Question How to Re-install All Packages Using ADB - iQOO 7

Hi Community, Recently I uninstalled some packages from my IQ007 using Adb shell.
Now I am facing some weird issues, so I want to reinstall all the deleted package files, but problem is I don't remember which packages I deleted.
Is their any Adb command or any way to reinstall all default packages of IQ007 with hard reset.

"cmd package install-existing" use that command it'll reinstall

I aware about that command but I am not aware which package I have deleted. So, What can be done to get all the packages installed?

Well, thanks niraj I will surely look into it.

Last Resort : Factory Reset your phone and it'd bring back everything.
If you can give a list of apps that are crashing, may be I can help since I have maintained a list of almost apps removable along with their uses.

Bit of a necro but I am having difficulty recieving text messages. I can send them, but I cannot recieve them. Are you able to take a look at the below list of removed packages and tell me which one might have sonething to do with text messaging?

Try enabling
Com.sprint.ms.cdm
And
com.sprint.ms.smf.services
Looks like these 2 packages could be causing that.
It's only a hunch but you may give it a try.

Just don't let it force itself on the phone
If you want to disable OTA updates, you can remount your system folder, and delete /system/app/Updater.apk and /system/app/Updater.odex
I've done that on my own phone with no negative effects (so far). I'm fairly sure that should disable any OTA updates from being installed.
Once it does come out, I plan on downloading it (onto my computer), and giving it a good going over. I'll yank out anything that looks like it will disable my root access, and then resign it with the test keys and load it onto the phone using a modified recovery tool.

Ditto my good man.
We don't have to reject it per se any OTA "official" update. We just have to modify it and load it. It will have benefits to update, just not completly to Google's standards
can some one please help..

Details? I was under the impression the retail bootloader wouldn't accept any keys except tmob/google's.
With root though its no biggie to just install the update manually.
well who ever does accept this update please make not of the url it's calling so those of us that aren't can manually grab it. assuming this will still be an option

It sounds like the current state of affairs is not safe. Everything typed on the phone is also submitted to a root shell. It is just a matter of time before I inadvertently type something that damages the filesystem.

That won't help, as it's respawned by init when it dies. Maybe kill -STOP 26 would work, but I haven't verified that.

Nope
Tried kill -STOP from adb shell, then "<cr>sleep 90<cr>" and ps showed 'sleep' running. (Sure, I could use 'reboot' but thats just a pita.)

Google Search by Voice v1.4.1 install fails

Searched the forum and wiki and can't find anything on this.
Trying hard not be a 'compleet newb'....
Problem: I've tried to download and install the latest update (v1.4.1) to Google Search by Voice. It fails saying it is not correctly signed. I am not able to uninstall it via the Market software. The existing version is present and still works.
I was thinking of manually uninstalling it and then attempting a re-install from the market. Has anyone had any success getting this update to install on CM 4.2.7.1?
I'm running Cyanogen 4.2.7.1 on my HTC Magic 32B, applied over the flashed and clean-installed 1.6 rooted base - no CM Updater. (Seems to give a better, more stable result - may affect the behaviour of the update).
this stupid error happens because of the test keys or the userdebug keys thay cyanogenmod uses. I would download it somewhere online and use adb to replace the old one wiht the new one. It should work.
Yes I have the same problem with same model phone etc. etc.
I understand the workaround will be the same as Google maps 3.2.1 update but I cannot find up to date "Google search by voice" apk. I was wondering if anyone knows a source that mirrors up to date apps, or could even link a tut about how to get apk's copied out of the phones /tmp folder?
Thanks
I'll check out the package name in the Applications settings and see if I can find it anywhere or somehow capture it. Later....won't have any time until this evening.

That's great I didn't think of that, ill whip out those quotation marks and asterisks for google too. Also later...... 00:20 is not the right time for this....... so tempted......!!!
I fixed the maps.apk problem by going into adb and uninstalling maps.apk and then removing all traces of it. Then I went to marketplace and i downloaded it as normal and it now works perfectly.
Try that with voice search
Do we know what the package name is? Usually something like "com.google.android.apps.xxx" Could try uninstalling through adb. Then re-download from the market?
hello, could u plz share the installer? its not available on the marketplace in my country.
thanks very much
success
Ok, I managed to get Google Search by Voice updated to 1.4.1. I'm no pro and it took ages but it works.
Could a mod advise whether I am allowed to post a link to the apk?
I would be happy to post the steps i took but its not something i have done before and worse still, i used cmd not putty (noob error #1!). So the commands and the order i used them in are lost.
Should have used ubuntu..............
the concept consisted of updating the app and simultaneously using this command while it was downloading
Code:
cp /cache/downloadfile-9.apk /sdcard/download
"9" is only because it is the 9th apk i have downloaded and once the install fails the OS deletes the apk.
(for anyone else it would be different. go into /cache and type ls at the prompt to see what your next number will be)
then rename downloadfile-*.apk to VoiceSearch.apk, remove the original in the phone using adb and replace with the updated app.
I will post again tomorrow with clearer instructions but would much rather post a link to the apk I got, if it is permitted
hmmm. doing an 'adb shell rm /system/app/VoiceSearch.apk' and reinstalling from the market still gives you the unsigned error?

