Question NFC NOT WORKING - iQOO 7

Suddenly My Device is creating a issue regarding Sound then i go to iqoo service center they wipe my phone data and reinstall the firmware , after the problem solved a new problem was created regarding NFC . i use a App called All tap & Gpay for payment via NFC in my Iqoo 7 but after reinstall firmware they didn't worked, my NFC is working but they didn't work with my apps ,i attached a file containing the error showing.

This could be happening due to some app integration bug that's there in Android 12.
Or some app bug as well. It is unlikely that if the same version of OS had the functionality working, it's not working post a wipe.
Either app bug or an OS upgrade could be the issue IMO.

[Completed] [Q] Can't Click on Facebook Notification [ APP ]

Phone : Oppo find 7a ( Newly bought )
When there is notifications on facebook , i am able to click on the "globe icon" to "view" a list of notifications but i am unable to click those and go to that specific notification .
Troubleshoot Done :
1) Re-installed the app & even cleared the cache
2) Checked with the Oppo Customer Service Centre ..... Guess what ? They will either suggest to reformat or update the system version . So they just updated the system version . Still the problem persist ?
3) Sometimes we need to wait for an hour to able to click on those notifications .

Sorry for the late response, did you get this resolved? If not could you please provide more information? Like Devices Make, Model, system version or build, rooted, rom?

issue with Galaxy S7 new update G930FXXU1DQIL (messages app)

today i update my s7 to G930FXXU1DQIL and all seems good but messages app.
default messages app work good (send/receive sms) but when i open 1 message and want to add that on spam message with 3 little line on top right symbol app crash.
i don on/off phone also wipe cach data but still happen. cant master reset or factory reset duo my data an also this is no serious problem at all but any solution anybody have?
Are yo root bro? you can update your message app form apkmirror and install it vía TWRP

You don't need root to update system apps, just toggle secure startup, reboot and install them
ok it seems real bug....i do master factory reset without restoring any data and problem still exist. so this is the real bug of this version.
what can i do now? im not root

The issue is present only on BTU/XEU CSC (G930FXXU1DQJ3) ( Did not try others)
Tried PHN (G930FXXU1DQJ1) and ROM (G930FXXU1DQJ3). They are fine.
There is different Samsung Messages version 4.1.31 ( BTU/ROM ) vs Samsung Messages version 4.1.28 ( PHN ). So it should be related to something within CSC not within app version.
I fixed it by installing Samsung Messages 4.2.03.12 Latest version targeting Android 7.0. Newer versions will most likely create more problems.
You can also use Android Messages

I just told you, toggle secure startup on or off, reboot and install the apks

ok now seems contacts also has this problem....opening contacts settings cause error and crash...
so pls link default samsung contacts too
Is not crashing for me, so i did not test this version. The one on the phone is 3.1.07.73

I'm having trouble installing APK's from APKMIRROR. In various applications of Samsung e.g. Gallery, Browser, TochWiz, Bixby, Calendar, Clock .... I always get the error message "Application not installed. Package is in conflict with another package with the same name".
I do not have root.

Toggle secure startup to on and then reboot your phone. Install the application.
Settings - Lock screen and security - secure startup. Check require password...
If it is already checked, uncheck it and reboot.
Sometimes you also need an wipe cache from recovery. After you install your app you can toggle secure startup to original state and reboot ?

Thanks for suggestion and link for samsung messages, it worked! The messages problem happened to me as well, on S7 edge dual sim G935FD, and italian update G935XXU1DRA2. Trying to understand what was happening I realised that the application did not crash with sms coming from a program (like those for adverts) but it crashed only for sms coming from a phone number either in the contacts or not.

"Files has stopped" Issue

Hi there. I've just upgraded my phone to Oreo and I have this issue with the 'Files' app (not the My Files app). Whenever the Files app is launched to pick a file (e.g. attach a file in Gmail or select a photo in Snapseed) the Files app will immediately crash with a 'Files has stopped' error.
I have tried booting the phone into safe mode and tried attaching a file in Gmail, which worked perfectly. So my guess is that a third-party app is causing the persistent crash. However, my phone has several apps and trying to identify the culprit app(s) will be too much of a hassle.
Does anyone else have the same issue after upgrading to Oreo and have a solution to it (other than factory resetting)?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Probably there's a bug somewhere. So you could do any of the following:
1. Wait for an update
2. Do a factory reset
Apart from these two, I don't see other options.

