viper4android - Moto G8 Plus Guides, News, & Discussion

Hi, my apologies if this has been posted already. I have successfully rooted my moto g8 plus. However, when I tried to install both Viper4Android and James (separately., of course) i could not get it to work and while playing around with it, the system crashed and I needed to do recovery.
The first time I installed V4A, I was able to get the drivers successfully installed, but it said that it was not processing even though audio was playing. I am wondering if it has something to do with Motorola's built-in audio equalizer, which is laughable but might conflict.
Any assistance, or a link to some add'l assistance, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks

[Q] Kyocera rise No Audio! PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I recently installed the Beats Audio Installer from Google Play on my Kyocera Rise with virgin mobile, and went through the installation. After the reboot, my phone has no audio and often randomly reboots when I use the volume rocker. I am really worried, because my Kyocera Rise has no custom recovery available, and no available roms to flash to restore the audio. My Rise is rooted. Is there anything I can do to get my audio back? Please help!

+1 to you sir,
I have the exact same issue right now and I am spamming the xda forums for help along with android central and kyocera. I really need your help. I will let you know if I find anything, and please do the same for me.It seems like this is an issue with the kyocera rise. I am going through the audio drivers and seeing if anyone else can give me the drivers.
I tried to use this:

but could not come up with anything and it still didn't work.
F.Y.I. I think that they might have locked the bootloder and changed it so that it has these issues when you change the root partition. I have the exact same issues.

[Completed] [Q] LG E450 problem with sound recording and mobile signal

Dear Sirs!
I am asking about your support because I really don't know what to do.
My wife has LG E450 phone. I have rooted it using Universal Root with SuperSU. BusyBox was installed as well as Xposed. Xposed has no modules yet. Also the bootloader was original (locked).
In a meantime the wife complained about regular mobile network signal loss with no reason.
So I have investigated the problem and found the mobile network gets lost immediately when any application tries to record sound. It happens with Skype, Viber, stock camera, stock voice recorder...
I have installed the stock ROM with losing root, Xposed, Busybox etc but the problem didn't disappear. I have tried to boot the phone in Safe Mode - the problem exists. I have tried to record any sound without SIM card installed in the phone - but it didn't help.
I have installed root using KingoRoot with changing KingUser to SuperSU, installed unlocked bootloader but the problem still exists.
Can anybody help me? The logcat logs are attached to this message (two logs obtained with truing to record sound with stock voice recorder and one log with same actions - but with SIM card removed).
P.S. Please delete this post as I asked in device specific subforum. Pardon me.

CyanogenOS 13 and V4A

Hello peeps! A longtime lurker, first time poster here.
Straight to the point. I upgraded my rooted OPO with the COS 13 ZNH0EAS2JK by Manudroid19. My kernel is the boeffla one for COS13. The user experience is smooth as all hell but i encountered a huge problem. I can't get Viper4Android to work at all, hell, even the built-in AudioFX didnt do anything. The apk works fine and it installs the driver without any problems. I've tried the phone speakers and a headset but any of the options in V4A don't do anything.
Has anyone got V4A to work on COS 13? Or even AudioFX? I've tried flashing V4A and tried the Play store version without any luck. What am i missing? Didn't have any problems with V4A on 12.1. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Viper4Android how to questions

Hello everyone,
I just got a 1+6 after my 1+5 got stolen as well as my 1+3 few weeks later (bad luck ikr), and I want to install Viper4Android for the first time, never got it on any device.
I saw a post saying that version 1.7.4 is working on latest OOS but can't seem to find it in magisk, only shows up 2 versions which do not match
Anyone can direct me to a place I can find info on how to install it and possibly use it ?
Also, is it just a simple app that you can remove and be back to stock or does it affect drivers of some kind ?
Cheers
The only Viper4Android that I found to work consistently with minimal effort is the one included in the xXx NoLimits Magisk ROM. With that ROM as soon as you remove it as a Magisk module, you're back to stock and it doesn't affect the drivers at all. Another nice thing is that he includes a couple of Viper profiles to get you started.
I'm with the same problem, i've tried the ones in magisk but they always crop my WhatsApp audios and a lot of others things, If anyone can direct me tio with the module, i'd like a lot

Dasaita PX6 Vivid 10 Trouble Installing V4A.

This is my first post as I am still fairly new to XDA so please bare with me. My problem I am facing is getting Viper4Android to install properly and to get the drivers installed correctly, because I am doing the reruns of downloading, installing the drivers, rebooting and repeating. Currently I'm running a Dasaita Px6 Vivid 10 rooted with magisk. I've flashed V4A 2.7 and legacy. 2.7 leaves me in a driver install reboot loop whereas legacy leaves me with failed driver installs. I've been on Zackptg5's site and flashed ACP, AML, JamesDSP, KerSepPat and more that have been used on every thread I've read regarding install methods and system mod adjustments that have ended with successful installation. So I'm a sitting duck who's more lost than Joe Biden's mind. If there is anyone with a detailed instructional install thread/post/redirect or if any suggestions about where to go from here would be deeply appreciated. I don't know if I've overlooked something small or obvious. Also, I don't have a custom recovery installed. I can't figure out how to unlock the bootloader for my headunit or how to install TWRP any help or guides in that area would be biblical. Lastly, I use ADB AppControl a lot with my Dasaita. Thanks read and if I don't hear from you later then Good Morning, good evening and good night!
