Samsung Galaxy A8 SM-A530F stuck on Samsung logo after recovery boot - Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries

Hello All,
I have a galaxy a8 that I tried to boot into download mode to check if my drivers are working on the PC and it's stuck on the Samsung logo now. The problem is that I have data on it that are important and I have to save otherwise I would perform factory restart or flash it with regular CSC with Odin. I tried flashing the latest official firmware with HOME_CSC binary but it's still stuck.
I also tried simple stuff as cleaning cash and leaving it off for a day to power-drain but it's still stuck.
Can somebody please advise on any tips that I should try I been trying to unblock it for days
Thank you in advance

Is there any way to recover data with adb in this stage?

Have your phone serviced at a phone repair shop. You don't have the tools to recover your phone properly. You messed up now pay for professional help. To put it bluntly. Learn your lesson and don't play with your phone.

Hey man, you said you cleared the cache it means you can boot into twrp recovery mode, right? If you can, just boot into recovery mode and connect your device to pc/ laptop, it will be connected via MTP. After this you can copy any and all data from your device. If you want your app data as well, make a nandroid backup of your device from twrp ( doesn't matter if you jave boot loop) and after formating your phone you can use titanium backup to extract app data feom nandroid backup. Hope this helps...

[Q] Boot loop - download/recovery mode accessable

I feel like such a noob...
I couldn't find a thread that addresses my specific problem...
My Captivate i896 wont start up any OS. When booting it displays:
i896 and samsung
i have access to Recovery and Download mode... however Odin and one-click unbrick cant recognize the device unless its in Recovery mode.. but after it recognizes.. it fails to contact my device.
wile in recovery mode i deleted user data, cleared cache data, and formated sd-card... im not sure if that was a good idea?
what can i do to get my phone back into stock?
now i dont have a captivate, so i dont know what odin is
about going back to stock, i wouldnt worry about that until AFTER you get a working os so id copy a custom rom onto your sd card and flash it in recovery
So, I made the noob mistake of placing a new ROM and radio on my phone, formatting my cache, dalvik, and system, then installing the radio first. This caused my phone to fail to boot for lack of an OS, and when I went into bootloader, it attempted to update the radio.
So here is what I learned. If you somehow cleared your OS, you need to re-install or install a new OS. If you have access to recovery, you should be able to do this. While I am not entirely familiar with ODIN, I imagine it allows you to mount the phone as a storage device? From there, simply place the ROM on your phone and flash.
If this doesnt work, then I can't imagine what you will need to do. I have a friend with ODIN, and will play with it a little to attempt to get a little more familiar with the program in an attempt to help you out.

5.1.1 means your phone has a sytem write protection, so it tried to reboot into recovery itself after auto-reboot => bootloop.
Do you have TWRP installed?
If not, flash Unikernel (you need a custom kernel with this bootloader) and TWRP, then use TWRP to wipe/factory reset and flash any ROM.

Use TWRP to wipe cache/dalvik and do a factory reset-
did you check the ROM you used was for your special device, and checked its md5-sum?
I personally would try downloading another one and flash again; once it works, do a backup in TWRP; very easy and done in 3mins.
Maybe you should try to manually log on to your network to see if this works first, in "network settings" tap the line to automatically choose your provider; should be it.
I used 4-file G920FXXU2COI1, after reboot phone not started so I flash Unikernel via Odin, now phone is turned on, but sometimes touchwiz was stopped, maps was stopped etc, phone find my network, but I can't logged
After wipe in TWRP phone stuck on Samsung logo

I ENABLED some stuff in package disabler pro, and its stuck on a non reflashable loop

