bq Aquaris X2 - firmware - BQ Aquaris X2 / X2 Pro ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries,

Good day. I have 2 bq Aquaris X2 phones where previous owners have flashed non-original software. Now phones are not recognizable when connected to PC. Is there any way to flash the original software?

On telegram, channel bqrepo contains all the firmwares

Problems with ZTE Blade a460

I've got my brand new zte blade a460 since two months ago. Just a good mid-low budget phone. It has a Snapdragon 210 (msm8909), and Android 5.1 (kernel 3.10.41, compilation EIG-ES-QB18S-A460 V1.0.3, hardware P890A20.H01)
I have some problem with the OS (sound, icons, wallpaper, sim disconections). I wrote to zte support and it seems, according with the answer, they are doing nothing on OS update for this phone.
My question is: could I update my phone with rom and cwm developed for another phone with the same chip (Snapdragon 210), like Huawei Honor 4a?

[GUIDE] How to Change Boot Logo (Splash Screen) for Snapdragon Devices (splash.img)

What is splash.img ?
splash.img (or splash.bin or logo.img or logo.bin) is the raw file in which the boot logo (splash screen - the picture displayed when the device is booted) is stored.
It is stored under the partition: splash or logo in many Snapdragon devices (might vary for devices)
How can I know if my device uses splash.img ?
This splash.img is found mostly in Snapdragon devices (atleast as far as I have seen) (except Samsung devices).
To check if your device uses it, just go to the directory '/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/' and see if there's a partition block named 'splash' or 'logo'.
Or else you can also check your stock ROM (or stock firmware) to see if it contains the splash.img or logo.img or logo.bin (Qualcomm Devices only)..
Where should I get the stock splash.img from?
It can be dumped to your storage by the command:
Code:
su
dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/splash of=/sdcard/splash.img
(Similarly for logo.img or logo.bin)
(You may also find it in your factory images (stock ROM))
How do I edit/modify/create the splash.img ?
Leave a reply in this thread by attaching your splash.img (along with device name) so that I can see what format it is and I'll try to create a tool for your device.

What about Mediatek devices ?
For MTK devices, you might have a different partition for that called 'logo'.
Browse in /dev directory to find out where that is present.
After you have found out, dump the logo.bin file by:
Code:
dd if=/<the_directory_where_logo_is_present>/logo of=/sdcard/logo.bin
Now you can edit the logo.bin using this tool:
Changing Boot Logo (logo.bin) - LOGO BUILDER Program
After editing, you can reflash it by:
Code:
dd if=/sdcard/logo.bin of=/<the_directory_where_logo_is_present>/logo
Hit the Thanks:good: button if you found this helpful.

Sorry, but the splash.img you provided seems to contain the bootloader or something important along with the splash image..
Though I can create a tool, there might arise issues..
It seems quite dangerous, so I'm not doing this

This file seems to be empty completely..
Just open it using any Hex Editor, you'll know it yourself..
How did you get the splash.img ?
Using 'dd' command ?

No forum fo bq Aquaris X5?! Did I miss something?

Hello,
I want to buy a bq Aquaris X5 because of lineage OS support and 5 inch display... but I can't find a corresponding forum. Did I miss something? Is it a good idea to by it in order to have lpnger lineage OS support?
Thanks for help
I have received my bq x5 plus today, and I have seen that the back camera is only 12 Mpixels, and the front one 6 Mpixels, istead of 16 and 8 as per the specifications into the website...
..just wanted to chime in and tell you guys that I am actually planning to buy a BQ device, but will not do so unless there is a LineageOS version working for the U Plus or X5 Plus. I want to have an open source OS running on my phone, so my purchase decision depends on the availablity.

Lineage Os Bq maxwell lite tablet

Do you know which version of Lineage Os can put on a Bq maxwell lite tablet. Anyone have the links for the necessary files? Thank you

what rom for a Lenovo Z6 Youth ? (aka Lite aka K10 Note)

Hello
Is there any "good" rom for the Lenovo Z6 Youth ? (aka Lite aka K10 Note)
With the official roms from Lenovo, either chinese or global, the GPS never work...
With the custom roms I tried (can't remember the name), slow-motion is unavailable, google play always gets stuck forever on "getting account details", and GPS still never work...
I find many custom roms here and on other websites but it seems that they all have annoying bugs, and I don't want to test each and every one of them...
If there are Z6 Lite users here, what roms do you guy recommend to me ?
Thanks
Try Lineage OS 12.1, pixel experience or if you want to use customization use spark os. both are available on telegram group or other you tube website. Everything is fixed now. Lineage OS pixel experience . personally i would recommend pixel rom. if you want more security try lineage os.