yes it will still give an unsigned error.
that is why you need to copy the apk which android market downloads to /cache before it deletes it, i copied it to /sdcard/download. then install via adb afterwards.
you have to manual install the apk to avoid unsigned error, once you have done this any future updates through market will be fine. Maps updated fine to 3.3 after i manually installed 3.2.1
How?

I downloaded the VoiceSearch.apk file and adb pushed it into /system/app on my phone and it works perfectly. The market sees it as installed and valid.
But I inspected my "normal" load phone (which has voice search) and nowhere could i see anything resembling "VoiceSearch.apk".

[Guide][WindowsAndroid] Install Gapps on WindowsAndroid

Download the program from: WindowsAndroid
Run as administrator and install the program.
Install Gapps:
1. Download gapps for ICS HERE.
2. Unzip the gapps.
3. Find the system folder that was unzipped, then go into the apps folder. Copy all of the apks
4. Go to C:\SocketeQ\windowsandroid_root\system\apps
5. Paste all of the apks in that directory.
6. Restart Windowsandroid
7. Enjoy gapps.
Note: You will now be able to add a Google account and get into Google Play but there is not really anything in the Play Store at this time.
Note #2: There have been reports that, this may not work on AMD processors. Intel seem to work just fine.
Very cool. Like you say, little you can do with it so far and very regular crashes even just using Play Store and built-in apps, but definitely one to keep an eye on.
The emulator won't even start.
I get an error in the cmd window that app_process(4776) terminated abnormally.
I got some screenshots if it helps.

Are you running it as an administrator? If so try removing the program from Add or Remove programs. Then going to your C: drive and delete the file SocketeQ. Re install the program, once it is installed open WindowsAndroid first. Then close it and install the Gapps after running it one time. See if that helps anything.

As of right now you just have to try and see what you can get to work. This is a very early release and so there are a lot of things that need fixed. I just want to let people know that this is out there and that its something to look out for.

Question I can receive text messages, I cannot send them

**SOLVED - I restared the phone and everything works as it should. Follow trouble shooting lesson #1 - Unplug and plug it back in**
I'm looking for help to troubleshoot my text messaging after using ADB to uninstall some packages.
The phone is a Oneplus 9 from Tmobile, and I have a verizon account/SIM card. My original intention was to completely delete the bloatware / unused applications from my phone but the script I was running (Tomatot's script) is not updated for Android 11 and I ended up abandoning that route and instead just used the ADB commands to uninstall. As such, I did unlock the bootloader, installed TWRP, and used TWRP to run a version of the Tomatot script. I noted nothing changed, and did not try to revert or undo the Tomatot script.
I then went to ADB commands and uninstalled the below list of packages:
package:com.oneplus.calculatorpackage:com.android.cts.priv.ctsshimpackage:com.oneplus.gamespacepackage:com.sprint.ecidpackage:com.google.android.cellbroadcastservicepackage:com.sprint.w.installerpackage:cn.oneplus.photospackage:com.tmobile.m1package:com.qualcomm.uimremoteclientpackage:com.oneplus.brickmodepackage:com.netflix.partner.activationpackage:com.tmobile.pr.mytmobilepackage:com.oneplus.factorymode.specialtestpackage:com.google.ar.corepackage:com.oneplus.android.cellbroadcast.overlaypackage:com.google.android.marvin.talkbackpackage:com.oneplus.factorymodepackage:com.android.eggpackage:com.google.android.apps.tachyonpackage:com.sprint.ms.cdmpackage:net.oneplus.pushpackage:com.android.dreams.basicpackage:com.google.android.apps.wellbeingpackage:com.tmobile.pr.adaptpackage:com.android.bipspackage:com.android.cellbroadcastreceiverpackage:cn.oneplus.oemtcmapackage:com.oneplus.filemanagerpackage:com.google.android.ttspackage:com.sprint.ce.updaterpackage:com.google.android.videospackage:com.oneplus.faceunlockpackage:com.google.android.feedbackpackage:com.oneplus.opbugreportlitepackage:com.tmobile.rsuadapter.qualcommpackage:com.oneplus.screenrecordpackage:com.android.providers.partnerbookmarkspackage:com.android.wallpaper.livepickerpackage:com.oneplus.bttestmodepackage:net.oneplus.commonlogtoolpackage:com.android.bookmarkproviderpackage:com.android.cts.ctsshimpackage:com.android.wallpaperbackuppackage:com.sprint.ms.smf.servicespackage:com.google.android.apps.youtube.musicpackage:com.android.traceurpackage:com.google.android.cellbroadcastreceiverpackage:com.tmobile.rsuapppackage:com.tmobile.rsusrvpackage:com.android.cellbroadcastreceiver.overlay.common
Can anyone here take a look at my uninstalled packages and easily tell which one is related to text messaging? I would hope to easily find the one or two from this list instead of re-enabling each one and see if texting is restored.
At this point my options are - start enabling packages via ADB commands to see if texting is fixed, or factory reset -> verify texting and other functionality works -> use ADB to uninstall packages and test texting/other functions after each package.
Thanks for any help in advance!
(I did find a thread about using Magisk Debloater to remove bloat and will look into that method since the Tomatot script with TWRP did not work for me. First I need to fix texting or my wife will kill me)