I have the same problem with my NOTE8, after the March Update, this problem started to appear.
Got in touch with the guys from MyFiles and after few e-mails, they say:
''I checked your log files and found out some error.
But these are regardless of MyFiles so cannot handle it anymore by our side.
com.android.documentsui has problem and it seems to be below apk''

And I believe its a major software glitch that has to be corrected by google/android/samsung...
As others have suggested this may be due to the app nit working with Oreo.
I use FX explorer app from play store, it works with every version of android I have ever used including S8× exynos Oreo
As well as being a great file explorer / management app it can be used to navigate to a specific file to attach etc.

Question Install Global Rom on an Indian Variant phone -- Gmail Notifications Issue

I am currently on 11.2.8.8. LE25DA, Model LE 2111.
I have tried all the workarounds to resolve the notifications issues that i have ( Gmail,Telegram and other work profile related apps) but the issue is not resolved.
1. Uninstall Gmail from ADB, clear Cache, reinstall from APK.
2. Uninstalled updates ,force stop the app and restart.
3. Doze mode disabled through ADB.
4. Wipe cache from recovery.
5. Locking the App in the background
6. Battery Optimization disabled.
7. Ram boost Disabled.
8. Standby App setting is exempt for Gmail.
9. Downgraded to 11.2.4.4 using the MSM tool
On top of it the battery draining issue, i am not much worried about the battery issue as long as the notifications work promptly.
Is this is issue also existing on Global OS, if not would i be able to install the Global OS through the MSM tool? do i need to take back up of any Partitions?
Any other steps that can resolve this issue?

Question Notification problem on Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 [TB-J716F]

Hi everyone, I am a long-time user of the forum who recently purchased this tablet. It was delivered to me with fake global rom and I managed following the guides on the forum to flash the CN rom and block the bootloader. In doing so I managed to enable ota updates and certified L1, but now I have two problems, and specifically in this thread I will submit one that in my opinion is the worst: notifications problems. I tried to turn off battery optimization for the apps I was interested in receiving notifications, but despite this the notifications still do not arrive in any way, have you also had this problem? Is there anyone who by chance has solved it and in case knows how to help me? Thank you in advance for your support
You need to look for an app called security or security center. Within there you'll find an option to whitelist the apps you use regularly.
Sadly my tab suffers from the same bug described here

There is no fix yet as far as I am aware. They need to release an OTA. Its been an issue for a while though! What a joke the chinese software is!

Yeah sadly i think i have a newer version of the app and i can't install it , i tried also to uninstall with ADB command but it says failed not installed for user 0 , idk how to solve it
Also you can't disable it as the app controls permissions.
Do you know how to extract an app? When my XiaoXin Pad Pro 12.6 arrives late next week (hopefully) I could try and extract the latest version as I belive they've fixed it via an OTA.
i created a backup of the faulty app with es file explorer, but even trying to reinstall the one that is the same version gives me an error, i tried downloading app ops as someone suggested on the forum, but i have no idea how to set the apps i need.
The software on this tablet is a piece of crap, I'm regretting having locked the bootloader, at that point I should have flashed the twrp and the GSI.

I finally managed to uninstall the application using the ADB command " adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.zui.safecenter " but even in this case I can't install the working version of the apk (probably because the uninstall only affects my user and not the whole tablet, which would require the root).
also trying to install the older and working apk from the ADB terminal gives me error [INSTALL_FAILED_INVALID_APK: Package com.zui.safecenter is a persistent app. Persistent apps are not updateable.] even trying to ignore the version of the app
I'd say that at the moment I'm keeping it uninstalled while waiting for some good soul to give me some advice on how to proceed to solve the problem
I update you for those who may have the same problem. With the latest update the security app works smoothly, however the problem of notifications persists. Even disabling battery optimization for selected apps, whitelisting them for auto-start, and enabling all notifications within the app whenever I close the application from the task manager, notifications stop coming. This happens even when I simply closed the application and I continue to use the tablet for other operations (it is therefore not a problem related to the disconnection of the wifi or the standby of the device). I have no idea how to fix it, I tried everything (including some settings in the developer mode). So if anyone has any other suggestions I'm happy to try it
I have found that disabling the night mode in power settings, keeps my apps from getting closed even though I had the apps set for no battery optimization, and whitelist.
Do all Users on 13.1.555 suffer fromm the notification Bug like me?
Does a factory reset help?
