sorry was asleep
Yeah, sorry, was asleep. I decided to let the battery die, and it fixed everything. I'm deciding to stop trying to root my moto e6, as I was scared to death that this screen meant I bricked it. I also am stopping trying to root because it hard reset my data (which isn't that bad considering my data was automatically backed up by google and there wasn't anything I was worried about losing). I will try again when there is an easier way; such as a simple one click root method. If there is one and I do not know about it, could you dm me on discord? Thanks.
btw discord is GeoGenius#4210

NEED HELP ASAP!! Bootloop, Need CM 11S!

I was an idiot and tried flashing some zips that bootlooped my 1+1. Now I can't boot into the OS, but I can boot into TWRP and fastboot. I'm not sure what files to download at this point, I've looked at the Android development section and am confused how to flash the phone back to stock. Any help would be appreciated!
Umm... Maybe try wiping data? Just a guess, since I don't own the phone, it's just the general thing to do at a bootloop on 99% of the cases on all phones.

[Q] HELP! Verizon Galaxy S 5 Bricked / Stuck In Boot Loop

Problem resolved thanks to bweN diorD!

Hey everyone, I figured this was the right section to post a question, sorry if I was mistaken.
So I recently rooted my phone and tried to install a custom ROM on it, turns out the ROM I selected was probably for the wrong model or something because my screen was just black. So I booted into recovery to try and restore it on the ROM I backed up and it was gone so now I'm kinda ****ed on a phone for now, before I look into buying a new one I wanna see if there's any way I can resolve this and unbrick it.
When I turn the phone on it just loops the booting screen and when I boot into recovery it just has the droid dude with an exclamation mark on it then turns off and does the boot loop.
I was wondering if maybe there's a file I can put on an external drive and it will automatically restore back to stock like on other devices.
I've done a lot stuff like this to my PS3 just never tried it for my phone so I'm just hoping there's a method out there for me, please provide any feedback or questions about it, I'm just trying to get this resolved and I have no time really to research it because of work and a newborn baby plus you guys would know more about it than me so yeah. Thanks!

Alright thank you! I'm pretty confident this will work, once the stock ROM file finishes downloading, which it doesn't seem that it wants to work. I've downloaded it 5 times now and every time it's done it's a fail.. I'll keep trying though.

[Q] Nexus 5 Stuck in four circles after installing app

Hi Amazing people
I have somehow managed to kill my phone. I tried updating one of my apps and the performance went downhill. I then tried to restart the device and it got stuck on the four spinning circles. I can access recovery mode but I don't want to wipe the device as it has files I still want.
Can I boot the nexus into Safe Mode from powered off state?
or what do you recommend without me losing my files???
Help ME please

Have you a custom ROM ? And what is your ROM version ? What are the four circles you are describing ?
You can try going to recovery (stock one if not bootloader unlocked), and erasing cache files android.gs/how-to-boot -reassemble URL I can't post URL without 10 posts- -recovery-mode-for-google-nexus-5/
If it doesn't work you can try to flash all stock fastboot images but it erase all data because you have to unlock it and it erase even the (simulated) SD card (where your photos are).
It is very complicated because you don't have an unlocked bootloader. Can you even boot in the system ? Getting to the lockscreen ? Or you have a bootloop?
Explain more please
Arno
I spoke to google. My phone is now wiped. Thanks for trying to help.

Factory reset phone with root and twrp

Hello guys, yesterday I sold my phone. Now im trying to factory reset my Oneplus one in the menu. But when I do that it reboots and gets in a TWRP bootloop. I already backedup my data on my new phone, so I just want to get rid of everything. When I reboot the phone nothing has changed and all my apps and data are still there. Anyone have an idea what I should do? Thanks in advance.

Simply boot into Recovery, tap Wipe and swipe to begin the process. Doing so will perform a regular Factory Reset.

The best way to ensure that the device is ready for sale is by flashing the stock images with fastboot. See section 8 of my guide:

Well the method that I suggested will ensure that the phone is back to a 100% stock state, exactly as it came out of the box.

I tried to downgrade the firmware, but now I'm stuck in a boot loop, and it makes a buzzing sound and freezes
What do I do? How do I flash properly? The guide doesn't say

No, should I? I did the exclude TA things, both of them. And it actually looked fixed!
But now I'm still stuck in a boot loop, it's just a bit further into the booting process, and there's no buzzing sound.
I am now stuck at the splash screen. It's been 9 minutes.

You should wipe data and caches, else it won't work. The first boot will always take long though, if you think you didn't mess up wait 15min before assuming it didn't. However, make sure you still have enough battery, so if you're unsure, force shutdown your phone and let it charge for a bit.

I'll try that right now. If 20 mins passes, and it's still in the splash screen loop, is it hard bricked? I feel as if I have tried everything.

No don't worry, it's definitely not hardbricked, as we didn't tinker with the bootloader or kernel. We'll get you your root

Congrats!
Rooting is the easier part, just follow the guide, basically can't mess up. If it doesn't work the first time, just do it again, then it'll work

Which guide? Can you link me to it directly? (I am terrified of making any mistake now)
And 1 question, I tried using the android beam, and it doesn't work. (It did before I bricked it)
Could that be due to my stupidity? Ugh :\
