You might be wondering what the difference is between this version of DotOS and the other one available is, and the answer is quite simple: this one is built using the official LineageOS trees, and brings a couple extra features:
FBE (encryption for the /data partition) - this means NO SUPPORT FOR TWRP - ONLY LINEAGE RECOVERY IS SUPPORTED!
Working bluetooth calls
OTA
Built in patched camera libs (libexynoscamera3.so) for RAW support in GCam (I recommend BSG GCam)
Signature spoofing (microG support)
Known issues:
5G connectivity (for d2x/beyondx) (? needs testing)
VoLTE/VoWiFi - not working for most Samsung devices, so no fix in the near future

The same instructions as for installing official LineageOS apply, so the ones found here.
If you want to update your firmware, use the guide provided by Linux4 here (click on your device, then firmware update).
As I said before, due to encryption being enabled, you CAN NOT INSTALL this ROM using TWRP.
You need to use the OFFICIAL Lineage recovery (link in downloads section)
Simple instructions for installing recovery (if you already unlocked your bootloader):Odin:
Rename the downloaded .img to recovery.img and add it to a .tar archive using, for example, 7Zip
Flash the resulting .tar file in Odin
Heimdall:
(Windows): Shift+Right click in the folder where you downloaded the img, then click Open PowerShell/cmd window here.
Run heimdall flash --RECOVERY <name_of_recovery>.img
(Linux/Mac): open a terminal, navigate to the downloaded image, and run the same command.
After installing lineage recovery, all you need to do is factory reset, flash the ROM, GApps and Lygisk/Magisk (if you need them of course - either via ADB sideload, or off of an external SD card, or off of a USB stick attached through USB OTG)
For root I recommend using Lygisk Canary (link in downloads section) instead of Magisk, as Lygisk fixes addon.d for devices/ROMs using FBE (like this one), so OTA update works as intended.
Update instructions:Use OTA or just flash the update in recovery.
All releases can be found in here, just look for the latest one coresponding to your device.

Root/Magisk: Lygisk, (use canary), or, if you don't care about OTA, you could just use Magisk

Works like a charm
Very nice rom with a good mix of UI tweaks and theming options. The only issue I have is that my USB-C headphone adapter(s) stopped working, so I can't use my headphones. I have been having some more problems with my adapters previously, so it is probably hardware? Anyone else having this issue?

I am also facing the same issue as you are and not only with type c adapter i face this issue even with my tws earphones dev should fix this issue in next update.
I have installed the unofficial version. What the different with the unoff version? Any fix something?

Thank you soo much for clearing that up. I was super confused as to whether the dual or triple camera model was the RMX2020, and I couldn't find much info regarding it online. I'm looking into purchasing a 3/32 model, once I get it I'll try the ROM. Quick question tho.. is the ROM stable? Like are there any known bugs in it, and if so, could you mention them?

As far as I know volte doesn't work for most custom roms as theyre mostly based on lineage, and volte support hasn't been figured out for that yet.

With most ROMs, it's recommended to flash GApps first, and then flash Magisk to avoid bootloops or other bugs. Some people also recommend clearing Dalvik between installations/flashes.

I installed using recovery mode of the other rom I was using (Pixel Experience), then just flashed the TWRP just to install Magisk.

My complain is the audio quality when using wired or bluetooth earphone/headphone is so bad compared to the stock one.
Also a small bug when enabling day to Status bar clock. If you enable it then lock the phone and turn on again the date in notification drawer (when you pull the status bar) will be gone. Only showing day and time without date.

This rom is labeled "Stable". If you have to change the kernel so it doesn't reboot randomly, then it is not stable.

there is so many bugs please fix them.when i turn on my note 6 pro and start tapping most of the time it freezed.totally hang.nothing works.than it needs a force reboot.now notification not showing in the status bar.control panel is not expending.fix this problems please
