FRP Google protection Mediapad T5 - Huawei MediaPad T5 Questions & Answers

Hello, I bought a Mediapad T5 AGS2-L03 in a garage sale but when I started to configure it, I always have a message that I must connect it to a Google account already registered on this tablet . Unfortunately I don't have the guy's contact details and I can't do anything with the tablet. I tried several sites and videos that show us how to bypass this protection but nothing works because there is still an item missing that they show on the videos.
Can somebody help me please.
Thank you very much

This ZIP worked for me : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-frp-unlock-with-twrp.3827277/#post-85127665
You'll need to flash TWRP recovery first, using fastboot, and then boot into TWRP recovery to flash the ZIP.

That won't work since the bootloader is locked during an FRP lock with no way of enableing OEM unlock from the android settings. I'm about to try this method using the testpoint to unlock the bootloader and then I am going to use the zip from the link above to try to get TWRP on my AGS2-L03

Edit: Ah I see, yeah you'll need to unlock bootloader first. Let us know how you fare ! I did that same process with the test points and then flashing the ZIP and all went well, so hopes are high for you

[GUIDE] Unlock Bootloader, Root & Install TWRP **UPDATE 11/24/15**

For an easy way to unlock & root your X2 here are the steps you need to take. This has been requested by a number of you so here it goes:
1) Unlock your bootloader. There are three steps you can take. The first two are free. The third method requires you to pay a few dollars but it works and is the fastest way. I would highly recommended this method. This is confirmed working on all models.
Option 1: Send an email to [email protected] Email them the following. They usually email you back and tell you to do option 2 or never email you back:
Hello. I keep getting an error when trying to unlock my phone on the unlock page.
Model: GEM-703L (Or whatever model you have)
Serial: Put in your phones serial number here. (You get this in About phone, Status)
IMEI: Put in your phones IMEI number here. (You get this in About phone, Status, it's IMEI1)
Product ID: (Go into your phone dialer and dial *#*#1357946#*#* and it will give you your Product ID)
Thank you for your help
(Your name here)
Option 2: Make a Huawei ID on your phone and stay signed in for 14 days and then go online to unlock your bootloader and it should work on the website.
Option 3: If you want to unlock your phone immediately and don't mind paying a few dollars this is the best and easiest way. Thanks to kpcheang2 for the original information. Visit here:
https://www.dc-unlocker.com/how-to-read-huawei-bootloader-unlock-code
- Download the DC Unlocker Software
- On their site buy 4 credits. https://www.dc-unlocker.com/buy I used PayPal. It cost me around $4.38 USD.
- Follow the instructions in their tutorial. Make sure you put the phone in Manufacture Mode. Choose "Read Bootloader Code" in DC-Unlocker to get your bootloader code.
- Put your phone in bootloader mode (plug into the computer and hold in power and volume down with the phone off) and do a fastboot oem unlock xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx where x is your bootloader unlock code the DC Unlocker program gave you.
2) Download TWRP recovery from here if you're already on Android 5.1.1
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862716585
2b) Download this TWRP if you're on Android 5.0 (Now in English!)
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767151055
Put your phone into Bootloader Mode and fastboot flash the TWRP recovery file you downloaded. (extract the img file from the rar file first) I'm not gonna go over how to use Fastboot here as there are many guides on many different websites on how to use it. Then do a fastboot reboot. When your phone reboots shut it back down and then hold in volume up and power until it turns on and keep holding in volume up until the phone boots into TWRP recovery.
3) Root your phone.
In TWRP flash SuperSU:
After flashing, reboot your phone and you will be rooted. If you want to manually upgrade to a specific Huawei build or flash back to stock, flash one of my modded Kangvip ROMS or visit bark1234's or eenapps thread for the downloads and instructions. Thanks to bark1234 and eennap for their threads and downloads.
Still nothing
So I've been trying to root since I was able to unlock my bootloader, which I was able to do from the website method.
I could not get adb to work with the other method listed on here.
Now with fastboot, my device is identified per the fastboot devices
I am able to run command fastboot flash recovery twrp_cn.img and it looks successful
so I restart and shut down
hold vol up and power and it vibrates and restarts and vibrates and restarts.....
I go back and flash the default recovey and am able to access this with the vol up and power, but cannot get to the twrp recovery. I have tried flashing a couple of versions and no custom recovery can I boot to.
Any help would be appreciated.

What model are you using? Also, what are you on, B106? When you boot into TWRP, I'm sure you already know this but make sure there is no cable plugged into the phone. Mine vibrates once after installing TWRP but I remain holding in volume up and it boots into TWRP the second time.

