Question Cannot boot to download mode nor recovery - Android 11 XEO - Samsung Galaxy M12

Precisely saying:
1. I may boot to download mode when cable is connected but didn't succeed to do it without despite several tries.
2. I may boot to recovery using ADB command line but it is not a solution.
I highly probably will need recovery when phone will be in troubles then it will not be manageable with ADB at that particular moment.
Again, any comments/advice are welcome.
Thank you in advance.

in the telegram there are also people with the same problem , but in this case in relation to the galaxy a21s

How about Wi-Fi connection to 5 Ghz?
There is other thread about it:
Anyone able to connect to 5ghz wifi?
If so what band is your router set to? Thanks!
forum.xda-developers.com
But like this one - just question.
While Samsung could block special actions with purpose 5Ghz Wi-Fi should work.
It is not old model.
And I've read in rooting thread that A21(s) is very similar to M12 concerning software.

I didn't quite understand your question, but if I'm not mistaken both Galaxy m12 and Galaxy A21S do not support 5G wi-fi...

Well.
That fact I missed.
Pity anyway.

Yes. It was explained to me while ago.
Do we have a habit to ask for closing thread?

Samsung M12?
Try to boot through adb or edl

battery isn't charging, USB doesn't work

hello guys,
i have 2 Problems with my galaxy R.
My mobilephone doesn't load the battery when i plug in the charger. If i shut down the phone and connect the charger, the phone goes on and the empty battery symbol is drawn an the screen and the refresh logo of the battery is shown. But after 1-2 second's the screen is black and the phone turn off, this repeats the whole time.
When i turn on the phone, it starts without problems, when i plug in the charger it does nothing. I tryed to plug in the charger during the night, and the pho73ne loadet from 59% to 73%.
I have the Galaxy R with 3 Branding (Firmware, which was installed, when i get my galaxy R), but i have rooted the phone and have clockworkMod 4.xxx.
Now, i wanted to flash the firmware again (for warranty, to delete root and clockworkmod), but i cannot connect my phone to the pc. When i plug in the usc cable, my notebook don't recognize my phone and the phone does nothing.
My question now is, how can i remove root and clockworkmod, so that i can give the phone to the shop for warranty?
I hope you have ideas for me, and sorry for my bad english, i'm from Austria
now i made a video...

Thank you too :good: your are a great help for me , but are this files the right ones for the XWLA4 Firmware (2.3.6, 3 Austria) ?
these files will work with all the ROMs
Sent from my GT-I9103 using XDA
Hey buddy! This is what exactly happened with me! This is a physical damage. So there's nothing you can do by flashing other ROMs or stock ROMs or so....
Check out my thread here:-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1663812
I've explained everything about my case and how I was able to revert back to my country's stock ROM, unroot the phone and revert back to stock recovery.
Then I gave my phone for repair to SSC and they told me that it's a physical damage. They changed the whole charging port of my phone. Took 3-4 days though. Depends on availability of that part.
And since my phone was in warranty and SSC guys are dumb, I got it done for FREE!!

Hi buddy, I appreciate that you haven't started a new thread. Could you tell me which language you know ? I am asking because then I could understand your issue clearly.
If you would have searched a bit you would have surely got the answer in the FAQ's post (in the newbie guide thread), check this out:
Q. My device is not being detected on being connected to my PC but I can charge it via the wall / normal charger ! What to do?
First of all check if you have the latest Samsung Kies software installed as it also installs the latest Samsung USB drivers along with it which are required to connect your device to the PC. If they are installed & still your PC doesn't detect the device then you probably have corrupted drivers. To resolve this follow these steps: Uninstall Samsung Kies / Samsung USB drivers currently installed => Restart your PC => Reinstall Samsung Kies / Samsung USB drivers.
Q. I can't charge my device & my device is not being detected after connecting to my PC & Odin is not detecting my device ! What to do?
(The solution is valid only if you are experiencing all of the above conditions simultaneously)
Checkout this thread which could help you: => [Partial Fix] Galaxy R not getting detected on PC nor charging via a charger.
Hope this helps.

