I recently bought an LG VELVET 5G AT&T Of off ebay and the IMEI is 0 it's not rooted or anything but I would like to know what I can do to possibly get it fixed ,when i put in my AT&T Sim card it tells me that the Phones' network is locked and is also permanently locked and can't be unlocked. Is there anything I can do besides using a computer to fix or going to AT&T to fix.

Did you guys ever get this resolved? I have to keep downgrading to android 11 to fix it, but then the phone ota updates and I have to downgrade again.

I don't know why I can't update this phone at all. It is 100% working fine but I can't update it at all. There's this code I want to try "reset carrier setting" ##72786# but m afraid it will lock the sim card again.

you can remove some of the bloatware from one of G8 forum here. i delete some of the sprint apps. oh and when you reboot , you receive any message saying activating or processing?

I tried the bloatware procedure and removed the app .... eliminating the annoying message for activation but no request for PIN codes etc etc

oh m in that group already. I already asked there twice. the first time no respond and the second time someone suggest me to use VPN whether i can find update or not but it didn't work. I think because the last owner of my device didn't activate with Sprint at first that's why it didn't register my device on Sprint's firmware server. The only option left is that i can't update to beta firmware of android 10 but i can't find it anywhere.

Dude the beta firmware will not work for you. You need to be on the latest pie version to use it. I have one more idea though, @ me on the telegram group.
Factory reset the phone. Of course backup first. But power off your phone and hold Volume up + Power until it gives you the prompt to reset. It should help. Mine is on Android 10, but only on January security patch

If you bought the device from your friend just ask him for his Google credentials, and you can easily pass FRP. Afterwards, delete the Google account of your friend and set your own one.

The screenshot you uploaded is useless for that info, anyway you should cover your IMEI number.
OEM unlock feature must be in the developer options.
If your device is from the USA variants, then it is not unlockable.

one can't root that device with apk - if some site claims different it's a scam for sure!
furthermore that bootloader is locked down entirely from samsung. if there will be workaround or exploit in future you will hear it probably from @afaneh92 first. I suggest you to read his threads and subscribe
why do you want to root that device? you probably have another issue which can maybe solved without rooting

Yes, I saw that, and it's right, I totally understand the reason behind that, it's unlikely to cover that wide range of devices in other way but for this reason I said that US variants are not unlockable (by the normal means). For the sake of accuracy, all the devices are unlockable, either for free or through a paid service, but always my answers are directed to the "fun for free" section.
The phone sold to me got locked by Knox Enrollment Service because it says "This phone is configured by <company name>".
So I installed a GSI using TWRP and I can now use the phone, however, I wanna go back to original ROM of Samsung because the GSI functionality is terrible; even the camera sucks.
I know that I'm gonna be blocked once I install official samsung firmware using odin while starting up the phone. I will not be able to use this again.
Is it possible to change the IMEI of this phone and flash the official firmware of this phone so the Knox Guard can't trace this phone anymore? Do Knox Enrollment system references to IMEI or Serial Number of this device? Do changed IMEI will be restored when I flash official samsung rom? Is it possible to change the IMEI of this device permanently?
Any advise? Thank you folks.

I have le 2115 and I have 2 sim cards and 2 sim slots as hardware, but the software does not see sim2 please can you help me
