Google Play 4.0 For Android Leaked And Previewed On Video, Features A Design Overhaul

All users of Android, and definitely most readers of this website, are likely familiar with Google Play Store, Android’s online directory that connects users with a vast library of Google-approved third-party content, ranging from music and video to third-party apps and e-books. If a newly leaked video today is any indication, Google is getting ready for a major refresh for Google Play, with enhanced features and a much-improved design.

Those who have been users of Google Play since its early days might remember its difficult-to-use user interface that dominated the first few months of the app’s life, until Google finally streamlined it a few years back. Since then, several minor updates have been made, though this is the first major upgrade to Google Play since 2011. The new upgrade features larger images and icons, as well as a more colorful and “matte” design, in line with the design trend seen the latest changes to the user interface across Google’s mobile apps. The settings pane has also been slightly changed around, making it slightly simpler to customize how items are displayed and downloaded.
As you have likely been able to tell from the demo video below, much of the app has not been populated with content as of yet, which suggests that it might be a few weeks before it actually reaches the hands of the general public. However, Google’s design trend is clear and will likely be welcomed by users who are looking to download content onto their Android devices in a simple and seamless way.
Google Play has been available since the first Android release as the Android Market. Back then, it was mostly a directory for third-party apps for the newly-released platform. It was not until 2011 when the Android Market was revamped to feature more consumer-friendly content such as music, books, TV and video, while maintaining the apps section; this was also when the app was renamed Google Play Store. There is no clear indication for when this new redesign – dubbed as Google Play Store 4.0 – will make its way to Android devices, although judging by the nearly finished state of the app, it might not be too long.
The new ui looks better than the old one in quite some places . but the homescreen of the old play store is better

Raccoon, download apk from play store to your pc^^

Here's a handy java based tool in which you can download your favorite apks from the play store.
It will ask for your login information, you can search apps and save the apk to a folder on your pc.
It works great!
Raccoon
Downloading Android apps to PC from Google Play Store has never been an easy process. Google has pretty strict policies in place to prevent users from downloading apps to any other device or computer that isn’t an Android device. Android does allow you to sideload an app’s APK file and install from there, but these APKs are usually hosted on third party sites. Back in November 2013, I reviewed APK Downloader, a web based service that enables you to download apps from Google Play to your computer via pointing its URL. Raccoon is a similar application that lets you do the same directly from your desktop. The Java based application requires your Google Account credentials, and allows you to download all non-paid apps to your PC without any hassle.

}
Don’t let Raccoon’s simple interface fool you. The program is fairly powerful at what it does. In order to use this program, you will need the latest Java Runtime version on your computer which you can download from Java’s official site. Afterwards, you can download Raccoon directly from the developer’s website. It’s a portable application that’s available in JAR and EXE variants.
After launching Raccoon, you’re presented with its barebones window which carries three input fields at the center: Username, Password and Android ID. You will need a valid Google Play account and (optionally) an Android ID to get Raccoon up and running. If you don’t have Android ID you can simply leave this field blank and Raccoon will automatically create a pseudo ID for you.
After signing in, Raccoon will enable you to download any kind of app from Play Store that’s linked to your account region. It doesn’t let you download any paid apps though. To get started, the first thing you need to do is copy the Play Store link of the app that you wish to download. For instance, if you want to download Facebook’s app, open its Play Store page, and then copy the link from the URL bar and paste it in the Search field of Raccoon. Alternatively, you can also simply type Facebook and the tool will display relevant suggestions, although the URL option can be much more convenient.
After pertaining results are displayed, Raccoon gives you details about the app’s size, published date, price, total installs and rating, and allows you to open its Google Play page, view Permissions and/or download the APK file.
Raccoon downloads each app to the archive it creates to a folder from where you run the app. The archive is basically a download folder that can contain multiple versions of downloaded apps and that is able to automatically update all contained apps according to the developer. Here’s a screenshot demonstrating the Facebook app being downloaded to the archive.
In a nutshell, if you need to download APKS from Google Play to your computer, then Raccoon is certainly one of the better options that you have for that.

[APP][4.0+] SoundLogin Authenticator

Hi, everyone! I would like to introduce SoundLogin - an app and technology that simplifies two-factor authentication process.

}
What is SoundLogin?
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a layer of protection to the standard password method of online authentication. 2FA is offered by many web-services, such as Twitter, GitHub, Amazon Web Services, Google and many others. However, sometimes using two-factor authentication can be very painful. So, at one point, we decided to apply our technology (audio watermarking) to make life easier for people who rely heavily on two-factor authentication. SoundLogin is not a new proprietary 2FA-solution, it is helper technology that simplifies interaction with conventional 2FA systems that rely on one-time codes sent by SMS or generated by mobile apps such as Google Authenticator or FreeOTP. The SoundLogin is a solution that includes a mobile app and extension for web-browsers (although extension is only needed for compatibility with existing web-services). The SoundLogin mobile app by itself acts as a well-known Google Authenticator or FreeOTP app, and is fully compatible with these apps. However, if you install the SoundLogin browser extension, then you can skip the annoying process of manual entering of one-time passwords.
How it works?
When the user clicks on the one-time code button in the mobile app, the app plays a short notification sound (customizable), which contains an encoded one-time password (OTP). The browser captures that sound, decodes a one-time password and automatically fills in the form on the website. OTP delivery is carried out locally by the sound wave, no data is transferred over Internet, so (a) the mobile application can work off-line, (b) a remote attacker cannot intercept your one-time password. The SoundLogin Android app also provides an option (Opt-in) to extract one-time passwords from SMS messages, and send them to the browser via sound notification automatically or after user confirmation.
Here is the short Demonstration Video
Mobile applications and browser extensions are free of charge and ad-free.
The browser extensions already recognize web-pages of many well-known 2FA-enabled services, but a power user can always add his/her own form filling rules, or you can write to us and we will be happy to add a new 2FA-enabled service to our list.

We are looking for your feedback! We don't have any Google Analytics or other tracking software in our app or extensions, so the only way to know how people use SoundLogin is it to get your feedback here.
Any ideas and suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you!

FAQ
1. How many apps does 2Accounts support?
Most apps in Play Store.
Some system apps may not work since they require permissions which are not available to third-party apps.
2. ROOT?
No.
3. Does it modify or repack app?
No, what we did is created something like QEMU user mode. Apps running inside are in independent and parallel function.
4. Which device does it support?
So far we test, it supports most Android Devices with Android 3.0+.
5. Why so many permissions?
To cover the permissions of all the apps that users function on their phone, 2Accounts need to require the same permissions of them. This is just to avoid unexpected crash due to unauthorized permissions.
You can find it from Google Play.
