After lock the screen of my o3d and wake it up, the touch panel is very unstable. By using some multi-touch testing app, it can found that the touch panel can only recognize one finger accurately. It there anyone know how to fix this bug????
i did not notice this problem. Try wipe. What firmware you use??
Try to install Android system info. Tap on menu, and touchscreen test. There should be ok.
For me in some testing apps from market, there where some anomalies. Eg. Taping both fingers very fast, and then it recognized only one touch etc.
Seems to happen to me as well on stock 10J Optus Australia firmware. The touch screen seems to be able to detect >10 fingers (Most other smartphones are 3-5) but when more than one is used, the touch points seem to jump to the other finger (For example, in fruit ninja, when two fingers slide vertically quickly, sometimes a random horizontal cut occurs).
Its pretty annoying in games - Especially when trying to shoot and aim in Modern Combat 2, I keep doing 180 degree turns randomly.

Yes I have the same problem in games, sudden180 degree spins in backstab, shadowgun ...
I'm on stock GB.
happens almost everytime screen locks when a game is running. try playing minisquadron and let the screen lock. when you wake phone up only one touch will be recognised at a time for an interval ranging from a few seconds till you shut down the game and restart it or even sometimes restart your phone. had it since v10a all the way to v20a and believe my i tried them all. even on custom roms....

I thought I was just crazy when this happened.
The 3-tap fix doesn't seem to completely fix it but it helps without having to restart the game.
Hello guys. I need help with my cherry mobile cosmos x2. Which runs mtk6582. I has a problem with it's multitouch.. and it supports up to 10 fingers.. So here is my problem, whenever I press the screen with 1 finger, and then press the screen again with another finger (while not releasing my first finger) when I remove the 2nd finger. It suddently wont detect my first finger unless I move it again.. It's soo disturbing when I am playing games (I am a heavy gamer) Any fix?? Any response would be appreciated!

Hi, I have problems with touchscreen on my sensation xe. The touchscreen is unresponsive in lower part of screen. Sometimes it's working properly but just for few minutes. After heavy usage it also starting making fake touches on the area.
First picture in attachments shows what happened when i slowly swipe from top to bottom.
Second picture shows what happened when i swipe with one finger on the "failed" area from left to right. Even single touch on this area makes two fake touches or nothing.
I want to ask you if you experienced similar issue and if so how you solved it?
Sir, when I hold my phone' screen or touch it for a time continuously, it becoms slow like while gaming it's good for 5 minutes full smooth then when I hold the screen for aiming , the screen becomes slow and completely unplayable. Even the movements become in slow motion and can't even aim as at that time touch starts delay and become slow. I sometimes feel it's because of touch pressure, or OS issue or GPU issue or touch screen . I purchased it just now..

HV problem with this device can't play any games when I swipe it's like sensitivity automatically gets to almost a point that touch becomes unresponsive I either have to move finger great distance to reset or retap finger to reset I don't think it's with hardware bcuz at first swipe even small swipe it works fine but then slowly loses sens is there ouch acceleration in this phone help me
