Everyone have their own personal preference but there are certain musts have for every phone
Screen protectors, skins or cases according to your preference, there is also body protector if you wanna rock the no case look, I prefer Gadgetshieldz
Good pair of Headphones will get you through over anything, choose something that is easy to carry around. I use one plus buds pro.
Power bank if you are a heavy user.
Bike/ car mount it will be very useful
If you take a lot of pics could use a selfie stick & camera lens

There doesn't seem to be a normal TPU Case for the Pixel C

For most phones and tablets it's pretty easy to find decent cases, iPhone and iPad Users are spoilt for choice, Samsung useres can also pick and choose how they like, even for the Nexus 5X and 6P one can find an abundance of cases in any color shape or form. But not for the Pixel C - doubtless this is because of the slender market for this tablet. I have been looking all over the net for a simple TPU case for the Pixel C, you know the type of silicone case that just covers the back of the device but not the screen. All I could find was universal folio cases or smart cases with a lid. I even tried my luck on searching Chinese wholesale but no luck. If anyone has come across a simple back cover only TPU or hard shell case that only covers the back please let me know.
Thanks so much.

I also want a TPU case and haven't found anything anywhere - ebay, amazon, vendor sites
This is exactly what I'm looking for as well. All I can find are folios. :/

yep. this. i want the rubber bumper case type cover because the back of the device is so slick that it tends to want to slide off my lap. also, it would be nice to have something to soften the bezel edge because it can dig into your hands if you're holding it for a long time.
Totally agree. There seems to be a Chinese design for a bumper case, however it doesn't seem possible to order it at the moment. Anyone else had any luck finding one ?

Came across this guy that might fit the bill:

No reviews and takes forever to ship. If it were cheaper I'd definitely take the jump, but I'm a bit skeptical...

I already contacted them, the description is wrong. They sell "normal" pu leather folios, some are bundled with headphones or screen protectors. They removed the product i mentioned in my request but all other bundles are still listed with the wrong description.
what a freakin' tease. i would have loved to have had that clear tpu case.
All products mentioned are found on US Amazon.com
So far the only TPU case I have seen that's for Pixel C <--- does NOT fit Pixel C as customer lefted a photo review on the product he received.

I do not have it in my possession to test the fitment yet, just wanna get the words out with others that's looking for one.
(granted the demo photos doesn't show pixel C in it, but some other products. Just hope these China vendors get the fitment right.)
Other interesting alternatives I have seen so far is the full body coverage skin

Personally I'm currently using Moko's folio cover as the additional thickness it added is still deem acceptable to me and does the job.

Hey there, the skinomi skins work just fine. A bit of a pain to apply but not too bad, just watch their intructional Video. But this is just a Skin and no case, so no drop protection really.

That's exactly my concern also. At most it'll just prevent scratches on the original metal body, wouldn't prevent / provide enough protection from possible little bumps / drops during daily uses.

Exactly, a Skin is not enough, a Folio Case will protect the Pixel C allround but I really dislike the front Display flap. Very annoying. I opted for buying the skinomi techskin combined with this http://www.amazon.com/Booncover-Uni...=UTF8&qid=1463390156&sr=8-2&keywords=Reboon+l
This is expensive though. Would have much prefered a simple bumper case. Grrr.
Negative on the potential TPU case I shared the other day.
A customer that got the product, left a photo review saying it aren't the right fitment.........

This is frustrated, I can't find no bumper case for this device.
i thought about trying to find a similar shaped tablet and using a tpu case for it and i would just make my own camera/speaker holes. not the prettiest solution but i think it would get the job done. the closest thing i could find to the pixels dimensions was the galaxy tab 10.1. so i'm thinking about picking up this case:

Let u s know how well it fits. Thank you and all the Best
I ordered a cheap chinese tpu case for a samsung galaxy tab 10.1 but it does not fit.
The corners of the Samsung device are rounder than the pixel c. Height and width are ok.
I had to remove the corners of the case, now the tablet fits, but the corners are needed to give the case stability and keep it around the tablet.
Without the corners the case slips down of the tablet easily. I hoped it would fit but without the stability it is useless for me...

