it's a bluetooth keyboard. I think it's better for people with smaller hands though like me. I LOVE IT~!

I've been using this combo, works well with the Shield TV Pro

whoei !
Big Pockets
You need really big pockets for that drive though.
And a hell of a batterypack !
if you'd rather not pay as much as those external hd's often cost you can
get external cases here
http://www.starkingtech.com/
all you have to do is to put in a std hd
it's often alot cheaper
I'd rather the USB host was smaller (only 1 port) and SD..
Who wants that ugly backpack thing on their XDA II?
-arebelspy
Don't you think it would defeat the purpose of having a POCKET device if it were THAT big?
Lets start rallying companies to make more of these cards...
CF Twin Paradox Dual USB Host Card - But where's the DRIVERS
Hi All,
The Twin Paradox card looks brilliant and should well add a solid USB host solution to the device.. Keyboards, barcode scanners, USB Flash drives and self-powered 2.5" hard drives like the Tripper / Archos etc! .. BUT if there isn't a DECENT quality Mass Storage Controller driver with proper FAT32 support - Then it's all a waste of time.....
We've seen the MESS that Ratoc made of their product!!! Hardware works fine.. Just no drivers!!!!!
It's always a shame when companies don't follow through and finish the job!!!!
OK - Off my soap-box!

My rom is Android revolution HD 6.4.0
My bluetooth keyboard is a dell Y-RAQ-DEL2
Seems to work ok. Wish I had a bluetooth mouse to go with it. Pairing is simple. Just go to the bluetooth screen on android. Now turn the keyboard on and hold down the pairing bluetooth button on the back til the dell keyboard is detected on the android side. A key will be listed so just type it in and the pairing is finished.
Rom: VI 4.0
Bluetooth keyboard: Apple bluetooth keyboard
I did pair the mouse but it didn't seam to do anything
I've had luck using the keyboard for the Motorola Xoom/Atrix. You just need to put the keyboard into computer pair mode by turning it on while holding keys V+A+R, and you can pair it to admitting else with Bluetooth. I've used it with my sensation, Xoom and touchpad.

Hi,
I just bought this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004EFZ2FA/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller=
So far it's okay. The keypad is fairly squashed and is a bit awkward to use because it's laid out in a 'chocolate box style' rather than staggered, but at the same time it's not quite small enough to hold in your hands and reach all of the keys with your hands. The keys feel pretty cheap, but for £20, what do you expect, especially as it has a mouse too : )
However, having said that, now that ICS is here the mouse function works everywhere, not just in certain apps. This gives almost full control of the phone. The only thing missing initially (that I've noticed) was the ability to press 'Menu'. I've solved this by altering the keyboard layout file as per the instrustions here: http://chris.boyle.name/2010/08/android-keymaps. I chose to re-map the 'Alt Gr' to menu.
By trial and error I'm finding all sorts of Ctrl key combinations to do various things, such as open bookmarks in the web browser (Ctrl B), history (Ctrl H) and so on.
On the plus side it will be small enough to go in a suitcase to take on holiday along with my MHL cable so I can plug it into tvs in the hotel room. Yeah baby!!!

They keyboard connects to the lid by some surprisingly powerful magnets. You can hold the keyboard with the weight of the tablet on the lid and it does not fall.
The lid is made of a rubber like material
Microsoft Mobile Keyboard [Amazon]
I've had this sexy keyboard a few days and thought I'd up some pics in action with the N9. Before this I had the popular Anker BT Keyboard.
Pros:
- The typing feels much better on the MS keyboard.
- It's not cheap, but you can tell MS put a lot of effort into this keyboard. It feels like a high quality product.
- Claims 6 months on a single charge (haven't had it that long)
- Turns on automatically on lid open; off on close.
- Can toggle between desktop computer and tablet with flip of the toggle switch
Cons:
- On the heavy side at 12.8 oz (Anker bluetooth keyboard is 6.4 oz)
- Wont work with a thick case. However, does fine with smart cover.
With Naked Browser you can do the typical browser shortcuts, such as Ctrl+T, Ctrl+W, etc.
Any other keyboard shortcuts, home, back, recents, etc.?
Yeah there is a dedicated home button (see pics), the Esc button is back, you can setup Nova launcher to do recents with two taps of the home button, but I have mine set to show the notification tray. I also just learned that if you want to drop the notification tray down, you can tap twice in the top center of the screen with a stylus (or finger) instead of that awkward swipe down motion.
Oh another one is, you can turn the screen off and on with the lock button in the top left of the keyboard.
What stylus are you using?
I've been using the Microsoft keyboard for several months. It is responsive and easy to use. It has a quality build. The Nexus 9 fits well in the stand. I've found it very convenient to use. The combination is a great mobile kit. I would highly recommend it.