You def removed brickmode and unsure if you can still connect through edl to msm tool. Btw this would be your only option is to restore everything with msm tool for your variant. Or fastboot flash whatever build your on back to device.

Thank you for the response. Brickmode, as far as I can tell from internet searching, is related to Oneplus's 'Zen Mode' which I do not need or want. If I am mistaken please point me to a discussion about this particular package so I can reinstall it if its required for recovering from bricking a phone. I think its a deceptively named package.
I started re-enabling the packages above and after a phone restart all my texts came back. I then un-installed the packages one by one and none of them affect texting. Soooo I think it was the phone restart that fixed it. As always, turn it off and back on first to see if that fixes the problem.

[HELP] Internal Storage not accessible

Hi,
Since a few days I'm unable to see any data in my phone via gallery or file manager or any application, and I'm unable to save any data to internal storage. (example: I'm able to use whatsapp for texting, but I can't receive/send any audio/picture and I can't access the old ones).
And I keep getting this error message:"com.android.providers.media.MediaApplication keeps stopping."
I don't know if that's what causing it or if that's just a consequence of not being able to access internal storage.
I can still see all the used storage from settings though.
Phone has unlocked bootloader, but no root/custom rom/recovery.
I saw other Oneplus users started getting the same error these days... (I have a Oneplus 6, but others have different models like Oneplus Nord).
Someone resolved by wiping system and they were able to retrieve storage content and functionality, but they lost apps data, I'm trying to find another way since I have an unlocked bootloader.
A user on stackoverflow suggested I should clean the com.android.providers.media.MediaApplication app data to regenerate the database, but I couldn't figure out how to do it
I tried cleaning media and media.module packages (not media.MediaApplication) from adb but no luck even if successful.
I tried removing "com.android.providers.media" (not media.MediaApplication, I couldn't find that one) folder from data/data with twrp file manager but no luck...
Is there a way to specifically clean "com.android.providers.media.MediaApplication"?
If anyone has any other suggestion on things to try, post it here please.
Have you modified any system settings recently? Or might be just some unorganized drivers.
Conect pc and make bakup your stuff...
Then on settings make Factory Reset...

Not at all... I never did any modding, and I saw it happened to people that were completely stock as well

Maybe it's just a common error, you could search it up on youtube but I guess you will have to backup and reset your device

I already looked everywhere but there is not much about it other than other users that are having the same issue

I had the same problem, and this is how I solved it. But it's your own risk.

Sorry, I see your message only now... Do you remember when did you have this problem? And was it this exact message on a Oneplus 6?
I have the problem of not being able to save anything in the storage or having a broken zip, always after using msmtool 10.3.5, I saw it in a post here about this file and it solved.

This should be applicable to any ROM on devices which share internal storage for applications and the internal "sdcard" (Note II, SGS3, probably others). Symptoms may include inability to take screenshots and other failures, and will usually show...