Over 20+ NOTE 7 Cases Reviewed

Hey guys, so I went a little overboard and bought over 20 cases.
I also bought 5 different types of screen protectors.
Instead of trying to post over 20 photos I just put everything on video. I split it into two parts because there were too many cases.
Here's part one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYm9pe57Ej4
Here's part two https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlJ0E2BeOLY
Updated with part three https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAInEO0LgLs
Let me know if you have any questions about any of the cases.
Nice video! on your part 1, can you link me where you found the "Inovate" leather case with rhe grip on the back that comes with the screen protector and stylus? Couldn't find it anywhere
Good quick reviews there. You must have spent a fortune on these! Where did you order the Captron Dual Hybrid case in Part 1? The gunmetal colour one. That looks a good contender for what I like.
Haven't watched the videos as of yet, but is it possible to give a written recommendation of a few cases, and why you recommend them, possibly links to where they were purchased?
Like to see reviews on Note 7 cases with kickstands and standing mode cover.
I currently using the Galaxy Note 7 Black S View Standing Cover case. It was hard to find right now with the brick & mortar stores. The only brick & mortar store that I found this cover right now was "Best Buy". I like lots with the S View features and standing mode. The downside is that it hides some of the Note 7 design.

I can write something up...I actually got a few more cases in and plan to do a Part 3. This one might be my favorite, it's from a brand called Myriann.
Link is HERE Here's why I like it.
1. It's a dual hybrid case but it's as THIN as a standard TPU case. Usually these cases are a little thicker because of the tpu and plastic shell but this is extremely slim.
2. I noticed with the Note 7 cases, on the left and right sides, some cases go straight down. What I mean is, the cases should dip in a little bit to account for the curve in the screen. You'll notice with the Myriann case that the sides dip in to accomodate the sides. This isn't a huge deal but when you're holding it, it makes it feel slimmer due to this "cut" in the case.
3. The texture is excellent on the back and it looks very modern.
I could write up some more stuff about the different cases but it really depends on preferences and looks. Do you want more protection or are you focused on just having minimal protection? Do you want to show off the Note design or do you mind if it gets covered with carbon fiber or leather patterns? It really depends on the preference of the user.

Thank you so much! That's exactly why I want to order it lol. Do you by any chance know how to get all those cases at a discounted price? I always see those in reviews and I would really like to get a couple to review them myself I've tried a couple of those sites but none had Note 7 cases I could review

I may have to buy that case. Would that be your recommendation if I am looking for minimal protection? Want to show off the design of the Note 7. Really hate when cases cover up the design!
Thanks for your input, very valuable! I'm so used to otter box defender cases, but them things are so damn bulky... So I would like protection first but comfortably thin. If I can show off the phone kool but not necessary. If it had a kickstand I would be happy but it's not mandatory. Damn, I pretty much want every option in one case!

If you want minimal and to show off the phone then probably the Ringke AIR or any one of the clear generic cases I reviewed.
I would recommend the myriann because I like the carbon fiber texture on the back and it is very very SLIM for being that style of case. However, if you want to show off the Note as is, get a clear case.
BTW
GORILLA GLASS 5 IS WEAK! I only had the Note 7 for a couple days, been in a case this entire time and the back glass has a very faint scratch.
Also if you look at my other videos I put up a bunch of screen protectors. I probably spent over $100 on accessories and I can say the ZAGG/IQ Shield types suck if you want to use the Spen. I know many Note users who rarely use the pen so it won't matter but I use it daily and it just sticks and feels horrible on those screen protectors. I installed over 4 and took them all off and the tempered glass ones weren't any better because they didn't stick like they were supposed to.