I was using package disabler pro to disable some Samsung apps, like galaxy apps, billing etc. I have had the phone like this for months without problem. Today I re enabled galaxy apps and rebooted phone and now my phone is boot-looping, stuck on samsung logo. I re flashed the EXACT same rom that is on there via ODIN, (XSA g920i) and it STILL boot loops. Normally this fixes problems like this. The phone is stock, uprooted. Don't tell me I have to factory reset it all?
Will not even boot up in safe mode.
This can be moved to the Q and A section but I also didn't realise you can soft brick your phone without root.
I am definitely sure it was re enabling some apps in package disabler pro that did it. Is there some way to ABD console re enable all apps or undo whatever the program has done?
I'm willing to install twrp recovery on the phone so I can mount system and undo whatever the program has done. Does anyone know what to alter?
$10 paypal for solution that doesn't involve loosing data.
If I factory reset, will I be able to recover the files on there like pictures and images with a program?
Install custom recovery, then mount you sd partition in recovery and connect to pc then move all your pics etc to pc, then factory reset

Yea Im aware I would be able to do that but I want to be able to undo the programs influence so I can boot into my phone again.
So I take it I use the latest twrp and just flash via odin? I dont need to also flash a custom kernel?
Yeah just flash recovery with odin, you could probably try using the file manager in recovery to delete the galaxy apps apk, or fixing permissions may work, or possibly wipe cache and dalvik and may be able to boot, the custom recovery gives you a few options
I contacted the dev and he said there is a way to fix it via ABD. The stock s6 mm recovery has an ABD option, is this the same as a proper abd when the phone is booted up, or does it only allow you to push signed files and updates accross?
So does this mean it is possible to fix the issue without flashing custom recovery?
Is there another section this can be moved to? Im surpised there isnt more information for such a popular app with a common problem.
I just realised I have reactivation lock enabled. Does this mean I CANNOT flash custom recovery? If thats the case I dont even want to try.
How to enable 'Android system' back?
Hello!
I have disabled 'Android system' in 'packagedisabler pro' in Samsung sm-9005 and now the phone is stuck with Samsung logo and stars during booting. The phone cannot boot. How to enable 'Android system' back?

Galaxy S6 only boots in TWRP

As the title already states my Galaxy S6 ( SM-G920F, 6.0.1, rooted) only boots in TWRP and I can't get out of that recovery boot loop. I already tried flashing the stock ROM but I get the SW REV CHECK FAIL DEVICE 4 BINARY 3 fail. Are there any ways to fix this, possibly without losing all my personal data(if not I'd like to know how anyways)?
I can access the download menu and I also tried wiping the Dalvik/ART Cache.
I tried this stock ROM: G920FXXU4DPIL, Switzerland(AUT)
Thanks for taking your time
EDIT: I haven't tried ADB since I'm not sure how to use it correctly and I don't want to screw up even further.
Hi mate that error means that the stock firmware you are triyng to install is a lower version than the one on the device, go online and find the most recent version, as for the data just boot to twrp make a backup of data partition, connect the phone to pc twrp as mtp turn on by default and copy the backup to pc, after the flash just reinstall twrp and restore.

[Completed] help please!

ok so i am stuck on the samsung logo. my device is sm-t7130 2016 galaxy tab s2 8.0 running android 6.0.1
i used this link for my files https://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-s2/development/twrp-3-0-2-1-galaxy-tab-s22016-sm-t713-t3390627
i placed the
no-verity-no-encrypt_ashyx and http://download.chainfire.eu/1012/Su...1103171345.zip in the folder "tablet" witch after connecting via usb to pc is under this pc in devices and drives. the main internal storage directory
i installed twrp using odin unchecked reboot loop. before that i enabled developer options turned on usb debugging and OEM unlock. i booted it up in twrp intially couldnt mount it so i went to WIPE in twrp formatted data. then i mounted the system and made a backup in twrp. i go to install supersu and i cannot find it i couldnt find the other file either. so i rebooted to system and it is stuck on samsung logo.
i pressed power + volume down and it reboots. i can either use download mode or boot into twrp. so i go into twrp and use my backup. same thing samsung logo. i go back into twrp and go to WIPE and do factory reset. same thing stuck on samsung logo. im trying to root it but i cannot find the files. what do i do from this point. i literally just got the tablet yesterday but i do everything on tablets with root

Greetings and welcome to assist. Did you follow this guide exactly ? First things first you can flash stock rom with odin to make the phone boot. When you wiped in twrp you wiped supersu zip also the boot img patcher must be flashed before booting the system
Good Luck