If you want, send me a link to that version of TWRP and I'll add it to the OP.
I wrote to [email protected] several times but they did not reply.
I do not understand why.

I don't know why they aren't responding to you. I'm starting to worry that when my new X2 comes (I ordered a second one) they won't respond to me either. I'm sure there will be a workaround.
I've been e-mailing them for almost two months and I haven't received one reply from them. I have the 703L and I've tried their website over and over with Google Translate's help. I always get the same error about the log books not being older than 14 days. I just can't get anywhere with Huawei and it's super frustrating that they don't support the U.S. that well.
What I did
Just signed up for the huawei cloud service. And after 14 days I was able to get the unlock code. Worked first time after trying the email way and waiting.

How were you able to sign in to the cloud service, every time I try I get that the Network is not available.
I went to this page with chrome http://www.emui.com/plugin.php?id=unlock&mod=detail and let it translate for me. It took mrme to a login page and I bit the bullet and signed up. 14 days later I got my unlock code from the same page.
Can anyone confirm that dual sim works after using this root method. When i use boot.img root method, dual sim stops working.
Thanks in advance guys.

I can use new OP to succesfully unlock my phone.
Does anyone know if these instructions would work on the Mediapad M2? They both use the same SoC and the display resolution is the same, though the M2 is 8" and the X2 is 7". The M2 ships with Lollipop 5.1 instead of 5.0, but I don't know if that makes any difference here.

DC Unlocker should work to unlock your bootloader but I'm not sure about everything else. I would imagine if you could find a build of TWRP for the M2 you can use the root method in the OP and it should work.

I have been trying to look, but I have yet to find TWRP for M2. I guess it's just too new yet and/or not popular enough to have garnered much support from the community. Thanks anyways, I'll just proceed with unlocking the bootloader for now.

How to Relock bootloader

Hello all.
I attempted to flash a ROM a while back and failed miserably. All I managed to do in the end was unlock the bootloader. I would like to change this, and set things back to they way they were; locked bootloader.
Is there anyway to achieve this? I would like to be able to use apps like Uber that won't work with an unlocked bootloader.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Hello I think this could help you
https://youtu.be/8OywEYZ2cbw
This is a video about how to rebrand your mate 9
Now it in the steps it says that after you use the options 2 to rebrand it relock your bootloader, I don't know what mate you have but since you probably installed a custom recovery it is why you can't relock with the command, so my suggestion is this download the WHOTA update and also install the the software finder via Google Play. With it look for your specific model and copy the links to download the files for your specific model in your PC, Also do a Backup of your Oeminfo via the TWRP since it will be the only file you won't find, probably (if it happens to be the MHA-L09 C605 send it to me I need it for my phone I made the mistake of not backing up my Oeminfo).
If you download the files and follow the instructions of the video you will be able to relock your bootloader. But watch it 3 times and also download all the files and make sure to back up everything in your PC if something goes wrong.

just flash your oeminfo.bin file again and your bootloader will be locked.. make sure its for your model!

Thanks guys. I've found a fairly simple solution.
This is the solution that worked for me.
1. Type "fastboot oem relock (your phone's unlock code)" and select unlock or yes with volume buttons & power.
Hopefully this method will help others.

OPPO f9 imposible to root?

Hi Friends, Ramón from Mallorca, Spain. Nice to salute you ppl.
I have a problem. Justin bought a Fresh OPPO f9.
Searching guides on internet, always are the dame steps everithung ok but... When need to unlock bootloader ...ops theres no bootloader...
Simple question:
Its possible to root that mobile today? If its possible can anyone help me with a tutorial? THX in advance.
No answers in data seems bad news
Yes, I was looking for the same! All the guides are just copypastas with steps that aren't specific to the F9 Pro. Haven't been able to find a real resource for unlocking the bootloader of the F9 Pro yet.
Bad news ... for now
So me too there are alot of incorrect solutions that wont work.
Reason
Oppo has locked the bootloader and removed fastboot acess to bootloader.
We cannot unlock the bootloader.
The only way we may be able to root this phone is with the Boot image patch method used in Magisk but Oppo also has introduced an encryption scheme to stock images called ozip. At the moment no one has been able to find a key for the oppo f9's ozip encryption.
There are a couple of python tools to decrypt ozip on github
I am not allowed to post urls yet.
None of the keys work ... I have tried to brute force by guessing random keys because i know little to nothing about encryption but no success.
Also there is a interesting git with the encryption schema itself search for ozip ecryption specks
Anyone with cracking experience might give it a go
The stock image can be downloaded from oppos support page.
Maybe we can get some support from the senior members here who have knowledge and experience.
on the specks site it is said that we can retrieve the key with :
xtract the 128-bit ECB Key (binary is here, aarch64 elf, 0x23f08)
I dont even know what that means and the link is dead.
hai,
just bought OPPO F9 Pro
wanna ask, if someone have this problem ? (check the video)
any solution how to get rid of this yellow blinking?
also i already post this on NoLed room, but still no answer .... maybe someone in here got a answer :laugh::laugh:
video link : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1plI...ew?usp=sharing
thx