Note 7 Accessories Help (culminated thread)

Dear XDA forum,
As per the rule I have decided to create a thread with all my questions (I will include a TLDR as well).
TLDR: Looking for BT headphone, smartwatch and screen protectors that work with spigen slim armor case.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Question 1: Looking for a Bluetooth headphone for primarily the note 7 but can be used for other devices?
So as the question states, I am looking into bt headphones preferably on ear. I currently use a AudioTechnica ATH MSR7 with my pc at home but its to heavy to carry outside. Most wired headphones stop working because of damaged cable at the gym as well. So I am looking for a bt headphone with good audio signature (something like the audio technica i have), is lightweight, good build quality, great battery (with wired 3.5mm support), has built in microphone and aren't to flashy and won't smell bad due to sweat and will stay on my head during weight training and cardio. I have looked at some, boss qc 35 are amazing and feel great but to expensive, sony H'ear are too flimsy and plastic for my taste and don't have clear low ends, beats solo 2 sounded good but they are beats so I don't know. I haven't found a store with the Jabra moves so I don't know. Any help will be appreciated!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Question 2: Looking to get a smart watch for my note 7?
So I am looking for a good smart watch to replace my sieko watch. Something with a clean look, scratch resistant, maybe even water/dust resistance, has fitness features, built in gps, allow me to control most of my apps, allow me to reply to text/email and make calls, etc. I am really loving the gear s3 frontier, should I wait for it?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Question 3: When my replacement comes should I use my clearplex warrenty to get another screen protector and back protection or get a new protector and skin to go along with my case?
So I currently have a black onyx note 7 (which I will replace with another onyx note 7). I have the spigen slim armor case that is gun metal black. I love it and will be using it. So I currently have a clearplex hd screen protector and I love its feel, clarity and sensitivity compatibility with my phone. It works well and I don't loose any screen sensitivity or clarity. I was thinking of getting this screen protector applied to my new note 7 (when it comes) and also cover my phone back and sides to protect it from scratches since its already shatter resistant (due to gorilla glass 5) and my tpu layer case. The issue is that in the case it causes the screen to peel a bit even after 24 hour cure time (picture of my screen protector at the moment "imgur.com/a/gEMCW") so I am conflicted. I think it maybe because the screen goes edge to edge (which in theory should help scratch protection) so to people who have cases like the spigen slim armor or have used protectors like clearplex, what should I do? Is it worth switching protectors? is it worth to get skins to protect the back of the phone?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Question 3: Should i invest in wireless charging and extra type-c cable and a battery bank or just stick to extra cables and battery bank?

Which original case to buy?

I wonder which original case from Oneplus will be the best for Oneplus 6?
I never had Oneplus phone and I don't know this cases.
Could You explain me difference between Bumber Case and Protective Case?
I think about carbon. I would like to choose case that will the best protector for my phone. This is the most important for me. I consider only original cases. I will buy original screen protector too.
From specification I see that Bumber Case is heavier 25g vs 11g. So I think that will be better
I've owned both the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 5. In my experience, the bumpers are no more then just fancy shells for the phone that don't exactly feel like the offer that much protection to the phone, and I ended up buying Tudia full body cases for both phones. If you want a OnePlus case though, go with the Silicone one - had that for my OP5 and I loved it honestly. However, I feel that OnePlus cases are more crafted for their style than they are for the protection they offer (which is quite depressing, as the Sandstone cases felt so nice to hold in your hand), so you might want to consider looking elsewhere for a case.
As for screen protectors, the tempered glass ones by OnePlus themselves are usually the best, but a lot of cases don't work with them (including the Otter Box case offered by OnePlus). Third party TGSPs are cheaper, but they aren't 3D and often let dust slip in underneath. I ended up slapping a OnePlus TGSP onto my OP3 and then adding a Tudia full body case with a built in screen protector, and that thing survived so much abuse (and is still kicking actually).
I actually had the Carbon case with a OP tempered glass screen protector on my OP5, and the case did nothing to absorb the impact from a fall at work and shattered the glass. The case was nothing more than a hard plastic shell honestly.
But that's just my two cents
I'm gonna wait for third parties first. Till then a poach is the way for me.

Get the OnePlus carbon bumper, top quality made by EVUTEC. The bumper case protects more. The normal case does not protect the top, bottom and buttons that well.

I used this case for note 3 and was great as a protective case.
Saved few times my phone.
I think I will buy original case during buying phone because free shipping is from 100 euro so it's better to buy with phone.

