[Q] Goophone x1 clockworkmod

I'm trying to flash clockworkmod recovery on a goophone x1 and I don't really know what I'm doing.
I can't find a build for goophone x1 so I'm trying to use builder dot clockworkmod dot com to build one.
I flashed a recovery image that doesn't work on my phone so I kind of screwed that.
I don't know how to get a stock recovery image to input. I thought I might be able to dump the boot image and use that. I tried using dump_image but when I try to execute it, it says "error scanning partitions". I also tried using romdump but I get a segmentation fault. I then tried using android partition manager and just doesn't do anything when I tell it to dump the boot image. It does, however, dump the system image.
I tried using the system.img file at builder dot clockworkmod dot com but that didn't work (as I suspected it wouldn't).
Is there any way I can use system.img to build a clockworkmod recovery?
Better yet, does anyone have a clockworkmod recovery.img that will work on a goophone x1?

Thanks. I didn't see anything for the x1 on androidgroupon but I tried the other two with the following results:
The first one (.../goophone-x1-3/):
The 'new screen' rom did not work at all. I flashed and turned on the phone and i got horizontal lines. No splash screen, no booting, couldn't get into recovery, nothing.
Flashing the 'old screen' rom fixed it. It worked but was really slow and everything was in Chinese.
The .../goophone-x1/ one:
I flashed the recovery. Only recovery that I've found that works on my goophone x1, but it's all Chinese. I tried to use that recovery in the clockworkmod recovery builder but the result did not work (could not boot into the result) so I put back the recovery from the above.
I then flashed the rom version 2 using the Chinese recovery. It took a long time to boot and my touchscreen no longer works. I've tried flashing it again and also tried flashing the roms on .../goophone-x1-3/ and still no touch screen.
As it currently stands: No touch screen and Chinese recovery. I suspect I'm screwed.

I feel like an Idiot. ho do i flash the new recovery using "flash tool"?

I have a x1.. I cant remember my password so cant acess anything!! Please help. Its ok if all the data is lost! But how do I hard reset it? It wont enter cwm even if I pressed the power+vol+ button !!

I have a Daxian xy100s china phone. I think this phone (goophone x1) is almast same then my phone. I found roms (on need rom), and i read many forums for my phone. I have problems. I can't use the flash tools, ans i cant root my phone (I tired everything eroot;aroot,bat.exe,motochopper, etc..). I can't flash cwm.
If anybody help me, I will be very happy.

Guys I am in trouble now. I am not able to boot in recovery.
Here what is happpened:
I am on SUVI ROM & wanted to flash new ROM. So I just Factory Reset the mobile using Setting. Now, as and when Go to recovery, My phone automatically start formatting my phone & then it reboot. I tried to flash new recovery using mobile uncle but all in Vain. Phone boot into recovery & format my mobile again.
Then I tried to flash recovery using SP tools but it doesn't detect my phone & stay over EMMC | Searching |.
Please do the needful. I am not ready to go to Service center coz my warranty is over.
Please guys help me.

Hi, looks to me like some problem with the recovery. You should calm down and try re-flashing the recovery properly either with Mobile Uncle, or if it does not work then try to do it with the SP Flash Tool.. Follow the instructions given in the thread and see if it works.. :good:
And while you are at it, you might want to re-flash the ROM with SP Flash tool perhaps that could help..

Reflashing entire rom will solve the problem. Re-install the drivers and the try it phone is detected to the tool.

i got the same problem few days ago,,, dont worry,, just download the STOCK recovery image of mmx110 and install it via mobile uncles and then OFF and ON phone and then flash CWM with mobile uncle and after installation don't choose to go in recovery mode,,,, and then off your mobile and try to go in CWM and see it will work

First of all don't Panic and Stay Calm.
I have been in the exact same situation. SP Tools was not detecting my Canvas 2 as well. In a Thread at XDA I found the Solution. Switch off the Mobile, remove Battery, and then connect to PC via USB cable and press and hold the Volume + button.

Also u can flash stock recovery to get rid of this and den flash cwm later.... instead of flashing a whole new rom.

