yes at longest its not below .36

I have to say, so far so good! Runs smoothly and everything seems to work great! No issues in the past few days! Keep up the good work!

Everything working so far? 5g, etc.? Does anyone notice any type of performance improvement over stock besides faster app loading? Just curious if this would be worth rooting and loading a custom ROM vs. stock.

Loving the ROM so far
I've been using it for a few days now and it seems good so far, it runs smooth for the most part and customization options are good. It seems stable so far without any system crashes I've seen. I've tried Carbon ROM, AOSiP, and this on my phone, and Evolution X is my favorite to use so far. With that said, I've noticed a few things since I started using it though.
One thing I found annoying was the fingerprint recognition needs tweaking to get right. After registering the print, it refuses to read. I have to register it in one color, green seemed best, and then scan with the white and cyan ones seeming to work best for me. I have also used Carbon ROM on the same phone recently and didn't have a similar issue, and noticed when it was registering, the whole screen dimmed a bit and the sensor didn't look as bright as normal when registering but then was full brightness when scanning. I'm not sure if that is the fix, but worth looking at.
My other main issue so far is the task manager chugs often for me, with like 5-10 fps moments occurring often. It seems mostly due to my live wallpaper being resource hungry, BUT it does not chug on stock or in Carbon either, so hesitant to say it's an issue with the ROM but could be better.
Other little issues I've noticed is that the Pulse equalizer is in the settings but doesn't seem to work, clock auto-hide doesn't seem to work, and occasionally fingerprint animation remains on the screen until next scan. I haven't run into anything else problematic that I can think of.

Pretty sure you have to look at the regular 7t pro threads for their roms.. this is specifically for the 7t pro MCLAREN edition which is pretty much the tmobile 5g version

how does development of this work actually? The source you linked is the official Evolution-X github org, but if this is an unofficial rom, I'm a bit confused. Did Team Hydra only create a kernel that allows EvolutionX builds to interface with the device? I'm not too sharp on how it all works these days it's been years since I've had a device that even let me root.

this could be something else, but I noticed that when i restore from a backup on google, it syncs my call logs but it doesn't sync my SMS logs.
could have something to do with not having a default sms app installed? though, that being said the call logs did show up and i had to install a dialer. So, not sure really ?
I did try to wipe and try again, without a screen lock set because I know that can cause issues sometimes, no good
---------- Post added at 07:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:43 PM ----------
I tried flashing this twice, but both times my SMS didn't sync.. maybe due to the fact there is no SMS app installed by default?
I flashed aosip and I didn't have that problem, but I do love the features on your OS. Can't compare the two at the moment though I haven't tried aosip enough.

10.0.39 version ? Can still be flashed?

I managed to get adding cards working by flashing magisk and following these steps:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ap...discussion-t3906703/post79521598#post79521598
however, like every other rom, tap to pay doesn't work
After installing this rom I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to the developpers. It is by far the best rom out there. Smooth, fast, a lot of customisation settings. Really enjoyed it. If only gpay and one hand mode will be added sometime later then it swould become the ultimate rom. Great job guys.

You sure you don't just have it in expanded qs panel mode?
Also, it won't show unless there actually is network activity.

It only shows on network activity, so i guess it does work. Look at the screenshot
Network indicator works fine for me. Double tap to wake does not work, unless i press the lock button twice and try again.

Yes, that was intended. Not all features have been added, as the Dev team intends to make the ROM more stable, before we add any Evo X features into it. So those are just placeholders for now. Features will be added soon.

Which fonts are used in the screenshots?
Great ROM. Random reboots off screencast feature and camera doesn't work. Otherwise works well! ?
Great rom. A minor bug though.. sometimes the gestures stop working... And then the only way to revive them is to do a reboot.
Again it's a pretty good rom. It's a miracle that it contain so little bugs despite being the first build.
Kudos..
It looks like my quick settings panel and notifications are very slow to render, I can see a noticeable lag on pulling the notifications panel down, does anyone knows the reason, or maybe even a solution? If not, what can I do to help the developer to understand and fix the problem? This absolutely noticeable while entering some text in quick Rey notification area (I'm not sure what the exact name of it), looks like rendering or animation there is lagging hardly, disabling window animation in developer settings didn't help. Restarting system UI helps for a while, will monitor the situation and try to find the cause, all advices art appreciated.

I have written to the developer lot of times but no response. The rom is also buggy. So instead of wasting shhit there are better roms around who are updated regularly.

So, why don't you stop waisting your time here in this thread with other stupid people like me (who are still looking for an update), and go somewhere else then? But telling everyone that the project is dead based only on the fact that the dev didn't answer you personally is a very bad thing to do.

ROFL!! I aint wasting any of my precious time here. I have found the best rom and too much happy with it. Even stock pixel rom cannot beat it. Happy wasting your time behind such dead projects and keep waiting until redmi note 10 pro releases.
Btw the developer just releases his rom and forgets about the rest no matter you have to throw away your phone.
You are on your own!

