A have a strange problem with my HD2. I've installed that (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=953078) firmware after HD2_Updatable_XBmod_Yuki_v1.zip firmware. So I made it because of language (wnted to have my native russian lang ) After some time I decided to go bach to win 6.5 and I couldn't!
First of all when I'm trying to instal the original firmware it writes me Invalid model ID (244) I think that it could be because of name change in firmware, but the instructions say that this version of WP can be easely removed by Original Rom...
Than I couldn't reinstall magldr 13 the same problem with the model...
Please help! I've already tried everything that I could... All possible Roms... even the same Rom... and it writes me some mistakes.
The installed WP7 works... without SDcard...
May be someone knows what is the problem of that case? Please help (I'm a new one here so I can't write messages in the mentioned forum link)

Hi I have A Tablet That After 1 week and flash some thing about 14 frimware i couldnot find any correct frimware.
BUT i have a Same healthy tablet that work find and have not any problem [All Parts are identical] DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA that how can i use the firmware of this tablet and flash it on the other Tablet?
i have the same problem for a Vsun Mobile too.

I come to you because I am exhausted about an update that failed, and I have no idea to how to solve this problem although I tried innobracle things since almost two months (after-sales service, forums, test install firmwares ...) !
The problem is that I live in France and I bought a china/asiatic (?) version of the Honor 8 (FRD-AL00) instead of an european version (FRD-AL09) and so I received an update that was not compatible.
I was in Android 7.0 and EMUI 4.1 maybe... and this update soft-bricked the phone (eRecovery menu). Therefore I had to flash a ROM.
First I tried a lot of firmwares with Android 7 and Emui 5.0, but it did not work.
Then I tried to rollback the version. I used an intermediate file to prepare restoring (FRD-LXX EMUI5.0 + Android7.0 to EMUI4.1 + Android6.0) and I installed the firmware FRD-AL10C00B175_android6.0_emuie4.1 (so AL10 and not AL00). That was the first time that I succeed to install something, but that was a chinese version, and actually it does not work, I loop on the setup menu at the launch, when you have to choose the language.
Then I tried install again other firmwares but nothing works! All versions I tried not works "Incompatible with the current version" in eRecovery.
I search a lot on internet, on forums etc... and I did not find anything exept the fact that the original ROM was certainly an edited ROM, installed by the importer, which is an european version that can be installed on AL00.

So... do you have any solution?
I tried to install tens and tens of incompatible firmwares. Do you know what firmware version could work to restart my phone?? (For example I tried all Full-MF versions (h t t p s : / / boycracked.com/2017/06/15/official-huawei-honor-8-frd-al00-stock-rom-firmware/) and a lot in Android 6)
Another solution is to unlock the bootloader to force install the edited Rom Version, but I don't want to totally brick the phone...!! :crying:
So what are your recommendations?

I just spent 40 minutes with Honor, to get a contact with the after sale service in China to get the original firmware version that was installed on the phone.
I think if I have the original version I could work.
Actually the only version that success to install (not saying that it's incompatible with the current version) is FRD-AL10C00B175_android6.0_emui4.1, but it doesn't work well (indeed it's for AL10 and not AL00 !)

i have a problem, i have an old China phone Crescent CUBE 2 (MT6572 NAND ANDROID 4.4.2). Before flashing it i make Backup from Desktop then i flashed it with TECNO Firmware (ik i dont know anything about phones) then my phone bootloader broke, it dont start (just white screen). a few weeks after i format my pc and i forgotten to save my backup and yesterday i tried to download alot of firmware wich is MT6572 NAND ANDROID 4.4.2 too (Because i dont find my Model firmware in internet) But when i flash with SP-TOOL, flash progress and finnish without problem and the phone still no-start.
so i ask you : can other firmware wich have the same MT work to my phone? or can a custom rom work on it?
i ask you please help me to solve this problem...
A Custom ROM ( as this is case with Stock ROM, too ) must be tailored to device's hardware specs in order to properly work.