Looks like the 3rd parties have already gotten started! Just had a look now for mine, and seems like Orzly already have a few up on amazon.
Some are on pre-order but others seem to already be in stock already. (unbelievable how quick some of these 3rd parties are getting organized these days).
The phone's barely been announced!
Anyways, here are the ones I've found from them:
Their version of the silicone (I think they call theirs a FlexiCase)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D3Y8WPP/&keywords=OnePlus+6+case
Their version of the bumper (they call theirs a Fusion Bumper as it has a clear back so you can see the phone whilst still having the decent protective rim in an actual color)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D4MDMD1/&keywords=OnePlus+6+case
The Wallet Case (this is the type that I normally get, so I can use the built in stand for watching videos on my phone)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D3Y246N/&keywords=OnePlus+6+wallet+case
The Lux Case (this style I've not seen before).. Looks like it does the credit card storage thing, but is more of a leather back than the full wallet. (I kinda never use the credit card storage anyway, so it's like they removed the bit I actually use (ie the stand), but kept the bit I don't use (the credit card bit!) haha. Would probably be useful for carrying rail cards though.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D4P3BGQ/&keywords=OnePlus+6+leather+Case
I normally get my glass screen protectors from them, as they're usually a better fit for the OnePlus phones, but I can't seem to find them yet. But if anybody spots them, let me know.
Like Orzly bumper one. so far looks best solution as I don't see transparent original case yet.
Am Gonna pre-order that case and be happy

You might as well go for a OnePlus case if you're grabbing the phone anyway. You can usually get it cheaper I'd you buy it bundled with a screen protector or something, too.
Spigen typically does make cases for OnePlus devices, but if I remember correctly, they took *forever* to release one for the OnePlus 5. I don't remember seeing one for sale until at least six months after the OP5 launched.
I like the looks of nylon case, and expect it to feel great in hand , if I go by reviews. It also offers decent protection and is the most unique OnePlus case this year IMO

It looks like they actually offer some decent protection this year too — they cover all edges of the phone, whereas previous cases tended to leave the top and bottom edges exposed.

I agree the nylon case is stunning. But don't forget to factor in it is PC+TPU case while the Carbon Fiber is only a TPU case. But because of this, the Nylon case is 58.5% thinker and 28% heavier than the Carbon Fiber one. Now we are talking about millimeters and grams, so they aren't going to be drastically different, but it swayed me.
Nylon. It has a soft touch lining and that rugged shell - also full coverage. Looks nice too.
I got my 6 a day early and also got the nylon case. Very, very cool.
I ordered carbon Bumber Case. I think carbon will be better, more durable material thank nylon one.
In case of drop for example

To anybody who got the nylon case, how is it?
Is it really thick and bulky, or do you think it's nice? I don't want something like those old OtterBox cases that everybody had which would turn a phone into a brick haha