Problem with Panasonic Eluga Switch software and Download Mode

Hello, i have an Alcatel Idol 3 5,5 (6045) and i decided to root it, so installed all that i needed (drivers, adb ..). But the problem is that i need to unlock the OEM thing, so i need to flash my smartphone to its original stock ROM, so i downloaded the Panasonic Eluga Switch one (which is a rebranded idol 3) and launched it, but the problem it seem that my device CAN'T load in download mode, i tried anything :
Uninstalling/Reinstalling all drivers
Executing the software as administrator
Executing the software with Windows XP compatibility mode
The volume + and - and USB method
The ADB method, it worked for anything else (rebooting in fastboot and recovery mode) but it won't work for the download one, it just reboot normally, i don't know why all is exactly correct, i tested with MTP and PTP usb modes, and in two differents windows, and nothing worked at all.
Please, is someone have the solution to boot my stupid idol 3 on download mode i would be grateful to him. Cordially.

The screen remains black in download mode, aftsr you get the red screen(volume up/down and power) then volume up screen will go black and remain black, that is normal behavior...

I switched boot slots using fastboot and now I can't access my phone via adb or fastboot

I was having some issues with installing a factory update on my Pixel 2, and tried using fastboot to switch the boot slot to slot B. Now I'm unable to access the phone via USB cable because adb does not see my device. The phone isn't even recognised in Device Manager anymore and nothing I do seems to fix that, including different cables and different PCs.
In bootloader mode, I can see:
Boot-slot: b
Console: DISABLED
Secure Boot: yes (PRODUCTION)
Device State: unlocked
ERROR: Slot Unbootable: Load Error
Any help would be appreciated. If I could just get Device Manager or adb to see my phone again, that would be a fix.

Hook your device up to your PC and open adb/fastboot whilst in bootloader screen and then hold down the power button until the phone vibrates and check if your pc has recognised it. It may well take many attempts but I revived mine from a similar scenario doing the above. If you search the forum for slot unbootable you will find a thread for exactly this issue also.
Good luck

Thanks for the advice - I managed to fix the problem in just this way, although I needed to do it on a friend's machine that was running Linux. Windows was hopeless. I was quite sure at that moment that I was going to need a new phone.

LEO-BX9 No USB Debug option ... Help?

#1- I have the LEO-BX9 and can not get it to connect to a computer via USB regardless what I try. The computer does not even acknowledge anything is connected when I plug in the charger with the watch. I have tested the charging cable and every connection is working fine (no broken wire or issues detected). I've tried on multiple computers with multiple OS and nothing.
#2- There is no option in Developer Options for "Debug by usb" it only has Debug by wifi or bluetooth.
I have been able to connect adb via wifi, and can send commands, but when i reboot into bootloader, it obviously loses wifi connectivity and I cant send any fastboot commands, and can not communicate at all with the watch. As such, I can not unlock or do anything.
I appreciate any help you can offer and thank you in advance for your awesomenes!
I guess my ultimate question is, How do I get a custom ROM on this watch without being able to connect while in stock bootload? Can I push a file over with ADB and use it somehow to install the custom ROM as a fake update or recovery. Can i unlock somehow. Anything? I beg help from you oh wise and kind xda'ers

Very hard brick OnePlus 8t

I unbricked my OP8t following this guide and decided that just a working phone is not enough for me (yes i so... stubborn)
I flash rom via twrp and got errors: "can't find system_root partition" and "can't find vendor partition".
i flash new twrp via sideload and reboot phone(DON'T DO IT!)
Now my pc can't see phone, but phone can charging.
I don't think anyone can help me... but it's worth a try

I use cable from OP nord 2, usb 2.0 port
I dont know, but it was charging for about ten hours on original 65wt charge
I've found that at times getting MSM to work can be difficult. But I've always been able to, somehow, get it working.
There have also been occasions when I've had to reinstall the Qualcomm driver.
I don't have any specific suggestions for your, but I just wanted to share the notes I've made/collected regarding the tool (attached). They might give you some ideas of things to try.
Note: my PC is running Windows 11 and I'm using the original OP cable.
