Question Native call recording not visible in menu of Android 11 XEO - Samsung Galaxy M12

Not rooted at this moment yet.
I followed advice found on Internet suggesting reconfiguration after changing setting in a way to have system applications visible but so far without success.
Question is if problem is related to XEO version or something else?
Anyone with this ROM and working native call recording?
BTW:
I installed True Phone dialer and it records calls.

How to enable two-way recording

Hello guys, new here
I do understand two-way recording is disabled in the factory setting.
Some apps offer two-way recording if I have my phone rooted.
The problem is some of my essential apps won't allow my phone rooted for security reasons.
The question is : is it possible to do this procedure?
1. Root
2. "enable" two way recording
3. Unroot
4. Now I can record my calls with any apps.
* Call recording is legal in my country, (South Korea) as long as I'm in the party. I'm a consultant, so I want to record calls to see if I've been doing the conversation in the right way. For good reasons! thank you in advance.
No such thing. You need this app. This records both sides from the phoenline. Its the only one that truly does .I use it.

Which phone supports call recording and in which region?

Hello All,
I am new to this space. Unfortunately, after being forced to update to Android 9, I lost my call recording feature. I absolutely need this feature because I travel all the time. Rooting is not an option for me because I would lose the warranty. Plus, I have accidentally bricked a phone in the past. I saw that people have reported that call recording works in Android 9 in some countries.
I am curious about two things:
1) Do we know which phone models and region will support call recording?
2) Given that we know that XYZ model with Android 9.0 supports call recording, if I buy a phone from another country and use it in the US, will call recording work? Any idea?
I thought of asking everyone on this forum before making an investment in two things a) a $1K phone b) a recorder app. I have tried other options such mic-based call recording etc., but they are not as good as an app doing the call recording.
I am really pissed off with Google for banning this feature.
Regards

How to record calls?

Hi there.
I got a Note 10 Lite SM-N770F running Android 10, PDA N770FXXU2BTD4, CSC N770FTIM2BTD4 (Italy, TIM).
Well, built-in call recorder is disabled.
Any apps I've been trying records only my voice, no inbound sound.
Any suggestions to record calls with no root access?
Regards
Up.
Try True phone app from Play store . There is that option

You can change your phone's CSC with this method. Doesn't requre root. But depending your phones original CSC, target CSC option is limited. (in my case I can change PEH only with SEK)

Question Any workaround for recording calls on this phone with Android 12?

I wonder if anyone here uses Phone app by Google and has the recording option.
FYI: https://www.androidauthority.com/google-killing-call-recording-apps-3155610/
There is a good thread on the topic of call recording for this phone over here that might be a place to add more info about the Phone app by Google.
Anyone know a working call recorder app for this phone?
EDIT: Also this thread:
Is there any way to get 3rd-party call recording (ACR) apps working after tomorrow, May 11th, 2022?

Question OP9+Google Fi+intermittent outgoing call issue

I have an unlocked originally-T-mobile OP9, with Android 11, and I have an issue with Google Fi that I couldn't find online references to.
Every so often, I can't make calls: the dialer starts to dial and then stops within a fraction of a second. A reboot always solves the problem, but then the problem comes back eventually. Data works fine.
Update: I can't receive calls in this state either.
I tried using the beta Google Phone dialer, and maybe even some third-party dialer, and the issue is the same.
killing the com.android.server.telecom:ui task solved the problem without a reboot, and now I have a Tasker shortcut to do that on my home page, but that's not really a viable solution given that incoming calls don't work when the issue happens.
Does someone maybe have a version of Telecom.apk from a different firmware that I could try?
A bit more experimentation: When the phone is in the bad no incoming/outgoing calls state, if I turn off mobile data, or switch it to 2G, everything works again. Then when I switch back to 5G, calls don't work (but data works). Is it a VoLTE issue?
Bump... Am I really the only person on XDA using a TMO OnePlus 9 on Google Fi? Is anybody using an international OnePlus 9 at least? I might want to change to international firmware then.
Well, I think I've solved it by installing international firmware. My guess is that the problem had to do with VoLTE support in the T-Mobile firmware.
