Your second link, whoever made that post removed the download link to the unofficial TWRP app because of idiots on there. So that post is useless to me.

Vkworld VK700x Review - A $60 Smartphone

The VKWorld VK700 is a super cheap device costing just about $59.99 but with specs that are quite good for this price tag.
The phone looks quite good, has a CNC metal frame and a 6.9mm thin body.
It features the MT6580a quad-core chipset clocked at 1.5GHz, with 1GB RAM and 8GB of storage. This is further expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD. There’s a 5-inch display with 720p resolution, which is quite impressive given the price tag.
At the back, there’s an 5mp camera intrapolated to 8mp while up front, there is a 2mp sensor intrapolated to 5mp. Both cameras do a decent job in bright conditions, however any pictures taken in low light look pretty bad. This was to be expected for such a cheap device.
The device is running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Unfortunately the manufacturer decided to use their own launcher so it can add a few "features" to the device. That doesn't work that well; the phone becomes laggy and the offered features are useless. Installing nova launcher makes wonders and the phone becomes quite fast and snappy.
Another disappointing thing about this device is the 2200mah battery. It seems quite impossible to get more than 2h of screen time on. Of course, not everyone uses their phone that much, and it js quite possible that the phone will make it through an entire day with moderate usage.
Most apps and games work really well on this device even with the 1gb of ram. The phone does get quite hot while playing games. Luckily the heat dissipates quick enough thru the metal frame.
This phone doesn't have a notification light and the 3 buttons at the bottom of the device don't light up.
Overall, for $60usd you get a good looking phone that cuts some corners in order to keep that low price.
Check out the review video for more detailed information about this device.

Last question: how can I have recovery in English? Thanks for your work, Kywrosaki!
I can´t download the official firmware + recovery.
The download failed all times.
could somebody upload the files again?
Thanks,
Edit: I got it now. Thanks
OTA update to v11 firmware now available. But I don't want to loose root and the custom recovery, so I did not install it yet. The update.zip contains a lot of checks and probably also checks the bootloader and recovery.
Somebody already updated to v11? On the vkworld site, you can only download v08 firmware.
Thanks

You have to put recovery. After that in recovery you have to install "UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip" and ready. (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bxh2gs7XEYrYa3RDNUJWam02WGs/view?usp=sharing)
Getting the SPFlash Tool to work with the right drivers and timing is not always easy.
So is it possible to flash the custom TWRP through fastboot? Did somebody try that?
I own the VK700, paid around $65. Nice entry level phone, happy with it. Just some freezes sometimes probably because of the 1GB ram, and a lazy GPS. Except those minor issues, works great.

I rooted a VK700 a few months ago using RootGenius 2.2.6. More recently I wanted to root another VK700 but RootGenius was unable to do it, telling the VK700 was not in the list of rootable devices. I found it weird but then I used VRoot 1.8.6 and it worked fine.
Maybe you can try using these tools to root the VK700x?

Make separate forum subsection for Nokia 2.2

Hi, there a few threads on how to unlock the bootloader of the Nokia 2.2 and/or root it.
I think it would be more usefult if it could be opened a separare subsection in this forum for the Nokia 2.2, in which to move these separate but related threads.

Building Android 11 from source, need help with some questions.

I have been into installing custom ROMs and rooting Android for many years now, used many mid range Android devices, never tried to build one from source (did not have good enough hardware or broadband), now I have got both and want to try building ROM from source and got many questions, any help would be appreciated.
Important questions:(Need these answers before I start downloading Repos)
Is it possible to create any Android version Rom for any device? like I used to have Moto G2, if I can get it's source code, can I build Android 11 Rom for it? or am I missing something here?
I own Realme 5 Pro now, if I build Android 11 and flash it, is there any chance it could hard brick my device?
If I'd built Android 11 for R5 Pro, how would I know it's for my device? can I flash that firmware on another device? or vice versa? I know that flashing other device firmware can hard brick your device.
What are the chances of getting bugs after flashing? like ril not working, or maybe settings wont open, camera wont work etc. and how can I fix them for my specific device?
How can I ensure that the specific build only works for R5 Pro and not other device? like do I have to sign it with specific code or anything like that? any idea?
Not so important questions:(You can answer it if u know)
How much download is necessary to build from source? If u have built, is there any specific download size or different for specific devices?
Also if I want to build TWRP recovery for R5 Pro from scratch how would I go about doing that? and what about giving it a different theme style?
How long will it take for my specs pc to build? any estimated idea? (specs: 16gb ddr4 3600mhz ram, Ryzen R5 3700x, Nvidia 2060 Super, and lots of space)
Can I build this Rom to be flashed via recovery or is it has to be fastboot specific?
Can I build Android Kitkat or something old for newer devices?
So these are the initial questions that comes to my mind, I am posting this thread on some diff forums too, if u have any experience regarding this please do share, any help is appreciated, Thank you.

Question Help porting LineageOS (or any rom) for ROG Phone 5

Hi,
I wanted to port LineageOS for my ROG Phone 5 but I don't know how to code C++.
We already have vendor and kernel from official website but we don't have a device tree (we have but for TWRP not Android).
So I was wondering if someone would help me porting a rom for this phone.
Thanks by advance
@Alex2008Ex
I've changed the prefix of your thread from "Development" to "Question" as the thread didn't qualify for the first one. Please review the sticked guidance prior to your next posting and don't change the prefix back. Thanks for your cooperation.

As an alternative/interim solution, if your goal with Lineage is to get get Google off from your device, the stock ROG 5 rom can be signature spoofed to run MicroG and optimized/debloated for an ultra lean setup for max performance & battery life. The stock rom also has a number of device specific features that you'd probably want to keep..

Try Elite rom, install it
Root it as per instructions , then install script:
{Mod edit: Link to website of banned account removed. Oswald Boelcke, Senior Moderator} to make RW xiaomi EROFS partition, then you can debloat everything. Works for me.