The keyboard just work fine and easy to setup.
The arc touch is also easy to setup on my ... LG G3, It won't work on Nexus 9.
The mouse point can't be shown and I find it is connected as a physical keyboard.
I am on pure nexus rom and fire-ice kernel , any possible to fix it?

Have you went to "Dev options>Show pointer location" to see if it is connected but not showing up?

Same problem with on my Shield K1 running android 6.0 and the shield 1.1 software.
Arc mouse shows as connected and paired via Bluetooth but is listed as a physical keyboard rather than a pointing device.
Anybody ever get this solved? I'm trying to use my Arc w/ a Nexus 9 - no pointer.
Bluetooth kernel issue
Same goes for my Apple trackpad
https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=39665
This issue is a little more than 2 years old and has been addressed but hasn't been fixed so all left is to wait for Google to fix this.
The link I posted is for the Apple trackpad but addresses the Bluetooth issues in general regarding pointer devices hope this cleared things up.
Same issue
Same issue with Lenovo Yoga Flex and Samsung Galaxy s8, the arc touch mouse pairs but does not connect.
This may not be what anyone wants to hear, but it may just be incompatible hardware. I purchased the Arc Mouse SE a few years back and it has seen some things. I recently replaced it with the newer Arc Mouse (that has the touchpad). Decided to dedicate the SE to a Shield TV and was able to connect, but not get a response. Out of curiosity, I paired the newer mouse. It worked flawlessly. It seems the SE just isn't compatible with newer Android as a mouse.

PIPO X9 Mini PC TV Box Review

PIPO Tablet has leaded a new type of digital product--Mini PC TV Box according to the demand of the current market in 2015, which looks like a TV Box, while has a full screen and touch pad, and it also is more similiar with the tablet pc, but it can only be worked when connected with the DC power supply. As for the Mini PC TV Box advantages and disadvantages, in summary, it can support a continus usinf for dozens of hours. This kind of product combined the advantages of Tablet PC, TV Box, and mini PC, and offers a full new choice for the customers.
Currently, PIPO Tech has developed two PIPO Mini PC TV Box models--PIPO X8, PIPO X9, and both have gained a lot of popularity from the market. The difference of PIPO X8 and X9 is the screen size. X8 is equipped with a 7 inch scree, while PIPO X9 has a 8.9 large screen.

Judging from the above picture, we can see the two mini pc tv box are more similiar in appearance, while different in size. Moreover, both the PIPO X8 and X9 has offered a better expand performace, such as 1 x RJ45 LAN Port, 4 x Standard USB Ports, 1 x HDMI port, etc.
After connecting with the display via the HDMI cable, the "Mini PC TV Box" will show the external monitor as "Display 2" by default, while the smal screen of its own will be the "Display 1". Well. how to set the two monitors, it has a obivous option on the Windows system. And you can choose "Copy the monitor", or "Expamd the monitor" or "Close one of the monitor" by yourself.
"Copy monitor" means make it show the same contents of the different size screen, and it is sure to be more useful when operating with PPT.
"Expand monitor" can make the different screens show different contents.
What's the Significance of the "Mini PC TV Box"?
1. Compared with the mini pc, it is much safer and has a lower power consumption
2. Compared with the TV Box, is has more functions, and is much more freedom
3. Compared with the traditional tablet, it will be more practical for family using.
Thanks for your helpful information. Where to buy PIPO X9?
I need connect an ex HDD to TV Box in Android mode. Do you know?
