Phone won't turn on once it slips into sleep/standby mode [HTC Home Plugin running]

If my phone goes into sleep/standby mode after being left unattended it will not turn back on. The LED's still flash etc, only happens when I enable the HTC Home Plugin on the Today menu.
An obvious fix would be to remove the plugin, but I really would like to keep it if possible.
Any ideas?

[Q] phone will not turn on, rom is cyanogen mod 10.1.3

as the title said the phone will not turn on. i was using the phone in regular fashion on the gmail app, and i went to go change labels on an email, and as soon as i clicked the appropriate button, the phone shut off. i have since tried to place the phone in download and recovery mode and neither will work, all i get is a black screen, and a very faint vibration as if the phone is trying to boot up.
any ideas?
Try pulling the battery out, wait like 5 seconds, and put it back in.

Dock Mode Glitched

Since the update last week, whenever I plug in my phone it puts me in dock mode. I hate this and disabling in apps does not fix. It turns on WiFi, and takes me to random dock screen continuously even when I just manually exited. In the notification bar it says press to return to dock mode even though it is already in dock mode. Please help!!

Galaxy S6 in download mode with broken screen

Recently broke the screen on my s6 and went through the wringer trying to get it repaired. After a few days in and out of the shop the screen is still broken, and now I just want to get my music, photos, videos, etc off the phone so I can transfer them to a new one.
The problem: My pc is only recognizing that my phone is connected when it's in download mode, and smart switch / kies says the device is unsupported when connected this way. When I exit download mode, it isn't even detected. The screen is completely unresponsive- no picture or touch, no buttons lighting up at the bottom, no notification light blinking. Is there any way to recover my stuff? Thanks.
UPDATE: I've managed to get the phone out of download mode, and the notification light at the top has turned on. It's just gradually fading back and forth from blue to light blue- I'm thinking this is a bootloop? It's still not being detected by my PC, and I still can't see or touch anything on the screen.

Cannot boot in download or recover mode. Stuck on grey battery.

I have an S6 that's not rooted. It is model SM-G920R4 from US cellular. It just downloaded and installed a new android version on it's own. I don't know what the new version was going to be. When I checked to see if it was done the screen was off and unresponsive. I tried doing a reset but it didn't work so I plugged it into an outlet and the grey battery with a bolt comes on but no green like its not charging. It still would not turn on so I left it for an hour but still no change. I booted into download mode but not having a file to run I just chose the restart option which took me right back to battery screen. I cannot get into recovery mode at all as it just stays on the battery screen. These are all the options I know to try. Not being able to get into recovery mode makes me think I'm out of options. If anybody could let me know if there's anything else I can do I would appreciate it.
I just tried to get into download mode again and it will not go into that screen. After a couple secs the battery disappears like its going to go into the download screen but it never does. If I let go of the buttons it goes back to the battery.
Not certain but try to let your phone discharge. Even on the battery screen it is bound to run out.
Other things you can try is to plug it into wall outlet and hold ~30 seconds the power button and see if it power offs and then start the device again without charger on it.
I dunno how it's done in the US but if you still have warranty bring it back and check if they can fix it.
If their is a TWRP for your version I suggest you download it and attempt to get into download mode to flash it and then try to get into recovery mode. Otherwise download official firmware and flash that through odin and download mode.