ArmadilloTek Vanguard Series Case

I just got my Galaxy S10 (work phone) and work did not provide me with a case for it. So I set out to find a case, however, since it's not my phone I wanted to make sure it wouldn't end up cracked, but I didn't want to spend $40+ for an Otterbox. I saw this case on Amazon when I searched for Galaxy S10 case, and figured I'd give it a try. Disclaimer: I was chosen by ArmailloTek to test out their case at their expense, but this is a %100 honest review, so please read it if you're interested in this case - also this was the first time I've been chose for something like that, so I was pretty excited! :victory: Here's the link to the case on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MLZY39Y/
The case arrived at my house earlier today, and I can honestly say, after installing it, it is a really solid case! It's a bit bulky, so don't expect your nice, shiny, sleek new Galaxy S10 to still be thin and sleek with this case on it, BUT, it is well protected! I personally just use a Wellci Clear Love Series Ultra (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CB9VQK7) for my OnePlus 6, personal phone, as I prefer my phones to stay thin and sleek, however, it does not offer any kind of protection on par with this ArmadilloTek case on my S10. The packaging is very similar to that of OtterBox, in clear plastic with military personnel on the front, and though it says "Military Grade Case" I don't stand by that claim for ANY case, as it's still a fragile piece of glass, aluminum and PCB's, it can't withstand a bullet .
The case goes on with a plastic bumper all the way around, then the rubber/plastic side and backing slips over that. I will say that it is very difficult to remove once the case is on, but then again, if you need a case this tough, you're probably not removing it often. It doesn't get in the way of the curved edges of the phone, though I don't use the edge features of the S10 anyway, they're just gimmicky to me. The case has a kickstand on the back, which is great for standing the phone up vertically or horizontally to watch YouTube and other content. The only downside to it is that it is a little tough to lift out of the back of the case without nails, as it does click down into place when stored away - which I love, so that it doesn't just fall out and end up breaking.
The volume/bixby/power buttons are very easy to press with tactile feedback through the case, and it doesn't interfere with the stock screen protector on my phone at all! Doesn't rub on it and make it lift or anything like that. By far my favorite features of this case are when you lay it on it's back, there are rubber feet (in the shape of fake hex head bolts) so the plastic back isn't rubbing on the hard surface getting scratched up; and if you lay it screen down, there is a pretty big gap between the screen of the phone and the table. See the pictures below as I tried to show the light coming through, as just the top and bottom edges (which are the case) touch the table, not the screen of the phone, and there's a few mm in between the screen and the table - I love that, as I like to put my phone face down sometimes, and now I don't have to worry about scratching that beautiful Samsung display. The case also has nice covers for the 3.5mm and USB-C ports that press in firmly, stay in place, and don't feel like they're going to tear off after being opened/closed repeatedly.
tl;dr
Overall I would rate it a 9.5/10 (the only reason it's not 10/10 is because of the kickstand issue for me, though that's a personal preference thing)
Pros:
Great protection at a great price
Keeps the screen off the table when face down
Rubber feet on back for face up placement on table
Useful kickstand for content consumption
Secure and precise fitment
Covers over the 3.5mm and USB-C ports
Tactile, easy to press Bixby/Volume/Power buttons
Useful side grips for holding the phone and not slipping
Cons:
Kickstand is tough to open from the back of the case, without nails, which is also a pro as it won't fall out from the back of the case and break unexpectedly
It is designed in Texas and the company claims to be all Texan, though the poor English in all documentation doesn't re-enforce that (also the packaging says, "Designed in Texas" "Made in China", just FYI, but then again what isn't nowadays

This is a great case, made in China is a must for all small business.
And you forgot one con, the edge app is a little bit hard to activate with the case.

Everything nowadays is made in China, lol, so no big surprise there. I didn't comment on the edge app as I don't use that feature on my S10, but I'll take your word for it, thank you for adding that
Yeah, I'm cool off armadillllioliolil. Also, hard to not be biased when you're "chosen"

That actually is a pro for some people who do not like the curve and edge display. I am glad the edges are much higher on the sides.
I do like the supcase unicorn beetle kickstand better than the vanguards.

I get that, but honestly they saved me $18. Was it nice of them? absolutely, especially because it's my work phone so I didn't really want to pay for any accessories, and my company didn't provide me with a case or option to be reimbursed for a case. However, at the end of the day it was less than $20, which I'm sure I spend on dumber things throughout the week. So my review was %100 honest.
Also, now that it's been a few days I will say, the case is holding up well, and the edges are tough to use with the case on, but again, I don't use any edge features so I don't mind.

The edges on this case are really high, I had my credit card sitting across the phone earlier and it's neat how much you can see right between the card and case when you look at it from the right angle! It's really nice knowing I can put the phone on the table face down and not have to worry about it.
thank you for the review
I am wondering about the power sharing^^^

I just tried it, I couldn't get my note 5 or galaxy watch to do wireless power share. It does work on my wireless charger though.

Sorry, wish I could test it, but I don't even own any devices that support wireless charging, aside from this Galaxy S10. I wish my OnePlus 6 had it If I can find a friend who has something I can give it a go.

This doesn't make my attempt sound promising when I find someone with a wireless charging device, but I am not surprised at this finding either. The case is pretty thick, so I would imagine there is a lot of space and plastic for the power share to have to go through - which it probably isn't strong enough to do.
great review.
