realme dialer works in RUI 2 too, but as a 3rd party application, just like truecaller and other 3rd party dialers.

Does anyone have any information about flashing the ROM on the NEO 2? I am wanting to remove the Chinese ROM as it won't allow me to use android Auto or google messages App.
If you can provide help with information about unlocking the bootloader that would be appreciated.
Regards,
M

Is it so difficult to unlock bootloader of Realme phones for European/USA/Global users? I'm planning to buy a realme phone and I am really interested in what the GT2 Pro coud be... but Rooting is essential to me, i Don't want to install different rom, just unlock the bootloader and install Magisk. But it seems Realme phones are not the right choice for this........

As of now, there is no update on it for global users.
Also, does realme sell in the U.S?

Question My gt neo 2 does not support Widevine L1. Why? How to fix?

my gt neo 2 is in Indian RUI 2.0/Android 11 ROM. But it doesn't support Widevine L1. The smartphone is only in Widevine L3. I already updated to Global ROM RUI 3.0 but it didn't work. I've also tried it on Indian ROM RUI 3.0 and it didn't work either. Lastly, I downgraded to Indian ROM/ RUI 2.0 android 11 and still L3 . I already contacted Realme support but they didn't respond. It cannot be. My phone is originally a chinese rom with no google whatsoever. I change my rom after getting the widevine key and it still work fine even after changing to another region back and forth for testing. You should ask directly to get the widevine apk with your imei. There is no need to tell them your device's region.

yes 11. i forgot which version. But you really don't need to worry about the version of the android or the region. what matters is the apps with your imei written in it. That's how they registered your devices with different level of widevine regardless the rom you have.

If 4G/Lte remains active when making calls.
If it switches to 3/2g on a call then Volte will not work.

The problem is not with the phone but with the operators.
@NOSS8 Thanks for you reply,
Volte active on one of my sim cards before upgrading from 12.5.4 to 13.0.1 ! I checked with operator and test in another phone and everything is right by sim cards , but not by phone .
In images that you can see that there is no option for volte to active anymore . I did *#*#86583#*#* and disabled shown to me but no luck .

Either you use Mi Flash (recommended) or a recovery rom with TWRP in both cases you will have to use Fastboot mode and unlock the bootloader before.

EDIT:
Mi unlock and Miflash will delete your data.

I installed it. Seems fine so far. Nice that OnePlus is rolling it out so quickly. I bet they are wanting to put the dumpster fire that was OOS12 behind them ASAP.

There is no dual SIM bug when using the official global firmware on an LE2115. T-Mobile devices will probably still have it.
Can root/magisk still be used for the OOS Dual Sim patch for T-Mobile devices?

oh nice!
Only 2 more questions
1. I am currently using the latest global rom 13.0.13.0(SLIEUXM), if i want to install the .eu rom, does that mean i need to downgrade? Because i cant see on .eu site how recent is that rom.
2.I have seen that for a lot of phones the ROM base is china, but for 12 lite its global. Does that change anything?

You can use the update.bat file included in the extracted fastboot.zip folder since the Xiaomi Eu rom is newer than your stock rom.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/xi...files/xiaomi.eu/MIUI-STABLE-RELEASES/MIUIv13/
xiaomi.eu_multi_TAOYAO_V13.0.5.0.SLIMIXM_v13-12-fastboot.zip
This phone is sold only for the global market, so Global.

Yep,that's it, you seem to have understood.
But it is better to perform a clean flash.

Since the time that I use these roms, never had this problem, nor seen reports on this subject, it can happen with a rom error or with AOSP/GSI roms, but mostly with human error.
