Hey guys i have purchased this mobile few days ago, on the first one or two days i got the edge lighting.
Now after the last security update im not able to see it , i have tried all the settings and tricks but not working at all .
please help me if u have any alternative idea

Thank you man it worked.
Actually my bad I turned off the animation scale in developer settings, that's the reason why it was not working.

Happened to me too, didn't work because I turned off animations or set animation scale to 0.

There's no need to do any of that. The default way of doing this is already in the settings menu:
Settings > My Device > Lockscreen > Shortcuts.

After firmware update some people including me lost that option.

i think staff like that calls for a factory reset after the update, its not supposed to happen so clearly something is wrong, you dont know what else may be affected

Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know that. Which firmware are you running if I may ask? I'm on Omega 13.2 and I have the option

Since MGA I believe.. don't remember exactly when but sometimes in June when a update came out. Any other firmware after that didn't include lockscreen shortcuts menu.

I m on Official MJ5 No root everything stock and i dont have this option in settings anymore so this Guide was very helpful

Yes same here sometimes in August. I downloaded OTA update maybe 2MB and that option was gone
Hi peeps this is my first post here, i hope this has not been asked before. My Nexus 5 rotates the screen upside down when battery hits 30%, it automatically un checks the auto rotate in display settings. I have no idea why it does this. Can anyone help.

Well, it's a ROM glitch for sure. There's not much you could do about it, except flashing the factory images:

That guide will work even if your phone is not rooted. Backup your app data with Helium Backup (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.backup) and your internal storage to your PC.

It Does work, But you need to reboot your device a bunch of times, and set the battery optimisation for the particular app off.
first time running the app will cause it to FC, this happened 2 times for me, just open the app again and you'll be able to customise it

Cool, It Does that sometimes too, I got it working that way on Custom ROMs though. Glad to know
Works fine for me as well (T-Mobile converted to International, 9.5.10, obviously rooted, stock kernel & Magisk). I do have battery restriction on. I did have one force close at one point, but otherwise works as intended.

you dont need to disable the battery optimisation, because the app only changes system files one time.
Just set the picture, press enter, reboot and open the app once. Now you should see the new image.
It doesn't work for me, after I reboot there is no change. I tired rebooting 4 times now and still nothing
Edit: I spoke to soon lol. It worked finally

Since I updated my OP 8T to Android 13, I have no vibration for any notification but it still working for calls.
I checked each settings and everything seems to be ok. I restarted the phone.. nothing changes...
I don't have any idea.
