Apologies if this is in the wrong section.
I need to remove some icons from the HTC P6500 on Orange and would like some assistance if possible please.
The locations are:
Settings-->System
Error Reporting
Remove Programs
External GPS
I have hidden other icons using and I have used Reg keys like this to either hide the icon or move the icon to a tab that does not exist.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Certificates]
"Group"=dword:00000004
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Customer Feedback]
"Hide"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\ErrorReporting]

The Error Reporting Icon refuses to move.
I cannot find the entry for External GPS or Remove Programs.
Please could you offer some assistance on possible ways to move/delete the icons. The aim here is to just remove the icons from the GUI and not delete the application .exe from File Manager. Thank you
I found a way to change those 3 shortcuts, that acer did not alowed to remove/change them.
ok with a registry aditor go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/software/Acer/shell/Homescreen
and will see some strings values like
ShortcutLinkPathx
then edit the ShortcutLinkPath1 (or 2 0r 3) and erase the adress of the shortcut.
now save changes, go to homescreen ans press edit!
you would be able to change them whatever you want!

for about a month now I can't find a solution..
I cannot find out how to replace a shortcut of the first three and if you want to remove again
you have to do it in the registry.. they are not customazable like the other six..

I'm wondering if anyone knows how to customise the share menu, I cant find any options that control this, and google didn't return anything useful.
This is the menu that appears when you click 'share' and it returns a list of various app options to choose from to send/share your document files, your images, your music files etc.
Ideally I'd like to remove some of the share options that appear and where possible reorder those that remain as I've now got 5 pages of different share option apps listed.
Can anyone help ?

when I share a link/image/whatever WhatsApp is selected first in the share menu and above it shows my top 4 contacts.
Is there a possibility to hide the top contacts when sharing something?

Sometimes when I'm reading articles on my phone, I will send it to my email to reread later. However, for some reason the icon's on my share menu keep rearranging themselves and I have to scroll to find my email client.
Is there anyway to customize the menu so that the apps that I want to use are where I want them?