Note there is three version of the OS Android see which version is loaded on your device check it by the sticker behind the battery search for a simialar rom

Plz help me as my phone is hard bricked! I updated LP through OTA however after upgrade I went to recovery mode as SIM card were not detected! guys I have micromax unite2 a106 phone. I tryd to flash philz in it by mobile uncle tools with the help of a thread on xda.
But now when I reboot into recovery, it only shows logo for sometimes and then blank screen.
I think that philz rec was made fir its kitkat version but now it is lollipop updated.
But my recovery is lost.
How to bring it back.Or gv me CWM for lollipop version....????????

Cache mount issue in recovery mode
After flashing Successfully darkl l custom Rom I am facing the problem. The Rom had been flashed correctly and after that I was trying to flash super. Su zip file by Phil recovery. And then these messages poped up
"E:can't mount /cache/recovery log"
"E:can't open/cache/recovery log "
E. T.C
After that I am stuck at boot logo and can't flash anything. Is there any solution. Plzzzz help.

I bricked my a106. Its detected bys SP flash tool and by my PC. I tried flashing it with stock ROM and SP flash tool showed a green circle. But my phone is not charging not boots. But it's detected by PC and SP flash tool. What to do? Please help!!

- RECOVERY mode gives error " DM-VERITY VERIFICATION FAILED NEED TO CHECK DRK FIRST........."
DIAGNOSTICS - phone can go into RECOVERY MODE AND DOWNLOAD MODE
- Phone is able to boot into TWRP RECOVERY after flashing twrp

SOLUTIONS I have tried so far :
now I have tried firmwares ABOVE but ONLY J7 and above firmware installs, all other firmware throws error in ODIN FOR NAND WRITE FAIL,
and this error in PHONE
" after successful flashing of phone with J7 and above version, phone wont go past boot screen, BUT after restart Phone does go to RECOVERY MODE and download mode,
I have tried installing TWRP RECOVERY, recovery worked, I tried mounting PHONE in MTP, MTP WORKED, but I am unable to copy CUSTOM ROM in phone because of COPY ERROR, I thought to flash custom rom to make it work.
I have tried FLASHING androidfilehost BL. bootloader files for G920W8 but none of them worked, phone is still stuck at splash screen.
I have tried FLASHING pit file for this model too but still phone is stuck at SPLASH SCREEN
I backed up EFS WITH service box which I use to service samsung phones, I tried reflashing EFS too but still stuck at boot splash screen
I have tried smart switch and kies but both software says ' UNSUPPORTED DEVICE"
Please tell me what can be done now to make it work

That's happening because you cannot downgrade from OJ7 to a lower image. Once you upgrade the bootloader from an OTA/Manual flash, you cannot downgrade it. Take the latest OL1 Bell image and flash it to your device if you are trying to get to the latest version.
Check the S6 Thread for how to download images directly from Samsung using SamFirm. I recall posting a short guide in that thread. After downloading, flash the entire image using ODIN and it will update you to the newest firmware. The images are identical for all Canadian carriers. Bloat will be determined from the sim/efs and applied at boot regardless of whichever carrier image you flash.
After flashing, go into stock samsung recovery and do a full wipe and it shoudl bring your phone back to bootable state.

Try to root your device using supersu 2.65 and try this will remove your DM verity key in kernel if still same install uni kernel this will definitely boot your device to normal (uni kernel only work with OS 5.1.1)

I have already tried BELL image which is Newer version than the ORIGINAL BASEBAND = G920W8 VLU3BOL1 5.1.1 ROGERS

You cannot downgrade. Only way would be to take it to the service center.

