I'm on EU MIUI 12, but I might change to official global MIUI11 today.
Some users said battery life is better and temps are lower on global.
I was on EU from the start so I guess it's worth checking.

If you wanna stay on stock ROM, just use MiFlash (check the "clean all" option on the bottom) and fastboot ROM for Global version you wanna use. You don't need custom recovery.

Please note MIUI.EU and EU region firmware is difference. MIUI.EU based in global firmware code MI. EU region is EEA with EU firmware code. don't get it wrong.
1. Miui.eu is better for me with less bloatware and still keep miui feature. Use since mi 6x and old poco f1.
2. Indonesian language include in miui.eu
If you want try it UBL and flash global first with MI code firmware last version. Step in Miui.eu rom thread.

sure :good:
You can but it's not recommended. Different rom regions use different persist.img (use a hex editor to read it). A different persist.img has different data offsets and it can mess with things like Mi account, compass and different sensors, activation data etc.
Le:fastboot won't flash persist.img even if it's present in the ROM folder. You can flash persist.img from twrp but again, not recommended to flash another version of it.

So, you will try to flash global ROM after getting bootloader unlocked?
My main issue now in 12.0.1 is the dynamic refresh rate or something like that makes gaming experience like a crap as hell even if i stay in fixed 60Hz refresh rate

Indonesia ROM vs EEA ROM

I have read that the indonesia version of the ROM for Poco F2 Pro is more stable than the EEA one.
I also read that the indonesia version has the call recorder.
Are there any other differences? Network management type?
Thanks.

Use the INDO V12.0.4.0 version which is super stable
I am now on INDO V12.2.2.0 and it has many bugs, GPS does not work, recent app, battery discharges fast ...
I will return to INDO V12.0.4.0 and disable the update so as not to update.

Will I lose anything by going from EEA to Indonesian ROM? Like bands or languages or anything?
I'm in a process of unlocking the bootloader and downgrading from Android 11 to android 10 and I'm wondering which ROM is the best. I think a call recorder is a nice feature to have. I had it in my Zenfone 6.

I'm using a very strict banking app and I'm afraid they wouldn't like each other. Many users of my bank's app complained about that, but their developers always know better. Sometimes it doesn't even work with stock ROMs on some devices stating that they are rooted.

The main reasons why I'm going back to Android Q are:
the full screen not working in A11 (status bar always visible),
phone not streaming audio to the car head (stopped working after upgrade to A11)
and annoying animation when minimizing an app and going to the home screen (can't be switched off)
Are these bugs fixed in the eu ROM?

I guess I'll stick to the stock Android 10 ROM, so the question still stands: what is the difference between Indonesia and EEA ROMs except for the dialer and message apps?

Same problem, In latest MIUI 13 (13.0.2 Global) the phone switch off automatic 3 - 4 by day, I already follow the steps at the YouTube video at the comments here. Any solution? Is it a software or hardware issue?

People, the problem seems to POCO Launcher.. i'm using nova launcher since last night and no reboot happened at least until now, zero reboots overnight in idle mode.

Question POCO X4 PRO 5G EEA update

I wonder, why Xiaomi doesnt update EEA so often that Global. Last EEA update was on 14.IV, but Global was 16.VI.
Maybe they forgot that they made EEA version...
Meanwhile Indian variant pro plus it's stuck on March patch

For past years i used POCO F1. & i compared & found that in some cases POCO F1 got better photo qualities i don't know what they are doing.

Question What is the smoothest, stock miui rom or custom rom?

I read sometimes that stock rom is smoother then a custom rom.
I installed a custom rom the moment I had my phone, so I can't compare it.
Atm stock rom is smoother than xiaomi.eu. which I'm currently using.
My go to custom rom is Xiaomi eu, but sadly since Android 12 gone really laggy. I haven't tested any other miui or rom.

what do you mean "the smoothest"? xiaomi.eu is basically an enhanced stock version... I've been on both and the eu version clearly performs better, especially battery wise, with features like auto turn device off and on at set times etc...

The stock might be smoother but the EU ROM is debloated and doesn't have Google crap. It has more features. So EU is better in terms of Features. As for which is smoother it depends on the user. The stock is smoother for me but might not be for others. You might want to try the EU ROM and if there's something you don't like you can always go back to stock.
Thanks, just have to try the EU ROM and but the right good sd.
