Question Active LTE outside US? - Samsung Galaxy Watch 4

Got a US watch4 classic LTE version for a gift, Does anyone know is it possibe active LTE outside US by forien carrier? And the carrier of watch should be same as phone? Thanks

Hi what's the model number of your watch? You can in theory use a different carrier to the phone SIM card by using a developer setting in the wearable app, a lot of carriers don't always offer esim only packages though.
The US version supports different LTE frequency to most of the rest of the world. https://www.samsung.com/global/galaxy/galaxy-watch4-classic/carrier/
If you check there, and check the supported frequency of the carrier in the country you want to use you might find an option that works.

GSM + CDMA with phone feature for use with VZW

I could not find a definitive answer to this anywhere. I would like to purchase a NON-US variant of the Samsung galaxy tab with phone feature enabled, for use with VZW US.
I am currently in Taiwan and they have the phone enabled devices here but I am unsure if there is a model which will have CDMA+GSM OR IF IT IS EVEN COMPATIBLE ON VERIZONS NETWORK.
Taiwan does have CDMA. I believe it is 800 and VZW in the US is 800/1900.
I will also be visiting japan as well, so if there is a galaxy tab phone there that will work on the us verizon network I'd pick that up.
This should really be as simple as finding a model that supports both GSM and CDMA and just inserting the 4G LTE SIM card into it when I am back in the states.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Forbidden City Model

I have a few questions about this model:
Anyone know if there is a Global ROM in the works or can I put the normal Mi Mix 3 Global Rom on this model?
Anyone know what settings I need to set to allow this phone on to ATT's LTE network? I attempt to use the APN ATT Nextgenphone but it will not connect to that one. I have to use the Att Phone which it will connect but still it will not let me get anything above 3G speeds.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
LTE/Carrier
Before I purchased this phone, I checked all the sites for compatibility and what bands/frequencies AT&T uses for their LTE/4G networks. All of the sites stated that the Forbidden City model has all the bands needed to work with the carrier. Does anyone know how to get the phone to work with the LTE bands or what carrier in the USA will the phone work with the best?
Any help would be much appreciated!

it's got best all around LTE band coverage for AT&T in my area. Verizon isn't bad, just expensive. T-Mobile supports all the bands in my area but the quality sucks in my opinion. Sprint is obviously garbage especially for unlocked international phones.

Question Why isn't possible to use LTE functionality of a galaxy watch 4 globally?

I want to purchase a GW4 classic LTE from usa and use it in India.
I understood that it should be possible because the hardware should remain same irrespective of the region/country?
This is so with smartphones also because a samsung phone will be compatible with mobile carriers globally.
Region specific firmware is just to enable/disable settings or apps.
Please correct if my understanding is wrong.
My T-Mobile LTE watch 4 did not connect to any network, neither in Europe nor in India. When checked with TMO I was told that LTE connectivity will work only in the US, despite my having international roaming. Why so, no idea.
The LTE frequency bands are different.
Only Roaming 3g in Mexico and Canada had worked on my prior Samsung T-Mobile LTE watch's. Haven't traveled yet with my watch 4 LTE....

Question S908U frequencies and bands

Hi
Can't seem to get a straight answer out of Samsung live chat.
Are the confirmed frequencies and bands of S908U published somewhere?
Check www.kimovil.com. Really great site to check bands and whether device will work in a certain country and /or carrier.

Is it reliable and accurate? eg 16gb ram.
I did see that beforehand but couldn't see where they sourced the frequency info from.

Question Esim in foreign country LTE version from abroad

I have a USA an UK LTE galaxy 4. I am trying to get LTE Esim card working in Israel. Ive been told it wont work if the watch is from abroad. I saw on the Samsung USA site they say that the watches only work esim in USA and not abroad. I cant find info about UK.
Is there any way to use these watches as esim foreign countries.
No issues using any of the apps - Google pay etc as have seen on other threads. There I see I can change CSC. Would that even help for Esim compatability?