Recently i got a notification on my Lenovo a536 saying system update(VIBE official update) is available. So as usual i kept for update, the update package was downloaded and phone booted into startup and started upgrading. Suddenly the upgrade got stuck and it was showing only one thing "No Command" on the screen with a Android Bot image. Without knowing what it was, i formatted the phone from startup menu. Later i came to know, my phone is dead. So i had to flash it with stock ROM again. I was not able to flash it with any ROM because my device was not rooted. So here is how i did it finally.
Requirements:
Lenovo a536 Stock ROM
USB VCOM Driver
SP Flash Tool
So once you've downloaded all the files, follow the below steps. Remember to charge your phone to 30-60 Mins before you start.
Step 1: Unzipping
Unzip all the downloaded files and keep it in different folders.
Step 2: Install the drivers
**This is a very important step. If the drivers are not up to date, nothing is gonna work**
Open the Device Manager in your PC.(Can be opened by typing Device Manager in start menu). Remove your phone battery, connect the phone to your PC/Laptop via USB cable. Make sure you use a good quality cable and the powerful port of your PC. Once you connect, your Device Manager will show up the connected device as Mediatek Preloader device.
Right click on it and click update driver. Click Browse Computer and navigate to the USB VCOM unzipped folder.(The device may flash on the list for seconds and vanish and again appear. So right click on the device before it disappears.)
Step 2: Flash the ROM
Once you install the Driver, next you can Flash the device.
Remove the connection and put the battery back. Do not switch on the device.
Open SP Flash Tool provided with the ROM package.(flash_tool.exe)
First Go to Options>>Options>>Download>>Check the box DA DL All with checksum.
Click on Scatter Loading and Choose the file MT6582_Android_scatter.txt in target_bin folder in the extracted file. I will add all the images to flash.
Change the Download only option to Firmware upgrade. and click on Download.
Now the Flash Tool will wait foe the device to connect. Now connect your device using USB cable with battery in but without switching on the phone. Download process will start.
Once it finishes you'll get a success screen as below.
That's it. You have successfully flashed your phone. Now you can Reboot your phone. It'll be same like before. You will be recieving the updates and once you update the system normally. Everything will be normal.
Possible Errors
Your Download process may get stopped due to many type of errors and many number of times. Still do not give up. If you're continuously getting error and the download process stops, try downloading without battery. (Remove the battery and connect the device with USB cable, during the above process.)

Please explain in detail.usually installing recovery part doesn't cause boot loop unless you didn't follow the steps correctly.Is it during flashing rom...?

Hi, I would like to ask you for advice. I was charging my non-rooted phone overnight and it somehow get into bootloop :/ The phone is Lenovo A536 with chip version MT6582_S01 and there is/was stock ROM A536_S186_150813_ROW (found from recovery).
First I tried to flash stock OTA ROM (the same version) via recovery from SD card and also via ADB but without success Now, I'm trying to flash stock ROM via SP flash tool v5.16.36. Problem is that I always remain stuck at red bar "Download DA 100%" and I can't get over this status. After 30 secs the errors usually appear "ERROR: S_FT_DOWNLOAD_FAIL (0xFA8)" :crying:
I tried both port versions: Mediatek DA USB VCOM and Mediatek Preloader USB VCOM, with and without battery and SD card, but nothing helped. I was not allowed a bootloader (I'm not sure whether I have to do it in the case of flashing of stock ROM).
Can you help me? Thx.
Update:
I used SP flash tool v5.1352.01 without manual installing USB drivers (installed automatically by windows) and now is SP flash tool working well (successfully flashed - green rign)
But after disconnecting usb and restart of phone, the phone is still in bootloop :crying:
I tried variety of stock ROMs, bud strange is, that when I look in recovery, there is still ROM A536_S186_150813_ROW and I haven't clue why...?! :/ Any suggestions?
Update 2:
I did a test of EMMC by SP flash tool and I got this error: S_DA_MT_DEDICATED_PATTERN_ERROR (3094)
So, it seems the phone's EMMC is corrupted :crying:
How can I handle a corrupt EMMC?

I have seen this type error,EMMC h/w corruption,cant be solved unless you replace chip itself,Internal damage.

Where can i find legit lenovo firmware to flash it?

I have some problems with my phone.
I installed several custom roms and it's time to sell or give my phone to somebody. I got a new one.
Because every custom rom had bugs i decided to download a official stock rom from needrom.
I copied the rom on a card because the last custom rom was "eating" almost all my memory and when i tried to install it and surprise..failed..without any code error or something..
Can anyone help me?