Keep it coming.. :highfive:
Thanks for the rom, I've been with her for a few hours and she is doing really well.
App updates are installed without problems and everything is working.
What I do not understand is because the Lawnchair is also installed, if the pixel launcher already works well.
Hi, thanks for the update of this amazing project, I only have one doubt, is it NECESSARY to flash Magisk?
Nope

Because Full screen gestures only works in pixel launcher.
I know that, I think you have not understood my question.
What about OTA Updates? Planning to use as daily driver.

Lawnchair is included just in case if someone likes it since it has lil more features than default Pixel Launcher.. and I assume you probably aware about latest released q pre alfa build by lawnchair team recently which is fully compatible with Q and quickswitch so probably more people who likes lawnchair would like to use it over Pixel Launcher..
Hi.
First of all thank you for your amazing work.
I'm having a weird issue. Using the gesture navigation, most of the times the back gesture acts twice. So instead of going back 1 step, it goes 2 steps back.

Congrats on your first thread @risasuke!
So first impressions are great. My only issue is that the fastbootd. I can't install magisk because it's "locked"? What is that about?
Edit:
So for whatever reason, when this rom flashed, it locked the bootloader

Trying using twrp to flash magisk, I made that way.
You can try the Chinese one, or the Mauronofrio version

The built-in recovery is not allowing me to send anything via fastboot commands. fastbootd comes up but it's not responding to commands. It keeps telling me that it's locked. I can't boot the twrp image or flash one. Everything is locked out

I think that you should have messed something when installing. I'm using the same ROM for the past 3 days and didn't encountered it. Try using msm tool and flashing it via twrp, as it simple than fastbootd commands
@risasuke Is there Face Unlock in the first build as I can't find it anywhere in the settings but so far it's a very stable and smooth experience. How would the rom get updates in the future?

I will try not to add anything that is not on source bro, sorry. Amd, the faceunlock that is out there is a Motorola one, that is proprietary code, so it can't be add.
As for updates, if I see anything nice added on source, I will update. Btw, a new one will come in the next days, fixing the dolby crashing

The added proprietary code from Motorola, and Evox devs don't want to add. As I said, I will keep this rom even with Evox source

Oh, be calm bro, you did something wrong on your side. I asked other guys and they have working normal. I did exactly the same steps and it's working good too.
Try the msm method and you will return to stock.
No. It won't. The phone isn't able to receive fastboot commands. It doesn't matter what method I use, the connection is the problem. Not the commands. I've used msm to confirm as well as Manufrio's AIO toolkit to go back to stock. Nothing is working. I cannot unlock the bootloader. There was nothing in the OP stating this rom relocked the bootloader. There was nothing in the OP stating that fastboot was altered in any way. It's perfectly reasonable for me to warn others of these issues since none of them are mentioned elsewhere.

I don't need to add nothing on OP about "locking bootloader" because it don't lock bootloader, you did something wrong.
But, good luck on your problem

DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Rom is rock stable. Everything I need works: Gpay, hotspot, DTS audio, SafetyNet. It is the first A11 custom rom I'm trying where deep sleep kicks effectively in. Customisation options are acceptable. Only issue I've found so far is hardware buttons being always swapped by every reboot, nothing new but hopefully nothing impossible to fix. Lots of appreciation to the developer for a very good job!

You can expect Vanilla Build soon.
Oh thank God hotspot working. I was afraid to try because the latest Android 10 Roms since Sept have a Hotspot bug that's like a Virus, its so hard to get away from, I literally was hoping from rom to rom for the past 2 weeks. I'm gonna install this A 11 rom tonight
Does Volte on Airtel network works?
I cannot find the hardware keys customization. Where are they located? If it's the navigation tuner, that keeps crashing for me.
EDIT: NVM, it's Under OnePlus settings.
I just gotta say, I haven't updated my OP3 in maybe more than 2 years. I'm coming from Android 9. This is the third ROM I've tried tonight, because others had issues or just things that annoyed me. This ROM feels great in my extremely limited experience so far, and is noticeably smoother than Android 9. Thanks for the ROM!
In DerpQuest/Miscellaneous, the menu is empty. Don't know if it's a bug or just the ROM at an early stage.
If clock is centered in status bar, there remains an ugly empy space on the left for the other icons.

1. Does rom support encryption?
2. Has inbuilt app lock?

is wireless adb working?
edit: sorry bugged out and posted twice. not sure how to delete message.
After more than a week using this rom, I can tell the issues I've found:
- hardware keys are constantly swapped at every reboot - annoying, but one can deal with it
- there's a loss of mobile data signal which happens randomly, I have to reboot to get mobile data again. This is most likely not caused by the phone company since at the same time in the same room and with the same contract with the same company, on different roms, my daughter gets LTE+ signal and I have no signal and have to reboot once and sometimes twice - very annoying and one cannot deal with it in the long time
- other than that, everything works fine, which is very impressive for an alpha rom.

If clock is centered in status bar, there remains an ugly empy space on the left for the other icons.

Default Battery alignment works fine. I'll fix left alignment in next built.

Haven't noticed network drops. Strength bar is full for me.
