Reboot Bug on Android 11! - Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite Guides, News, & Discussion

Since the last update on android 11, theres a bug on reboot.
the phone will be stuck on the white MIUI bootscreen. this happens only when you try to reboot it.
Solution: go to fastboot mode for a few seconds and turn the phone off there. after that, just start the phone by pressing the powerbutton.
the bug doesnt occur, when you shutdown the phone and start it manually.

same here! I hope they fix it in the next update! I also have a lot of issues with notifications

Phone showing white battery icon and shuts down

I was setting up adb and fastboot and when i rebooted to the bootloader using ad recovery-bootloader it showed be a fastboot menu.
fastboot devices did not show up anything. I could not reboot using adb so i manually restarted the phone.
Now when it starts, i get a white battery icon and it disappears and phone never starts.
Does anyone know what could be the issue here? Anything else I should try before giving up and reflashing?
I am guessing you are on AOKP or cm9(redpill or earlier).
That was a bug in the rom.
It was removed from cm9 after bluepill, don't know if its removed the latest AOKP build or not.
If you don't want to flash a new rom, try this:
Pull out charger cable,if connected, wait 10 seconds,
1.LONG PRESS (3-5 seconds) power button. If you see charger logo again, LONG press again. It will boot normally.
2. You can also try going into recovery and then rebooting from there.

I had to keep on rebooting and finally I was able to boot into the device
An easier way...when you see white battery, hold power down again until LG logo. It will start

U only need to erase persist and then flash persist.img from bootloader. After that flash latest ROM, this bug has been fixed.
DO BACKUP FIRST!
Thankyou very much.

no, because there is still no update for my device, my tablet wont go to safe mode now(maybe because i have done several flashing in my device & it often fails) , i have tried downloading apps that will automatically put your device to safe mode after reboot but it will say "unfortunately *** stopped" then reboot again to normal. But i will try reinstall my rom after im done with my work, is there any other options?
Turn On Safe Mode
If the device is on, turn it off.
Press and hold the “Volumem Down” button, Then press the “Power” button until the Galaxy Tab powers on.
Continue to hold down only the “Volume Down” button until the Home screen loads.
............................................
Maybe some of Apps cause the problem try to uninstall new them
I had the same problem with Galaxy Grand2 after update but after switch to safe mode the problem solved
After all if the problem is still exist install new rom with Odin [Download the Rom from http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-T231 ]

Cannot boot after Supersu 2.82 binary

I'm in big trouble and need help.
This is a rooted Nexus 5 running stock 5.1.1 The SuperSu version was 2.79. Everytime I updated to the latest SuperSU (2.82) from Google play I would get boot problems - specifically that the reboot would "optimize" all apps each time making my reboot take about 30 minutes. I would recover by rebooting into twrp recovery and restoring a previous nandroid.
After waiting a week for the SuperSu developers to fix their problem I tried the update again. Same result. As the app optimizations restarted, I impatiently pressed and held the power button to restart the boot but into Recovery. The optimizations stopped, the display turned off but the phone did not reboot. All attempts to reboot by holding down the power button have since failed no matter how long I hold the button down, with or without the volume down lever.
So I have a phone that is dead and will not reboot. How do I get out of this problem? My laptop has adb installed but I don't know if that will connect with the phone powered off.
Please help. Thanks.
OK. After holding the power button down forever, the phone finally rebooted.
Phew! Don't know why it decided to do so, but glad it did! Maybe it was scared of your expertise.......

Help with reseting

Hi,
Yesterday I upgraded the phone to last aospa version (no other modification such as kernel, etc.). Today, I installed Android Auto and also ungranted permissions to some apps to not to access to my location. But then, after 1 hour, i think, the phone got into a bootloop. I can't reboot into recovery as as soon as I get into the screen to choose between "Start"/"Recovery"/"Power off"/... it reboots again. It reboots so fast I don´t have time to choose fastboot or recovery, even sometimes I managed to change to "restart bootloader" but even if I press the power button to select this option, the phone reboots. Also, If I connect the phone to the grid, the phone doesn´t stop rebooting.
So, I can´t keep the phone turn on enough to go to recovery and reset or select the fastboot to reset it from the computer.
I´ve also posted this in the aospa forum, as it could be a software bug.
Help please.
Thanks.
It looks like dead power button. There are few threads abut it:
