, we have moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. That said it has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward.
Few more things we will say is that we don't accept nor ask for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc.....
We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask is that you search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

GPS issues?
Hi, I just now loaded up this for the first time on a XT1080M. I noticed that the GPS doesn't detect any satellites.
Anybody else experience this?
*EDIT* Just noticed I'm first, how the heck haven't more people commented about this sweet ROM, people don't use this phone anymore?

This is a first for any of my builds but it is a well known source ROM issue with an easy fix...
Make sure fastboot binaries are installed on your PC, reboot your device to the bootloader, and run these 3 commands.
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot reboot
All will be well

I accept NO responsibility for what you do (or can't do) with your own device. I am not responsible for bootloops, fruitloops or frickazees.
I DO accept responsibility for: Thermonuclear detonation & Zombie Apocalypse.
I started compiling this ROM as Unofficial because I have been using AICP exclusively for 2 years (on M7 & now Bacon) and figure if no one objects I can share some of the work. This is my HOBBY.
With that I say THANK YOU AICP (LorD ClockaN, n3ocort3x & semdoc along with their entire dev team) for bringing such terrific work to our devices.
I make no claim to doing any more than compiling and making minor changes to what I want from the build. I own these devices and enjoy the modifications, I hope you will also. PEACE.
Basic Changes from "Official" AICP Rom:
OTA is NOT enabled on my build
(dirty flashing an "Official" over my build & vice versa does work, most changes I made are cosmetic with some cherri-picks)
I don't recommend "backwards" flashing dirty - so check the build dates

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 12 (S), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

Wow, development has came a long way for this device. It's nice to see Android 12 for this device!
One issue though; the task switcher is broken. If this were to be fixed I would use this rom more often.
I do know this device isn't my daily driver anymore, but I understand that this is a work in progress.
Amazing. Thanks for the support on Merlin ^^.

I'm sorry but does this mean to flash it we must be in marshmallow based firmware first?
Also amazing work for a 6 year old phone!

@althafvly ....you mad scientist you!!! Is this a build of Android 12 I see for a little budget device that launched with Android Lollipop back in 2015? Guys hats off to @althafvly for keeping the 3rd Gen Moto G spirit alive. He never fails to surprise me with these miraculous custom builds. It is well done, Sir. Thank you for your hard work and continued dedication to the beloved Moto G3. Love for both the Osprey and Merlin models. Bravissimo

OP, the January, 2022, security patch build seems more fluid and responsive than the previous builds. In addition to bringing up the security patch level, did you make stability improvements and bug fixes also? Thanks.
This ROM works fine, thank you! Great work to keep this old mobile up to speed!
The only thing is the widgets, I can't seem to find them. Long pressing on the home screen doesn't present any choice to add them.
And the battery light stays on although I turn it off in the settings.
Minor stuff, of course, but still, I wonder.
Edit: I tested Nova launcher and the widgets are there, but just not accessible via Trebuchet.
is it compiled as android go?, is it possible that the surnia was the same?
Where do I get the correct Gapps version for 19.0?
EDIT: Never mind. I got everything I need working without it.
Updated to 12L (check OP for link)
- Fixed mobiledata

Hi. I am new to this and want to install this os on my moto g turbo. But i am unable to figure out the steps to follow. If anyone could provide me the link to a guide that i could follow for this, it would be helpful. Also, do i need to root my phone to install this os?
Thank you.

All done. I was able to find some guides and installed the OS. Bugs are the same as mentioned at the top. And it works beautifully. Thank you.
good evenings, I know this was posted long time ago, I nhave a friend that has the moto g3, do you recommend me to update his device?? I am very scared by watching at the bugs you mentioned, also... I saw a recent update I'm going to use that one, is it stable? Thanks, Giyax
sorry friend, but when I do a clean installation and then install the gapps it doesn't let me or the start of my google account doesn't appear
Hello all, thank you for this work! In my osprey 2/16 LTE don't work
Since 17.1 updates stopped, I consider jumping on 18.1 or 19.1....any reason to prefer 18.1 to this most recent unofficial LOS ROM?
Is it possible to use the SD card as internal storage in 19.1?