I use miracle thunder to open a forgotten pin code / pattern & the method works. on the display of the miracle thunder application there is an option to open the bootloader & open root access for the device. but I have not tried to root my device. the method of using miracle thunder is required to dismantle the device to briefly connect the pin on the PCB to ground.
oppo fones are reciepe to fail,
just saw reno, over priced, strange stockrom interface! (similar to lg v20) felt heavy!
and now what i am hearing there might be no possible way to root,
then for me its a bye bye!
Somehow I can unlock the bootloader so what to do next
They said in the video below that you can easily root it with magisc and this image + spflash root.
http://downloads.oppo.com.s3.amazonaws.com/firmware/CPH1823/CPH1823EX_11_OTA_0200_all_KQk1AfKkf1ms.ozip
There is a link:
If someone did it successfully, please tell us here.
The main issue with this method, that this method erases all previous data from phones.

Bootloader unlocked - then what?

Hi, so I have the Chinese PDEM30 version of the Oppo X2 Pro and I've applied for the bootloader unlock using the in depth testing APK from Oppo. As I believe it was made available in July, wondering if anyone else has done this yet and had approval already?
Once (if) I get approval, I gather the unlock is pretty simple:
1) App says approved
2) restart into recovery mode by holding power + volume down (after backing up data of course).
3) plug into PC and use ADB to unlock using the simple generic fasboot command (after enabling USB debugging in developer options of course).
PHONE UNLOCKED!
So here comes the silly question - does this mean I can load ANY ROM I want or does it have to be a custom ROM via TWRP or some other tool.
I simply want to load the global ROM, so assuming I can just do this from the recovery mode. Obviously right now it doesn't work as we get the "this is an older version" error. Will an unlocked bootloader solve this or is there more to it?
Appreciate any help from someone a bit more familiar with the process.
Thanks
Ben
and FYI, here's the current status in the testing app, I have to wait until the 10th September for the result. Fingers crossed!

No, you have to register anyway as it's part of the criteria. Just register on Oppos UK site with your number, then login to the Chinese site using that login.

A problem with Unlocking a phone's bootloader

Hello everyone, I've recently tried to root my Redmi Note 9 (merlinnfc) The OEM in Dev options is turned on, and the only problem is, there's no way to fix the " FAILED (remote: 'Token verification failed') " error message.
I have everything i need, there's the magisk zip on the phone, and i have the TWRP image for it. ( un-official, there's not official TWRP image for 9+)
Yes, i do have platform-tools, and the vbmeta/vb images in case i accidentally brick my phone.
The only thing i need to do is unlock the boot loader.
Any way's to unlock it? PS: I've tried MiUnlock, my country's unssuported. (It dosen't work. No verification message, turns out my region isn't supported)
I don't trust any "One Click Root" apps, since they're either malware, or unsupported. And they might brick my phone anywyas.
Mi Version: 12..0.5 (Most Recent Security Patch, most likely not any firmware patches, so the fastboot method should work)\
Best Regards - FriendlyChemist

I don't understand what you mean by your region is unsupported, care to elaborate?
I recommend trying MI Unlock again, using the latest one might work.
See this post for details.
If it still doesn't work then follow this thread here as stated by the user:
Goodmorning, i succeeded to unlock (appearantly) with Mi Unlock Tool. Don't have to wait 3 days, because i have permission with my Mi account right away. This time.
But i overlooked the simple solution. I put the Mi Unlock Tool in a folder in C:
Before it was still in folder Download with a link to my dashboard. That did not work. In folder in C: it worked immediately.

It should work fine if you have the credentials necessary or waiting for couple of days.
Lastly should anything go awry in the process or you're really desperate you can view this thread. The cable method works better than the test point method.
Hopefully i helped.
You can try to register on miui. Tell them you are developer. You need unlock code. It is not necessary that your country is not supported. You can get unlock code. Some Mi model are ready for unlock.
