Question Picture size on my S22U vs S21U - Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

Hello. I just took few pictures to compare my S21U with my new S22U, anyone know why the S21U have a length between 6-7mb while S22U are half size, 2-3mb? I have the same settings.
Thank you!

Probably not since you might be the first person to have gotten their S22 Ultra....

Got it the other day, i just found odd the pictures sizes compared to my 21u.

maybe the s21 uses the hec compression - which is smaller size

That's possible, although I don't think it's enabled by default.

I only see HEIF settings not HEC, is it the same thing? But it's off.

sorry - i meant HEIF
other than that i dont know - it could be that you have setup to get raw copies of the pictures too - or simply you're using different settings for picture quality
the cameras are the same so dont think they would affect the image size if the same settings

Same exact settings... so i really dont know. I guess I'll wait and see if it happens to someone else as well.

These are the new ones but not available yet for sale even on Samsung site (at least here in Italy).
I'm using an old Anker pad that is very slow, I'm not sure if these 2 new ones are faster than other Samsung pads.

Thanks. I googled quickly as I have limited time and seems this one will top up to 15W while the current models are at 5W. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please.

The new ones should be 15W while most other pads are 5W or 10W (i think Samsung has a 10W pad already).

Small / Keychain-able USB-micorUSB Charging cable

Due to an appauling battery life on the othewise brilliant "superphone", I am trying to find a solution where I can charge it often using a USB port in computers/laptops etc at workplace or outside.
Has anyone come across a USB-micorUSB charging cable which is available like a small dangle we can attach to a key chain/ring? I have seen retractable ones on the internet, they are not small enough to be attached to a keyring. Any experience?
Thanks.
This is the best I've seen but it is out of stock. =|

I wonder if that would work or not.
The small clip that holds the 2 sides together looks like it could potentially get in the way when connecting the mini usb to some phones.
Sadly, they seem to be sold out as well.
Good find none the less.

I don't have a desire so I cant verify whether or not it has a lanyard slot.
I'm one of the unfortunate ones praying that AT&T will announce they will be getting the desire. =[

If you have a gel or silicon case you could always make a small hole at the bottom to fit the lanyard through...

That last one looks great, they have both the S series and W series connectors on there that look cool. ( I like the look of the W series as it looks a bit smaller and thats the point of the cable.) But can anyone see where we can actually buy these?
edit- They have an eBay shop SmartcablesUK, and they are about £5 inc delivery for the W series ones!!! So even if they are shoddy quality, that's not bad at all!

This could allow it to dock but remember the time taken to charge using a USB port would be more when compared to charging using a wall charger.

Up or down angle charge-only cable?

Hey folks, I need an up/down angle charge-only MicroUSB cable for my Note 4.
I can find right and left angle that provide quick charge rates but cannot find any up or down angle, which is what my need is at the moment.
Something that looks like this slow-charging startech cable:

Are you talking about the ones that look like a "U" shaped plug, where the cable wraps around the backside of the phone?
If so, the only place I seen anything like that has been at electronic stores and Amazon e-reader Kindle displays. I managed to talk to store manager at one of these stores who let me trade the cable out with a cable I bought from the store. I won't mention the store name because that doesn't matter, it's strictly YMMV when it comes to this.
Honestly its the only place I could find one but this was a few years ago and they could be available now.

S7 Camera internal Reflection Issue?

This weekend I noticed when aiming towards the sun I get some kind of artefact, as if there is some reflection inside the camera module... Also noticable when pointing towards a lantern post or even lamp (inside darker surroundings). Attached 2 examples...
Also shot a movie where you can see the effect moving around, from bottom center left clockwise... So it doesn't look like a damage to the lens right? Anyone know what this is, if it can be fixed? Guess it's a trip to the shop for me though :/

Last night I took some pix of the sunset and a couple images had the exact same reflection or whatever it is. I hope Samsung comes up with a fix for this.
Somehuman
Well that won't be fixed with any update, it looks like some kind of fault with the anti reflective coating or the glass covering the lens, take it back point out to them what the problem is get it replaced & test again if this is the case with all S7's in direct light then i'll skip this phone & stick with the S6 as mine has no such problems.
It actually seems that it also happens on my S6, but less extreme. Also on another site I learned that it is not weird behavior, but also that I'm not the only one... The question is mainly if it's an above average manifestation and whether I can live with it
Attached another example...
Does somebody know if there is a plastic protection sticker on the camera sensor and the heartrate/flashlight sensor? Samsung told me there is, but I don't see one. Somebody can clear this up

On the 4th day, I just simply showed them a pure white image so they can see pink tint on the lower part of the screen when the brightness is below 40%. They also extended my 7 days replacement with another 7 days replacement. By the way, I talked with my local telco and not directly to Samsung since I got my unit from my telco.

Damn that's much better than the condition here. Instead of just extending the 7 days replacement period. Most dealers in Dubai will just tell us to review the new product at the moment we go for replacement and any problem raised after that day will be only considered under warranty. BTW Telco is a carrier?

Normal, around 40 to 50 degrees Celsius depending on the load, it's somewhat warm but not uncomfortably warm thanks to the heat pipe and the efficiency of the Exynos under high thermal load.
